Chapter 19 - Chapter : 19 Normal Day?

Sho was currently sitting in the main hall when he noticed a card that looked like a debit or credit card, placed neatly beside a letter and a cell phone. Picking up the letter, he began to read.

The contents explained that the card could be used for temporary financial needs, and that Yamato-san could open his own account if he wished. If there was ever confusion, he was told to simply ask the butler, Alfred, who would clear up any doubts. Furthermore, if Yamato-san ever wanted to replace the butler and bring in someone of his own, he had the freedom to do so—Alfred would even train the assigned person.

The last part of the letter mentioned the cell phone. It already had BALDDY's number saved, and came with a premium subscription that allowed calls to connect seamlessly between the Human World and the Underworld.

'This guy is really looking out for me… maybe a little too much, but it's not like I dislike it,' Sho thought with a knowing smile. Folding the letter carefully, he set it back on the table before examining the card and phone. The card was almost identical to a human debit or credit card.

As Sho was still examining the card, the sound of footsteps drew his attention. Alfred—the butler—entered the hall. He stood a little over six feet, taller than Sho, with neatly combed dark-brown hair and a solid build that resembled a trained soldier. Judging from his appearance, he seemed to be in his thirties. Stopping a short distance away, Alfred gave a courteous bow.

"Master, is there any confusion or assistance you require?" he asked. BALDDY had already informed him that Sho was new to this world and might need guidance.

"No, none for now," Sho replied, "but I do want to ask—do you work for Mr. BALDDY?"

"I used to be a trainee butler under Mr. BALDDY House for a long time," Alfred said with a steady voice. "But if Master is worried that my loyalty is still tied to him, let me clarify—I was never his personal butler. My current master is Yamato-san, and from now on, my loyalty lies solely with you. Your words are the ones I follow."

Sho was slightly taken aback. He had only meant it as a casual question to start a conversation, but Alfred's earnest declaration left him silent for a moment. Still, it reassured him—at least enough to not think about replacing the butler. Of course, Sho hadn't forgotten how a similar butler once cut off his head, so staying cautious was only natural.

"By the way, Alfred… are you a devil?" Sho asked casually.

"No, Master, I am human," Alfred replied. He went on to share a little about himself—how he was an orphan who ended up in the Underworld as a mere slave before fate somehow led him to Mr. BALDDY's household.

Sho glanced at the time. It was about time for him to head back to the Human World and for that he needed to catch a train. Teleportation circles were out of the question; they required special permission from the Security Bureau. Only noble families had the privilege of using direct teleportation between the Underworld and Human World without the so-called permission. As for forceful teleportation, that was far too risky to even consider since it's considered illegal. For now, the train was the only legal and safe method of travel.

"Alfred, do we have a car ready? I need to catch the train to the Human World," Sho asked.

"Yes, Master. There are currently two available," Alfred replied.

Following the butler outside, Sho's eyes widened. Parked in the driveway were two black beauties: one a classic roofless Lagonda, and the other a sleek Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster.

"Woo… they're hot," Sho muttered, unable to hide his excitement. He'd always been something of a car enthusiast, and seeing these machines in person made his heart race.

"Give me the keys, Alfred. I'll drive," Sho said with a grin. Alfred handed them over without hesitation. Sho approached the Lamborghini, running his fingers along its smooth surface before sliding the iconic scissor door upward. He sank into the driver's seat, while Alfred took the passenger side.

ROARRR!

The car thundered to life before suddenly sputtering to a stop.

"What happened?" Sho frowned, confused.

"Master, cars in the Underworld don't run on human world known fuels. They use magical energy as fuel. You'll need to channel your energy through the steering wheel to keep it going," Alfred explained calmly.

"Oh… I see."

Sho followed Alfred's instructions, slowly releasing a trickle of magical energy. The wheel absorbed it, faintly glowing, and the Lamborghini's engine rumbled back to life. With a smirk, Sho pressed the red ignition button again and the roar echoed louder than before. Testing himself, he drifted slightly at the turn before launching out of the villa gates.

At first, it felt strange—maintaining a steady flow of energy while focusing on the road. It was like patting his head and rubbing his stomach at the same time. But little by little, he started to get the hang of it.

The scene around him felt like something out of a movie. The long road stretched ahead, empty and silent, both sides lined with towering trees. Shafts of sunlight filtered through the leaves in golden streaks, flashing against the sleek black body of the car. As the engine's roar blended with the whisper of the wind, and he drove straight into the glowing horizon.

After some time, they reached their destination.

Sho bid farewell to Alfred and caught the train back to the Human World.

The ride took around thirty minutes—a reminder of why he wanted teleportation for fast travel. But with it being restricted and mostly reserved for noble families, there wasn't much he could do.

Back in the Human World, the train arrived at the station. Sho slipped away to a secluded spot and used teleportation to return to the warehouse. There, he and his four employees got to work, finishing up their tasks for the day.

Once everything was wrapped up, Sho headed out. Since he had skipped school again, he changed into his uniform to keep up appearances. Deciding to walk home but on his way he soon spotted Issei together with a girl.

"Raynare… No, Yuma Amano. So she finally decided to make her move, huh?" Sho muttered as he watched them talk.

The moment Yuma left, Issei practically bounced with excitement, pumping his fists. "I'm gonna finally see some tities!"

Sho paused for a moment, thinking to himself. Should I inform Azazel about what Raynare is doing, or just let the canon event play out?

He sighed. It's not like he's going to die. Rias will probably save him, so there's no need to interfere. But… I should at least watch it happen live.

With that decided, Sho continued his walk home.

...

Next day

Sho was on his way to school, quietly tailing Issei and Yuuma Amano as the two walked hand-in-hand, looking every bit like a lovey-dovey couple.

"Poor boy," Sho muttered under his breath. "He's probably dreaming about squeezing some boobs… and has no idea today's the day he dies."

Not far from the school gates, the so-called perverted duo—Motohama and Matsuda—spotted Issei with Yuuma. Their eyes went wide, and they practically broke down on the spot.

"H-how could he betray us like this?!" Motohama whimpered, tears streaming down his glasses.

"That bastard! To think our brother-in-arms would get a girlfriend first!" Matsuda shouted dramatically.

Motohama clenched his fists. "Matsuda, let's chase him! If he's already… you know, touching her boobs… maybe, just maybe, he'll let us watch!"

"Yeah! Even just a glimpse of oppai justice is worth it!" Matsuda howled as the two dashed after Issei like starving hyenas.

Near the school gates, Yuuma Amano split off from Issei as he headed inside, excitement still plastered across his face.

Sho also entered the campus, heading toward his class, when he was suddenly stopped by a woman with glasses—the Vice President of Kuoh Academy, Tsubaki Shinra.

"You're Sho Yamato, aren't you?" she asked, her tone calm but firm.

"Yes. Is there a problem?" Sho replied evenly.

"Your class homeroom teacher has called for you," Tsubaki said.

"Why?" Sho asked, a slight frown tugging at his face.

"You'll know once you go." She gave no further explanation, simply gesturing for him to follow.

Sho trailed behind her until they reached the staff room. Once inside, he stood in front of his teacher, who fixed him with a disapproving look.

"You've been absent without giving any reason," the teacher said, tapping the desk lightly. "So tell me, why haven't you been attending?"

"I wasn't well," Sho answered flatly.

"Then bring me the medical report. Every student who is absent for illness is required to submit one."

Sho shrugged. "I don't have it with me now since My previous school never asked for such things, so I didn't think it was necessary here."

The teacher eyed him from head to toe, as if measuring his words. 'He looks innocent …'

"I will let it slide once but rules are rules, I expect your report and an application letter tomorrow."

Sho nodded silently. A report, huh? Well, every problem has a solution. With enough money, even a report can be arranged—fake or not.

Sho left the staff room and returned to class. Everything was the same as ever—students chatting, a few dozing off—but before long, the lunch bell rang. Sho slipped away to his usual spot on the rooftop, the quiet breeze brushing past him.

By now, he had saved up 20 gacha tickets.

"It's gacha time," he muttered, pulling one from his pocket.

In an instant, a glowing machine materialized in front of him. Sho gripped the handle firmly and yanked it down. The screen blinked with bright letters.

Sho raised a brow, staring at the shimmering vials that appeared in front of him.

"A regeneration potion, huh… as long as my head isn't reduced to ash, I can come back. That's… good."

He slipped the items into his inventory, his expression calm, but his eyes gleamed slightly with satisfaction after all Potion weren't that bad of a deal.

Meanwhile, in the Occult Research Clubroom...

"You came quickly," Rias said, standing by the table where a mysterious box sat. Her eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Is something important, Buchou?" Akeno asked, tilting her head, curiosity clear in her voice.

"Wait, Akeno, let Koneko come too," Rias replied.

Soon enough, a soft voice soon followed. "Buchou, is there something important?" It was Koneko Tōjō, the petite white-haired girl, stepping quietly into the room with her usual calm expression.

"It is," Rias confirmed, her eyes sparkling. "We've received a gift from Millicas. He sent this from the Underworld, insisting it's incredibly tasty."

"What is it?" Akeno inquired, leaning closer.

Rias fumbled with the box's tape before finally opening it. Inside, nestled in cooling mist, were several portions of an ice cream that was shaped like a mango.

"Ice cream?" Akeno blinked.

"Yes! Taste it," Rias said, holding one out. "Millicas said it's really good and is currently trending in the Underworld. He even said it was hard to get a box!"

As the sweet, fruity scent drifted into the air, Koneko's nose twitched ever so slightly. Her golden eyes sharpened with interest, and though her expression stayed composed, a tiny trace of drool slipped at the corner of her lips.

'If it smells this good… then how delicious will it actually taste?' she thought, already fighting the urge to reach out first.

As the three of them took a bite simultaneously, the effect was immediate.

Boom! The flavor exploded on their tongues, and suddenly the atmosphere around them seemed to change. For a brief, dreamlike moment, it felt as though they were standing amidst a grove of mango trees, the breeze carrying the sweet aroma of ripened fruit through the air.

"Ara ara… this is actually really good. I wonder who made it," Akeno mused, her voice soft yet playful as she ran her tongue along the ice cream in a slow, teasing lick, savoring every bit of its sweetness.

"Buchou, can I get one more?" Koneko asked bluntly, her usual stoic expression betraying a rare eagerness. She hadn't even realized how quickly her first serving had vanished.

Rias chuckled softly and passed her another without hesitation. "Here, Koneko."

Meanwhile, her own crimson eyes glittered with determination as she took another bite, unable to hide her growing obsession with the flavor. "I don't care how much money it costs… I'll buy the company myself!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with a conviction that made both Akeno and Koneko glance at her in surprise. The rich, addictive taste had already ensnared her completely.

Sho : Achoo!! Is someone talking about me.

School was over, and Sho trailed behind Issei at a distance. The boy had rushed home, only to come out moments later dressed in his best casual outfit—clearly prepared for his long-awaited date with Yuuma Amano.

The date unfolded without incident. They walked together, laughed a little, and wandered through the town like any ordinary couple. Yet, as the sun began to set and the sky turned orange, their steps carried them into the quiet stillness of a park.

"Issei, can I ask you something?" Yuuma's voice was soft, almost shy, as she looked up at him with her usual sweet smile.

"Yes! Anything!" Issei replied a little too quickly, his thoughts racing with excitement. Is she finally going to ask me to squeeze her boobs?!

Yuuma leaned in closer, her lips brushing near his ear as she whispered words that froze him in place. "Could you die for me?"

"…Huh?" Issei blinked, stumbling back as he rubbed his ear, wondering if he'd misheard. But the truth revealed itself in the next instant.

Yuuma's body began to shimmer and distort before his eyes, her innocent form twisting and morphing. In seconds, the cute girlfriend was gone—replaced by a voluptuous woman clad in tight black latex type Clothes or maybe undergarments, that barely concealed her curves. From her back spread a pair of pitch-black wings, dark and menacing against the glow of the setting sun.

Issei's heart pounded. For a brief, shameful moment, his eyes widened in awe. "B-Boobies…?" he muttered under his breath—before reality slammed back into him. "Wait—no! What's going on?!"

While Sho was perched on the sturdy branch of a nearby tree with his stealth cloak wrapped around him, hidden from view. His gaze was fixed on the unfolding scene clearly enjoying the scene, and a faint smirk tugged at his lips.

"That's why they say… don't chase after women too much," he muttered to himself, his tone dry and mocking. "You never know when one of them might turn out to be completely crazy."
