After listening to Professor Drain's words each student went inside some floating cabins, whose shell was long and somewhat resembled a sumptuous carriage, but each cabin had a capacity for 20 students, upon entering, four tables with comfortable seats around them could be seen. Mart looked at the base of the table and the elegant chairs, to see if they were fixed and they were not.
"Is this safe?" wondered Mart," but a short time later the attractive Professor Helen came in and pulled out a comfortable chair and sat down to read a magazine.
"I suppose it must be safe," Mart sat down and Selis hurried to take the seat beside him, on the other side sat Asfil in whose cool attitude Mart could appreciate that she was hiding her dissatisfaction and possible anger; in the end, as there were more classmates nearby he preferred to put it off until later, as she had been acting that way for about three days now.
Mart took out a map of the regions explored at the foot of the mountain, to corroborate all the useful information he had noted down about the dangerous places, the places of difficult access and the places with more resources.
"At least I won't die for lack of information," he expressed in his mind with sarcasm and then put the map away looked at Selis and whispered in her ear:
-Can I kiss you?
-Here... Here, there are many people here. -Selis' face turned red as he answered.
[Inciting a beautiful pure young woman: reward]
"Wow, this is like having a reward dispenser; mmm sorry, I'm not like that," Marc thought as he smiled.
In the end, Mart only kissed the back of Selis's hand and then closed his eyes to practice the different spells he had studied, reciting them step by step to make sure he hadn't forgotten anything.
The demonic words came together to form complex demonic diagrams that were dismantled before the spells were activated.
Mart repeated the process over and over again, and when he was about to open his eyes, he thought, "I must simplify it further."
Mart looked around. Selis was sleeping on his shoulder, and although the cabin had its own light, through the window he could see a gloomy environment due to a nebulous energy that was gradually covering the skies as they approached.
Many students were looking out the windows, their faces betraying their nervousness.
The atmosphere reminded Mart of the day he had been transmigrated, which had been only recently, but which he had managed to overcome with great dissimulation, to avoid being caught and dying or meeting a horrible end, just as Professor Drian had said.
"I won't deny that this environment is intimidating, but I prepared thoroughly. There are no excuses. I must return and enjoy my life," thought Mart, who had already spent around 500 gold coins on magical artifacts, including demonic wands.
After a few minutes, Mart woke Selis, took her by the hand, and they walked to a corner inside the floating cabin.
Professor Helen watched them for a few seconds, then shook her head and continued reading her magazine.
"What? I haven't done anything yet," thought Mart, noticing Professor Helen's attitude, but in the end, he just ignored her.
Selis was red-faced and her hands were cold. Mart noticed this and hurriedly asked her:
-Do you know the name of that young woman with black hair and blue streaks?
"Why are you asking me that?" she wanted to ask, but she kept the question to herself and hugged Mart tightly. He hugged her waist and dug his fingers in a little. Selis couldn't help but shudder. She felt strange, but Mart didn't seem interested in her, or so she thought, because he asked her again:
-What's that girl's name?
Selis hugged him tighter and said, looking at him with an expression that tried hard to look angry:
-Don't go near her.
Mart smiled, and she felt relieved, but being so close to Selis, he couldn't resist and kissed her. It was a superficial kiss.
-You're too beautiful. -Mart said in his characteristic friendly tone.
She was red, but her heart was beating fast because she was also happy.
-I'm not interested in her; I just need some information. Will you help me?
Selis pouted, but after a few seconds she replied:
-Her name is Nirian Arcariz, she is the daughter of Archduke Vastian Arcariz. When she took the test, her demonic energy was over 40 points, so she must be even stronger now.
Mart couldn't help but be surprised, now he was sure that Nirian Arcariz was a sister or a close relative of Moraf Arcariz; and if she was currently considered talented, he immediately began to think of the possibilities, and the book that Emy had recommended to him came to mind. "A conspiracy; will it be that there was a attack and they eliminated the talented young demons, the first chapter was quite descriptive in mentioning that in long and difficult path of the hero the demon generals fell, and the last one standing to resist with the help of his strength and the best demonic weapons and armor was Moraf, there was no one to support him; the book only mentioned that he fought with a clear desire to defeat the humans he deeply hated; surely something happened, I hope I'm wrong", thought Mart while looking at the shiny and beautiful hair of Selis who had laid her head on his shoulder.
-Let's sit down. -Mart indicated, walking with her towards the seats.
Sitting around the table, Mart felt Asfil's stern gaze. "What's wrong with him? Since the day of the restaurant he is like this", Mart was going to wait, but the atmosphere he could observe through the window made him think that a mistake could be fatal and mistakes came from lack of concentration; so he took out a pen and wrote a note to Asfil and handed it to her immediately, she read the note with the message:
"I hope I didn't do something serious; if I did I apologize; if that's not enough we can talk about it calmly when we get back to the Academy"
A few seconds after delivering the note, Mart thought, "Don't my words sound like a death flag? Ugh"
[Definitely]
"Damn," Mart insulted in his mind.
