Chalice's face first fell when she heard those words from him, and then it hardened as she glared between Gavin, me and Maya, as if blaming us for her misfortune.
She cried; "But it's not my fault. I only wanted to say hello and they were being unnecessarily rude!"
"We weren't. If there was any rude person, it was you!" Maya replied quickly but instantly dropped her head when Caelum turned to glare at her.
"I wasn't the one who came at you so hot for saying hi. Am I?" Chalice cried and when Maya wouldn't respond, for obvious reasons, she added; "Why do you both hate me so much?"
