It's 12:00 AM. The midnight horror begins. The road lights were gone. The cold and silent atmosphere covered the whole alleyway. In front of Kento's apartment there was a car parked. A black BMW. Something's off. The car had some heavy armor. The bumpers had heavy steel covering it. The windshields had a cage layer cover. The car looked as if it's made for a death race. Another car approaching from the other side. It's armed as well.
Scarface gets up. The woman looks at him while he goes near the window. Scarface looks outside and sees the cars. "They're here." He turns around and pulls out the katana. He started walking towards the door. "Stop." The woman stretched her hands and ordered him. "Who's here?" Kento whispers but got ignored. "No need to go out. We will talk and then go out together as a team. Right Kento?" She sits down. "Now settle down gentlemen." Kento sits down. He's too scared to do anything on his own. Scarface stands in front of the window. He holds his katana and keeps a lookout. "Kento Akari right? Nice to meet you Mr. storekeeper." Kento felt uncomfortable and scared. The very look of her made him feel terrified. Kento couldn't understand what was happening. He mumbles - "what do you all want?" The woman laughs and says - "oh boy look at you so innocent. Do you know I hate these types of men who hide their true nature." Nature? What's that? Right now Kento couldn't even speak properly. He's just so terrified of everything. "I don't understand." Kento mumbles. His tone barely reached her. "Fine then I will come to the topic." Scarface looks at her and says - "the heat is getting bad" she looks at him with an annoying face and says - "don't ruin it for me I am just trying to look cool. They won't be getting inside." She smiles and looks at Kento - "so the thing is I have an offer for you Kento Akari." Kento whispers - "what's that?" She smiles. Her smile was like a sharp knife cutting through a man's heart. "Either you join us or give us the fragment." Kento leans back and looks terrified. Even Scarface is looking at him with terror in his eyes. Kento looks at Scarface but doesn't say anything. Suddenly the woman holds his hands. Her eyes closed and she smiles. "Amazing, it is inside you Kento. I am glad we found you."
The cars outside were still there but no one got out. No one came near it. The moment felt intense as time passed away. One of the cars stopped the engine. Scarface's eyes still locked in. The door opens but no one comes out of it. "We should hurry. I can sense there are at least two first grade inside. Worst case scenario we might encounter a commander." As soon as Scarface says it the woman's eyes opened. As soon as she opened her eyes her eye color changed. She looks at Kento and her grip tightened around his hand. He tries to pull his hand away but failed. The woman grips harder and says - "choose now." Kento tried to pull back. Scarface came closer. The woman lets go of his hand and Kento slips backwards. She stood up and pulled out her knives. Two daggers sharp enough to cut through space itself. The blades were shining and the edges were deadly. She stepped forward and says "give it or give up." Her playful and calm appearance changed within a second. "I don't know what you want." Kento crawls back. Scarface draws his katana ready to strike. "Fine then, I will take it as a no." As soon as the woman says it Scarface charged in. Suddenly the ceiling of the room breaks down between Scarface and Kento. Rubble and dust covers the room. Kento stood up and stepped back. The woman didn't even flinch. Scarface looks behind and a gunshot covered the room. His grip around his katana tightens and he swings his sword backwards. The bullet and katana came to contact. He swings it and cuts the bullet and deflects it. His eyes sharp and the cut was so precise the space and the walls around it gets cut too. The woman looks back and says "why would someone choose to shoot an underling when a big dog is standing right between you and him?" The dust cleared up. The smoke disappeared. The one who fired the bullet was none other than Misa. She stepped forward. Two Colt model 1851 in both hands. She looks at her and says "I am not here for you bitch. I am here for that shit head." She points one of her guns forward. Not mentioning Scarface but Kento.
She jumps back and fired two shots. One at Scarface and one at the woman. Scarface swings his sword and cuts the bullet. The woman didn't move an inch and didn't flinch. The bullet suddenly evaporated as soon as it came close to her. She looks at Kento and says "will you join us or should I cut you down?" She becomes more direct and she stepped forward. Misa fired two shots again but this time Scarface jumped between them and blocked it. He charged in. Misa steps backwards and he swings his sword again with great precision. Misa bends down. A perfect split. She points both guns at Scarface's gut. She fires but he blocked them with his katana. She has used this trick and he is now aware of it. He smiles and says "just like old times partner." She spins and kicks him. Misa jumps back and says - "old time huh! The Victor I knew is dead." Victor aka Scarface. He charged in and grabs Misa's neck. Misa was caught off guard and he slams her on the floor. His power was so devastating he breaks the floor and they went down. The woman on the other hand was standing in front of Kento and says - "it's ok there's still time. Choose one Kento." Kento was pinned. Wall behind death ahead. He's breathing heavily. His hands shaking. The woman was holding the knives as she steps closer and closer. She touched Kento's chest and pushed him back. "So it's here." Kento's eyes almost popped out. Something inside him felt different. The woman senses something. She looks aside and suddenly a devastating shot pierced through her neck. An anti-tank shot which was fired from a long distance. Her neck was split into two and she falls down. Kento was frozen at sight now because of all these but he watched the woman was not bleeding instead a black strange aura covered her wounds. Kento couldn't move a muscle his body refused to move any further. He stood there frozen.
"Target neutralized, V you're clear." The barrel of the rifle was leaking smoke. A sniper with a high tech sunglass which had some codes running and a tracker. The rifle's scope looked futuristic. "Hit and run people, hit and run." V was in the stairway of the apartment. Kento runs and exits the apartment. He takes a turn and sees V standing in the stairs. His eyes wide opened. V is in a tactical armor. "Long time no see Kento." Kento steps back and says "why are you here? Who are you with." He steps up and gets closer. Kento looks back, he's pinned in the corner. V steps closer and holds Kento's shoulders. "So what do you think now? Are we the good guys or not?" Kento seems to have a little comfort inside him. He has finally seen the truth. Monica was right. V can be trustworthy. Suddenly the wall breaks. V looked aside and sees Scarface charging in. Scarface swings his sword. V holds Kento and they both dodged. V pushed Kento mid air. V suddenly disappeared midair and Scarface turned backwards. All of a sudden V punched him from behind. The punch was so devastating it made Scarface fly. V teleports midair again and grabbed Scarface by his neck and choked him. "You piece of shit." His tone was furious. His fist started glowing and he slammed Victor on the ground. The impact shook the whole building. Kento watched the devastating fight. Suddenly a shot was fired from behind. Misa jumps across the broken walls and fires at V. V sees the bullet coming and dodged back. Misa gets closer and punched V in his guts. This time V felt it. The punch pushed him back. Scarface was totally busted and wasn't able to move. Misa sees his body and fired two shots at him. The bullet pierced through his motionless body. V smiles and says "ruthless as ever. You modified those bullets didn't you?" Misa doesn't say anything and looks at Kento. V ready to take her down. His fist glows again. Misa ready to reach for Kento. "Everyone can we talk please." Kento mumbles. The moment grew with intense unspoken thrill. Who's gonna make the first move? Suddenly Misa jumped and launched towards Kento. V runs towards Misa his fist ready to launch a blow on her without any hesitation. Kento's eyes stretched open. Two beasts one prey.
"Shift" - a female tone. A voice whispered. Suddenly Kento and V both teleported. Kento falls inside a car and bumps backwards in the seat. Unfortunately for V he was still midair and in an attacking position. He was teleported outside right next to the car and his punch landed on a wall. The devastating punch shattered the wall. He turns back and sees Kento is inside the car with a woman. She was none other than Ema Yui. The ace card. V looks at Ema with confusion. "Get inside V we are leaving." Without any second thoughts he opens the front door and gets in. The driver hits the gas and blows the engine. The car started leaving. Suddenly Misa jumped from the building and landed on the car. She points her guns at Ema. Ready to shoot without hesitation. Suddenly car entered the real dimension. As soon as the car crossed the mirror dimension Misa was left behind and didn't exit with it. She fell from the car and rolled around. She looks at them and realized all this time it was Ema's trick. This whole time they were inside a mirror dimension created by Ema. Misa's mirror dimension covered only a handful amount of area. Ema and V entered it and both left with ease but Misa couldn't because Ema can decide who can enter and not. She's at a different level. Misa stood up she looks up and sees the sky ripping around. She smiles - "well played bitch. Next time he's mine."
