"DOX. Divine Ominous X. 379 years ago a dimension which was opened. A dimension which was gigantic enough to wipe off earth. DOX. The entity which has no physical body, no shadow, an entity that is beyond human knowledge and logic. A force of nature which had control over the void. A being born in the darkness of the void. 379 years ago seven warriors who were also known as the first exterminators defeated DOX within the void. After his defeat the host of DOX was killed by the seven. Leaving behind a fragment. The fragment was stolen by a follower of DOX who is now known as XS. DOX had four horsemen who fought by his side. After his defeat they lost their powers temporarily and decided to live inside the void. Their goal? Revive DOX and rewrite history."
The protection turned off. Ema was telling the whole scenario by far. V , Monica , Rez were sitting. Right in front of the table Kento was sitting. Sho , Mimi and some other members were also listening. Ema sits down. Kento just received an atomic level lecture on history. Kento was looking stunned. He was still looking at the projection. Monica takes out a file and slides it towards Kento. Kento grabs the file and opens it. Ema was sitting patiently and everyone was looking at the file. Kento opens it and sees multiple pictures of individuals. A young high school boy, an old man and many more as he turns the pages. "This is XS." Ema leans forward and says it. Kento looks at her and then looks at the file. Who is XS? The boy or the old man. "Which one of them?" Ema smiles. "All of them." Monica gets up and walked towards him. "XS is seen for decades but we couldn't catch him. We thought that XS had the fragment but now it's with you." Kento muttered - "I guess it's a good thing right?" V looked at him and says - "No it's not. We don't know when it might get fully activated. If it accidentally activates we are all dead." Ema gets up and turns on the projector again. "That's why I am giving you all a new assignment." Monica sits down and the atmosphere became interesting.
The projector turned on and a picture of a warehouse is displayed. "This is the location we have detected XS. We have sent a strike squad but two hours ago we lost all connections with them. Our intelligence suggests that there's a hidden facility under the warehouse."
V gets up and passed a pen drive towards Ema. She inserted it. The location. The squad details popped up. "So here's the plan. Our snipers have confirmed that they haven't noticed anyone getting out so it means the enemy is still inside. A squad will dispatch and we will hit them from inside. Our main objective is rescue and search." V was looking excited and Kento on the other hand was terrified. Monica was looking calm as usual.
Ema sits down and leaned back. The captains and commanders along with Kento wait for her to speak. "V and Kento will go with a strike team. The third ranking officer from the combat unit has also dispatched. He's with the snipers right now." V leans forward and he looked a little concerned. "Why are we taking Kento? He can't even use his energy. If we encounter a horseman he's the first one to die." Kento was shocked. His body trembling in fear. He remembered what happened last time. Yuki almost killed him. Ema smiles. "Trust me V, he will survive. In fact he will walk out as a victorious soldier. Right Kento?" She was gambling. A pure gamble. Kento was in fear but he also felt excited. He found a purpose. He found something to do after a long time. He understands that a person is trusting him. "I... I will try m.. my best." He whispered.
"Excellent."Ema was looking excited and confident. "Alright then. Initiate the dispatch of strike squad. Operation Beehive is now in progress." They all stood up. Kento stands up. The mission begins. The mystery awaits. The secrets are yet to be discovered.
The vast area in the underground bunker becomes busy. People are preparing the cars the helicopters are getting ready. Inside the facility the soldiers are getting ready. Tactical equipments, high tech battle gears. Ema and V were walking towards the arsenal. Kento was following them. Meanwhile Monica and Rez were in the research lab. An announcement was made.
"All authorized commanders are leaving the bunker. Everyone below the captain rank please prepare for lockdown."
Kento walked faster and asked V what was going on? V walked faster and faster. They don't tell him anything. They stopped in front of a hugely constructed steel door. Door number 08X - Arms and equipment. V types the code and the door opens. Kento's eyes were wide opened. The huge room was filled with guns and modern military equipment. They get inside. Kento looks around and gets amazed. V and Ema on the other hand were getting ready. Vest, gloves and some guns.
"These are not ordinary guns Kento.The bullets are modified. Once you use your void energy and infuse with them they become destructive." Ema explained how it works. They only look like traditional military weapons but they are completely different. V takes a huge anti tank sniper rifle on his back. A set of daggers rests in his belt. Two desert eagles. Ema takes a simple knife and a gun. Kento on the other hand stood there surprisingly. He was looking at every gun but couldn't decide. V steps forward and gives him a glock. "This will work for now." His tone felt concerning. Ema throws him a vest. The pre battle preparation is complete.
They made their way to the hanger. The hallway became busy. They were dealing with a sudden assignment. Ema, V and Kento made it to hanger. A aircraft was ready for them. A strike team was ready alongside. Fifteen soldiers. Everyone was ready. Big guns. Some had tactical equipments, some had way more advanced technological weapons. One of the soldiers was holding a gun which looked nothing like traditional military weapons. It looked bulky and sort of like an energy beam launcher.
Ema received a message. "We are in the command centre. Dispatch them and catch up as soon as you can." It was Monica. "On my way." Ema simply nodded while answering.
Kento and V along with the strike team are ready. Suddenly Kento remembers about the third officer. "Where is the third officer?" V puts his hand on his shoulder. "He's already there so move on."
The aircraft was ready. It started. The door opens. "We are ready general." The pilot yelled. Ema nodded. Kento looked at her. He was under extreme pressure. His forehead was sweating. Ema looks at him and she understands. "Don't worry it will be fine. Trust me." She was confident. She was eventually playing a gamble. They boarded in. The upper layers started opening. Kento peaks outside and sees the bunker layers are opening. The aircraft is slowly getting upwards. As soon as the last layer opened Kento saw the night sky after a long time. A full moon night. The sky was clear and the view from the height was amazing. He also noticed the disk shaped floating light again. A green dancing light which was floating right above the bunker.
"So you can see it huh?" V asked him and he was looking curious. Kento didn't say anything. He nodded. The aircraft makes its way out and now it is going to its destination along with the passengers. The bunker layers shut down and Ema looked at them as they were closing. "Return to me please." She whispered. A smile in her face. The moment awaits. The destination is unknown and mysterious.
