The smoke in the dungeon started to clear, revealing a colossal dragon. Crimson scales, with a light brown underbelly. It's head held five grey horns and it had an enormous red whip-like tail.
The system screen appeared before Minho.
[Dragon General, Kamish has been reborn!]
[Kamish does not heed to the Herald of Annihilation's authority!]
[Kamish's respect is extremely dormant!]
[• Main Quest:
- Establish your dominance and tame Kamish.
Reward: +1000 EXP. +500 Destructive Potential.]
Minho stared at it and looked back at the roaring dragon.
Ah-Ra and Jinchul looked at the dragon. It was somewhat familiar. Jinchul's mind tracked back to the first S-rank gate that appeared, and how the National Level Hunters took care of the monster that emerged from it. A dragon. That dragon, was no different from the one that stood right in front of them. Jinchul felt something crawling down his ear. He just wiped it, still left in disbelief by what was ahead.
'Hunter Lee can't do this.' Jinchul thought. 'It took almost all the National Level Hunters to take it down. I want to warn him, but…I can't speak. What sort of fear is this? I feel like I'm not even alive anymore.' He managed to turn to Ah-Ra who was looking straight down, gasping for air like she couldn't breathe at all, trembling uncontrollably. Her ears were bleeding. His eyes widened as he slowly looked at the hand he used to clean what he was feeling in his ear. It was blood.
"Oi, Dragon," Minho called out. "Quiet down for a bit."
Kamish looked down at Minho, it's growl growing deeper. It roared at him, a strong gust of wind came from it, sending Jinchul and Ah-Ra flying into the wall. Minho didn't move, he just simply turned to the two A-rank hunters who were behind him and frowned. A flicker of pity for them touched his soul.
The roar stopped and both of them fell to the ground. It was safe to say they could have a heart attack soon. But the air suddenly grew even colder than it was.
The entire dungeon seemed to hold it's breath. They could see Minho's aura flaring more and more. This immense power, it was coming from him. 'Despite all the oppressing aura this man held…he was still holding back?' Jinchul thought, his whole body feeling numb. 'Who is he?'
The colossal dragon was ready to launch another deafening roar at them.
Minho spoke, his voice low and dead serious, irritation plastered all over his face. His cold crimson glowing eyes glaring at the Dragon. "Kamish,"
A sudden wave hit the entire dungeon. Kamish paused. Jinchul could feel as if a sudden weight had been dropped on him, one that made him feel like he was meant to bow.
"Kamish,"
It grew even heavier. The dragon dropped it's head slightly. Was it fear? He couldn't tell. He started gasping for air just like Ah-Ra, his hands on the floor.
"Kamish,"
Jinchul's nose started to bleed. The problem wasn't the two beings with monstrous aura in front of them. It was the fact that they were enclosed and the pressure kept getting intense by the second.
"I won't want to be repeating myself. So," Minho continued, his eyes narrowing. "Keep it down for a bit."
The silence after that stretched for a few seconds.
[Kamish says how dare you use such petty authority against him and why can the King's presence be felt from your core?!]
Kamish opened it's mouth a giant orb of flames forming. It was about to burn them into ashes. "You really don't respect me at all, huh?" Minho muttered."Since I'll be taking your King's throne for myself…" He raised his head."I'll make sure you do that first,"
Minho raised his clutched hand at the blast, then with a gentle release, he muttered, "Boom."
The orb exploded in Kamish's mouth, sending a scorching heat wave across. Ah-Ra and Jinchul could feel the burn on their skins. Kamish was about to roar when Minho leapt, soaring above it, he connected a sickening heel kick with it's head, sending it into the ground.
He was about landing when a claw suddenly emerged from the dust, going for him. His eyes widened and his summoned his sword - Hell's Blade, striking it back, but it left only a small mark.
He landed on the floor, gritting his teeth. This is the first time since getting the power that he's felt intimidated even with all his system buffs. He lunged forward in a blinding speed, moving across the towering dragon's and landing back on the ground. Marks suddenly appeared on Kamish's scales.
"Now this is one thing I always loved about Helly, here." Minho muttered, snapping his fingers. All the marks shimmered a feint crimson, burning deeper and deeper into Kamish's scales.
Kamish roared, sending a shockwave across the entire dungeon. The marks disappeared.
"Tch." Minho gritted. He then sighed and dismissed Hell's Blade. 'I got this after hitting level 60, but I haven't used it because I feel it'll be dangerous than the normal one. I just hope they can still handle this much.' He thought to himself, turning to the two A-ranks. His eyes widened slightly as he found Ah-Ra already passed out and Jinchul was barely holding himself together, facing the ground.
A loud GRRR came from behind him. He breathed in and out, then turned to Kamish. "Chairman's assistant, if you can still hear me,"
Jinchul barely registered what Minho said, raising his head slightly to look at Minho.
"Keep this between us. Alone." Minho said. Then the system screen came up. The one thing he'd ignored ever since hitting the level 60 benchmark displayed.
[Skill Update: Innate Domain >> Absolute Domain]
[Update] | [Pass]
He selected update. After a second, a new screen came up.
[New Skill (updated): Absolute Domain!]
Cracked his neck, his demeanour becoming icy. The sound of a droplet of water hitting the ground echoed across the dungeon without a source where it came from.
Everything went dark in an instant. No dungeon walls. Just three humans and an enormous dragon, in a void like space.
"So you want me to let go, huh?" Minho's voice echoed across the empty space as he stood between the calamity and the A-rank hunters. His hair fell over his eyes.
For a split second there was nothing, then his aura flared. An astronomical difference between it and the previous.
Jinchul stared, baffled and speechless. The wider space reduced the pressure of the confined dungeon, but this was more terrifying in it's own way.
Kamish took a slow step back as Minho titled his head, revealing an eye, with a deep crimson glow. "You've seen enough right?" His low voice carried. "Now,"
He sluggishly raised a finger at Kamish and flicked it down. "Bow."
An instant pressure forced Kamish down in a bowing position. The force hit Jinchul, pinning him to the ground.
Minho ran a hand through his hair and stared down at the bowing colossal Dragon. "Who's your King now?"
