The next morning.
At 10 a.m., Alex finally woke from his sleep.
Glancing to his side, he saw Anna was already up.
When he walked out into the living room, he spotted Duggan there as well.
The two of them were quietly eating breakfast at the dining table.
Neither had spoken a word until Alex stepped out of the bedroom.
Only then did they both greet him.
He nodded back, then went into the bathroom.
After brushing his teeth, washing his face, and changing into a fresh bulletproof suit, he joined them at the table.
Taking the plate Anna handed him, Alex began eating.
He had only taken two bites when Anna suddenly spoke up.
"Mr. Alex, that serum you gave me yesterday was incredible. I can clearly feel that my condition is much better than before…"
Her words instantly reminded Alex of the [Constitution Repair Serum] he had given her the night before.
He smacked his forehead and quickly opened up Anna's status panel.
[Name: Anna Poliatova]
[Age: 22]
[Height: 178cm]
[Skills: English Proficiency LV4, Russian Proficiency LV5, Stealth & Disguise LV4, Close Combat LV4, Firearms Mastery LV4, Driving LV3, Hacking LV3…]
[Talents: Fast Learning LV5, Adaptability LV4…]
[Flaws: Habit of carrying bags on the left side, poor weight sensitivity with firearms…]
[Note: Her physical flaws have been removed. With a period of professional training, her strength will rise again.]
Sure enough!
Seeing this confirmation, Alex grabbed Anna and kissed her hard.
He had been right—
with proper training, Anna's rank could be raised again.
Becoming a true ace assassin was only a matter of time.
In high spirits, Alex quickly finished his breakfast and led Anna and Duggan out of the room.
Downstairs in the underground training base, he first instructed Duggan to prepare a detailed training plan for Anna.
Then Alex went alone into the tactical training room.
From his personal backpack, he pulled out the last two items:
[Strength Serum (Green)]
[Assassin Youth Training Camp LV1]
He uncorked the vial of green serum without hesitation and downed it in one gulp.
Almost immediately, he felt subtle changes in his muscles and bones. A surge of raw power rushed through his body.
He grabbed a table to test.
The weight that had once strained him now felt light.
Alex grinned in satisfaction and put it down.
Then his eyes turned to the small green badge—the [Training Camp].
Following the instructions, he hung it on the tactical room's door.
A panel appeared:
[Name: Training Camp]
[Level: LV1]
[Effect: After 48 hours, upgrades 10 White-grade assassins into Green-grade assassins.]
Alex signaled a nearby assassin, telling him to bring ten White-grade recruits inside.
As soon as they stepped in, the door shut on its own.
A digital countdown appeared: [47:59:59].
Satisfied, Alex scheduled the remaining 90 White-grade assassins into the queue and left the matter alone.
…
Back in the shooting range, Alex found Anna and Duggan again—just as John Wick came down from upstairs.
To Alex's surprise, Wick actually gave input on Anna's training plan.
Duggan completely agreed with Wick's suggestions.
The two had the kind of mutual respect only warriors could share.
Alex didn't interrupt. He simply stood by quietly until they were done.
"Mr. Wick, thank you for your valuable advice," Alex said sincerely.
"No need. You paid me two million dollars. I'm not the kind of man who takes money and does nothing," Wick replied, waving it off.
He looked to be in good spirits.
And then Susie arrived with even better news—
Caine had arrived in New York and was heading to the Continental.
At the mention of his friend, even Wick's stoic face cracked into a rare smile.
Alex glanced at the time and said with a light grin:
"Mr. Wick, only six hours remain before our contract ends. By then… maybe you and Mr. Caine can sit down and have a good drink together."
For once, Wick chuckled softly. He nodded and replied:
"Yeah~."
