Or, maybe to let her do what she wanted and keep holding on to hope, waiting on what the future was to bring. After all, as odds were as of now, he knew he was the villain _ the one in wrong. And besides, there were still days, two weeks ahead, before the premiere of her album.
In his wary thoughts, Madrat's convinced himself:
"She is going to change her mind. I know how to persuade her!"
The chaos in their moods was calming down now. More relaxed and confident that she had finally messed her husband's plan of leaving her home alone and go out for bad habits, as she convinced her own thoughts in jeolousy, Shee Bah held a simple grin and asked:
"Aren't you going to call Angie...? Or..., your manager maybe? About letting them down? Someone may be very annoyed _ dead angry with you right now!"
Sparking him to sting.
Madrat sat on the bed, hand on the forehead and a gaze on the floor. In a heap of thoughts, speechless, he lifted a wary eye on his wife. This was now provoking him in a petty way. He didn't wait to be joked about. He just lifted his feet off the floor to the bed, covered under the sheets from feet to chest and turned his back on her.
Shee Bah shrugged:
"Oh, don't get mad at me. I was just teasing."
He covered his head away, a sign that clearly said, "do not disturb."

A talk of the city, Angie was. A young woman every male celebrity would wish to date. She was another block buster and more, a beauty every newspaper, buzz magazine, television show never missed to analyse _ call her the hottest cake in today's fashion model world _ mostly noticed in her high class worth by the way she conducted herself.
This communicated why crowds pulled towards her whenever she appeared in public places.
However, Angie had gothered herself a good number of haters as well. Within the shortest period of time, she was a big threat to fellow celebrities specifically models, actresses and more so female musicians, with just a normal reason _ all prominent companies yearned to assign her an advertising deal with a big pay check. Big names in the business game now wanted to associate with her, cutting off other female celebrities.
After all, she was the sure deal _ the voice that spoke, the body that moved and the face that smiled and the consumer buys. Hence a money making machine for entrepreneurs.

Now, here comes an intriguing, a wary on the other hand, that can engender public interest and much debate. Having reached heights of his career, being the most looked up to male in the music industry, pointed out among the most handsome celebrities and in the number one position for that matter, for quite a long time the public had been questioning, with cameras tailing most of his private practices;
"Who could Madrat be dating?"
Open bets involving outstanding amounts of cash were placed. That whoever comes with concrete evidence concerning the woman Madrat was dating if there was any, was to go away with the grand prize.
All along, though it bothered him, he seemed not to care about circulating false rumours which were said against him, initiated by the press majorly.
"He is gay! No, an emasculated man. I have proof! bla bla bla..."
After all, waking up to a false accusation on a good day is part of being a public figure, more so to someone of his calibre.
Publicly, on the other hand though, it worked for him. Every female celebrities dared to get a piece of him, to prove a point and mainly, to make headlines. They tempted him with their perfectly curved bodies. Wealth ladies were willing to pay any amount just to have him for themselves. Madrat's fan base was made up of mostly females, which impacted positively on his career as well. Hence his high demand in the game.
But now, his wife Shee Bah, a female artist who was not that prominent in the limelight, very talented but low selling records, working tirelessly to also have one album that can put her to greater heights, was so determined to make tables turn against him this time.
Not because Shee Bah wanted to use Madrat as a stepping stone to greater heights she was craving, no. She loved him so much that she could stop at nothing to fight anyone who dared to take him away from her. To Shee Bah, loosing Madrat was equal to loosing her own life. Hence the explanation of why she was the listening one without questioning him, to an extent where she submitted to his suggestion; to keep their relationship hidden away from the public eye.
As for her upcoming album to sell, obviously exposing their relationship to the public was a sure deal that could put the album on top of the chats, and put her at the peak of her music career, to greater heights as she had always wished.
But insecurity was the key reason why. To Shee Bah, bringing the relationship infront of cameras was the only option she could think of, that can help her to keep the man.
And whether Madrat was against it now, she had already made up her mind. After all, she had nothing to loose when he has started to front Angie slowly by slowly, showing her out to the public as his hubby, while she is being kept behind closed doors.
*****
Angie's voice was quiet and confidential.
"What do you want now?"
She asked as soon as she responded to a knock on her front door. Madrat, quirking his mouth guiltily, he requested with politeness:
"Am I allowed to come in?"
Without saying a word, Angie walked back, leaving the door open. A sign that the ball was in his coat, to either play or loose it. In other words, she left the choice in his hands.
Madrat humbly walked in. Gently following from behind, coming after her:
"I want to apologise. For my abominable foolishness in keeping you waiting the whole of yesterday. It was idiotic of me and I am so sorry that I did it."
Angie said to him:
"I think I should be the one apologizing. It was idiotic of me to think that I have control over a married man."
Standing shocked, Madrat asked:
"How did you know that I am married?"
Confident, without any panic in the way she carried herself, Angie selected a bottle of red wine from her home wine collection. And as she poured both herself and the guest a glass, she lifted a stunning eye at him and replied:
"How do you think a no body in your life like me can come to know such a confidential?"
She added while serving him his glass of red wine:
"Of course your wife answered your phone and told me; ..... sorry but, you can't reach him now, he is tiredly asleep."
