9:00am in the morning, Shee Bah's phone lighted up on a pop sound, a sign that a fresh message had dropped into her inbox.
When she opened her eyes, they were as bright as a sunny day that late night. She had not slept yet. She looked at the empty space by her side where her husband was meant to be sleeping. It gave a mountain of thoughts. And the mere fact that she had no idea about where he spent a night, it played a big role in elevating her loneliness.
The night was ideed a long one for her, so sleepless.
In night pajamas, she sat up lazily, picked her mobile phone from the side before she could scroll into her inbox. When confronted with the sight of her open inbox, Shee Bah experienced a sudden shiver.
Shocked by what her eyes saw, she got up on her feet, filled with maximum tension. With a piercingly anxious eyes, she looked closely at the phone screen. And now, what started as a lonely humble night, waiting for another day to come, instantly twisted, extending into a mind teemed with a hundred hurts and angers.
Clear pictures of Madrat _ one before falling into Angie's chest, and the second one when he is being held in Angie's chest somewhere that seemed to be a door entrance of a nice residential home.
A text message to show the adress where the photos were taken popped below, right after the pictures. But again, the sender withheld their identity and contact information. On the phone it read:
"Unknown!"
And since desparate times call for desparate measures, what really mattered at this moment of wary was the information sent, not the sender.
Composing her mind from minding why the sender had to hide their identity, back to the point that made her head spin, Shee Bah growled looking at the photos:
"At least I told this bitch that Madrat is a married man!"
What else could Shee Bah do at this hurting point. Sleep had failed completely. The night was becoming longer than she could tolerate when she looked at the clock on her mobile phone. Restless with jeolous, she walked around the room in a heap of thoughts. With her phone in hand, she looked back at that adress. Shee Bah could not take it any more and decided to dress up tightly to attack the cold night.
Nothing played with her kindness like jeolous especially when it came to her husband. He turned out to be the only thing which made her loose herself and became heartless.
As she dresses up on a very angry face, she growls more:
"Can't just be fumbled like a fool."
Resembling a professional assassin, tight black jeans on, a leather jacket and well fitted closed black boots, she stood in the home car garage to make a choice, which one of the cars was fit to leave with, among several she was looking at.
Finally her eyes landed on a ride that was far beyond what she thought of _ a motorbike which stood alone at the corner. On a tough grin she said:
"Fantastic!"
She mounted it, socked her hands properly in black rider gloves, guarded her head inside a black helmet and then ignited the engine. Instead of wringing her hands piteously together and look like a soul in torment, Shee Bah decided to ride out of home with what she thought was a better option, perhaps to confront Angie, together with Madrat.
After all, she had all the rights, as the owner of the husband, to do it. And besides, she was stubborn enough to cause chaos.
Sooner than later, the motorbike glided near the address silently. Regardless of the tight security in the area, Shee Bah was so intent on her ambition that she didn't care about the barking dogs. In a distance, she stopped the motorbike, took off the helmet and looked at the house entrance where the photos were taken.
As she was still spotting, figuring out on how to get in there and start the chaos, a male voice spoke from a wider margin, a bit nearer to where she had parked.
"Are you sure you've set yourself enough to get in there this time of the night?"
Startledly, Shee Bah cursed on a sudden head turn:
"Dammit! Who the hell are you?"
Taking advantage of the night, the dude had stood in a dark position where his face wasn't easily seen. As Shee Bah anxiously tried to eye him keenly to get his face, he started to come out of the shadow slowly, walking towards her.
"Long time no see, Shee Bah!"
He sounded so confident in mentioning her name, obviously proving to her that he knew her much more than she thought. Out of the dark, the dude's face surfaced and on a very surprised shock, Shee Bah blurted:
"Chi koh!"
He chuckled:
"You still behave as stubborn as we last met. I knew that when you know the address, in a blink of an eye you were to be here."
To her disappointment, she asked:
"So, you've been the mystery sender of the pictures? Still deceived by an illusion that you have a chance with me!"
He said as he freely closed the distance in between:
"Just thank me for the job well done. How else would you have known that the so called lover boy is having an affair? That is if it wasn't for me!"
Shee Bah laughed indifferently:
"Thank you? Don't remember asking any of your help! Let's pretend we never met."
She mounted her bike again to leave. In her gesture, she seemed a bit disappointed and angry with Chi koh. Chi koh stood back and watched her. Before she ignited the engine to leave, She turned and looked at him:
"I know why you're doing this. But please, don't poke your nose into my life. Leave me alone Chi koh !"
He got moody in his response:
"He's cheating on you! Perhaps he doesn't love you the same way you do! Why are you so blind to see?"
She replied carelessily:
"My business is non of your business. Am mature enough to make the right decisions."
He asked:
"Then why are you here at this time of the night if he was a right decision?"
"Well, it's not new for men to cheat because you cheated with my best friend too."
She walked closest to his face and added:
"You wanna know why I didn't bother to move late night for you? It's because me and you were not married. With Madrat, me and him are husband and wife if you didn't know. I guess that will speak a lot of sense into you mind!"
Shee Bah put the helmet back on, went to meet the bike, mounted it, ignited the engine and rode off instantly.
Chi koh, watched her leave, he was humbled with the hurtful rejection he had faced in Shee Bah's words. His face smeared with a dejected smile, at the back of his mind:
"You, being married with Madrat, will make good headlines tomorrow!"
