It took him by storm to hear that his wife met her ex boyfriend.
What else could he think of his wife except that both scratched eachother's back, had a good time behind his back.
After all, he had done more harm than good behind her back too. Madrat knew exactly what he has been doing lately. And deep inside, the fact of having committed a bleach of conduct against his marriage haunted him. No sincere way of blaming her for it even if she did cheat on him.
However, seeing her husband hurting was the last thing Shee Bah could thinking of. On a downhearted face, slowly she sat close to him, shoulder to shoulder. As he was still breathing again, recovering from a sudden mind storm, Shee Bah calmly took her time to say to him in a small voice:
"It was my ex. All along I didn't know who inboxed me the pictures that got me jealous. It turned out that Chi koh was behind sending them."
With an inquisitive gesture, Madrat turned and took a clear gaze at his wife. When he looked at her, she expressed humbleness saying:
"You know how he used to stalk me back in the days before I had met you. And how he started acting when he found out that I had met someone, and I was dating again! And when he got to know that it was you I was dating, it was like the worst nightmare I've ever experienced _ to an extent that I had to change my phone lines!"
Shee Bah sighed in wary:
"You know how many times your security kept blocking him from accessing us! He had become a tiny thone in my foot, leaving us no choice except to report to the law. And after giving him a restriction order, since then, I got to feel my heart beating normally, back in a safer position. Chaos stopped and both of us thought Chi koh had left us alone. Not until last night when it came to my notice that he has been watching every move you make and every step you take."
Quickly Shee Bah got her phone and opened her inbox:
"Look, he set me this at 3am!"
To Madrat's sudden shock, he was exposed to pictures of him with Angie, at Angie's door, earlier yesterday evening.
This was when he came to know that he has nothing at all to lie about. His wife, perhaps knows more than he actually thought. What else was left for Madrat to hide infront of his wife, except the sorry guilty look in his eyes for what he has been doing behind her back.
However, making him feel guilty was not Shee Bah's intention.
She said to him:
"I wasn't going to show these pictures to you in the first place. Infact, I wanted to confront Angie. To ask her woman to woman, to stop seeing my husband. I wanted to let her know that am pregnant for you. Maybe, that alone would touch her heart to rethink her choices, however much I feel it deep that she may not care."
She added:
"But, I messed up when I got to Angie's home at 4am today."
All ears, Madrat listened more attentively to how she claims to have messed up.
Looking bothered, she said:
"Chi koh knows the level at which I loose my focus. He knew that as soon as I receive the address, I will be on Angie's door steps. So, after sending these pictures, he sent the address as well. Having not known that he was the one behind this, I fulfilled his plans."
In a very regretful voice and gesture she added:
"I did know he was also waiting for me there by that time of the night. He tried to trigger my emotions, speaking ill against you to hurt me!And out of anger, I showed him my ring, told him you're my husband and we're married."
Tears began rolling down, saying to him:
"I am so sorry I got my mouth loose. I know that fool is going to sell the information to the news outlets...."
Madrat sighed in wary:
"It's all my fault. It's me who failed to protect us. I should be the one apologizing to you right now!"
He added:
"Am not going to stop Chi koh. If it's the price I have to pay for this, then let the public know that we are married."
In an open-mouthed gaze, Shee Bah couldn't believe her ears. Her thoughts began to run otherwise.
"Doesn't he care about our relationship anymore? Why is it okay now?"
She started to feel insecure, developing a toxic mind:
"Can the public accept me as his wife? Of course not! They will choose Angie over me for him! His fans will start abusing me, talking down on me, comparing me to Angie and showing him how am not worthy being his wife! What will happen next? Of course chaos will escalate between us, kick me out and marry Angie instead!"
Shee Bah started imagining Angie pregnant:
"And of course her pregnancy will be all over the news making headlines! Angie's baby will be more loved, cherished and privileged than mine, although mine will be his first born! Both of them will be a known happy couple ever after! And I will be out there suffering as a marriage failure _ a single mother in tears!"
Sitting right close to him, in vivid images created in her mind, Shee Bah saw all the above happening in a blink.
Suddenly out loud, blurting with eyes widely open:
"Oh my goodness, I can't allow it to happen!"
Madrat turned, carrying a wondering gaze:
"Allow what?"
"We must stop Chi koh from reporting to the news outlets!"
According to how Shee Bah was behaving, it got Madrat confused, trying to understand her.
He asked:
"Is everything okay?"
"Nothing is okay sweetheart! Let's pay him if that's what he needs, but telling the public about us, that must not happen!"
All along, Madrat thought that it was his wife's healthy dream to let the public know that they were both a married couple. Quite confusing, he doesn't get it why now she's acting up, so strict, ready to pay for their relationship not to be exposed.
"Stop thinking, let's act fast!"
He shrugged:
"Alright, I'll see what to do!"
Caught in puzzles, watching how outrageous his wife was behaving, he asked her to call Chi koh and put him on a loud speaker. Straightaway, without a second thought, she went through her phone detail, tracing and dialed:
Screen!
"Chi koh!"
