Chapter 28 - Chapter 28 — The Program: Unify the Ninja World

"Then, let's start the very first meeting of the Red Sun Society."

Naruto found a large classroom to use.

Standing at the podium, he looked down at Uchiha Shisui and Uchiha Itachi, who were sitting in the front row like two grade school students.

"First, we need to establish our philosophy and guiding program."

He picked up a piece of chalk and wrote a big sentence on the blackboard:

"What is the Will of Fire?"

Naruto tapped the board with his pointer.

Shisui and Itachi both looked puzzled.

The Will of Fire? Did that really need an explanation?

The Third Hokage preached it almost every single day. Everyone in Konoha — even little kids — could recite it by heart.

"The Will of Fire says: Wherever the leaves fly, the fire will keep burning. The fire will continue to illuminate the village and cause new leaves to sprout."

Itachi repeated the words perfectly, without hesitation. He had believed them deeply.

Naruto nodded. "Right. As the saying goes, this Will of Fire is the official philosophy of Konoha. Countless shinobi follow it, ready to sacrifice their lives for the village."

"They believe their burning light will keep Konoha alive, and that new generations will rise to carry it forward."

Shisui and Itachi nodded. They had believed it, too.

Naruto's expression hardened. "But let me ask you this — what exactly is the fire? What are the leaves? And after the fire burns out, what do those new leaves really represent?"

The two Uchihas froze.

They knew what the Will of Fire was supposed to mean, but if broken down and questioned piece by piece — they couldn't answer.

Naruto continued. "Konoha was founded by the Senju clan and the Uchiha clan. The 'leaves' represent the Senju. The 'fire' represents the Uchiha. Together, that's the origin of the so-called Will of Fire."

"When you talk about ideals, you can't just throw around poetic lines. You need to dig out the roots — show people what the idea really means, why it exists, and what its result will be."

"The current leadership of Konoha has twisted it completely. They've ruined something that was once pure."

He raised his voice. "Take Konoha's White Fang, Sakumo Hatake. You both know his story. Was the mission more important than his comrades? Nonsense!"

"The Will of Fire says it clearly — burn yourself to give light, so new leaves can sprout. That means protecting your companions so the future can grow. A mission can be retried, but once someone dies, they're gone forever."

He pointed at Shisui. "And Shisui, you're what, fourteen?"

"Fourteen," Shisui nodded.

"Exactly. You're young, a sapling of Konoha, the future. But Danzo — an old relic — wanted to destroy you just to feed his own ambition. Does that sound like the Will of Fire to you? Ridiculous!"

"No — Konoha's top brass has rotted. They're outdated trash waiting to be swept away by history."

Naruto's words spilled out with passion, shaking both Uchiha geniuses to their core.

They couldn't help but take out notebooks, scribbling down his every word.

All their lives, they'd been taught that shinobi were just tools. Tools to obey orders. Tools to complete missions. Even if those orders were wrong, a shinobi's job was to follow.

No independent thought. No freedom.

That's why Shisui had been ready to throw his life away after Danzo stole his eye. That's why Itachi had obeyed the order to massacre his clan.

They were prisoners inside the cage of what it meant to be a "ninja."

But Naruto's words smashed that cage apart. He opened their eyes to the possibility of a world beyond the role of "tools."

Naruto grinned. "So then, what's the philosophy of the Red Sun Society?"

He slammed his hand down. "Peace! Peace in the ninja world!"

"But peace isn't simple. There's the peace of Konoha. The peace of Sunagakure. The peace of the Cloud, Mist, and Stone. And beyond the great villages, the peace of smaller nations, countless families, and countless individuals."

"All of these threads weave together to form the ninja world."

"For example, when the Five Great Nations wage war, they often choose Rain as their battlefield. To them, that's 'peace' — but to Rain, it's ruin. They lose peace so that others can have it."

"At times like that, what choice should be made? Sacrifice Rain's peace for the sake of the five nations? Or fight the five nations for Rain, creating an even bigger war?"

"It all comes down to weighing the greater good."

Naruto looked the two Uchihas straight in the eyes. "So how do we achieve true peace?"

"Simple." He tapped the blackboard and wrote in bold letters:

Unify the Ninja World.

Shisui and Itachi froze, stunned by the sheer audacity of his words.

Naruto's gaze burned with conviction. "That is the ultimate goal of the Red Sun Society."

Then he smirked. "But first, let's start small — let's make Konoha truly peaceful."
