"Hey, you looked like you were attacked by a bear" Kelly teased as soon as she saw Maya looking so lost "I got invited to Ariana's party" Maya blurted out "omg!!! Gurl that's good at least I don't have to be alone" Kelly was actually enjoying it "there's no way in hell am going and you know that" Maya stated bluntly "ouch that hurts, come on!! It's gonna be fun, she probably just emailed everyone in our class, so what's the big deal, it's gonna be fun, Ariana throws the best party" Kelly ranted "you have to come" she continued "no, I don't have what to wear" Maya gave an excuse hoping it'll work "the party is on Saturday you can come to my house this evening and I'll give you something that'll fit" Kelly suggested Maya could only let out a frustrated groan she had to agree for Kelly but she doesn't feel right about it "okay I'll think about it let's go to class now" Maya said as she lazily dragged Kelly to class.
Meanwhile Xavier was still clearly avoiding Adrian, but he knew he couldn't do that for ever, he just couldn't stay mad at his best friend for ever so he had to go talk to him.
"Look who it is, where have you been my man" Gabriel said as he noticed Xavier walk into their den "Honestly Xavier have you got a girlfriend? You seem so occupied lately, when was the last time you had launch with us?" Reed pointed out "maybe he is actually with that girl he saved yesterday" Matt teased then the three boys started laughing, Adrian just kept quiet observing Xavier, 'there was no way Xavier liked Maya right?' he thought "hey man let's talk" Xavier said as he approached Adrian, ignoring the jokes his friend cracked "sure" Adrian said as they both shifted to a corner "so are you done ignoring me?" Adrian asked nonchalantly like he wasn't hurt but he was "you have to stop being irresponsible" Xavier warned "since when do you care about who, how and when I bully people huh?" Adrian asked confused "maybe now that you nearly killed someone" Xavier half yelled "that gas wasn't going to kill her, so stop over reacting" Adrian said obviously annoyed "you don't like her right? I mean there's no way you like my nemesis, besides she is even a low class" Adrian was actually suspecting something but just wasn't sure "if I like someone, you will be the first to know man, I was just worried you might end up in trouble if anything had happened to her" he lied, Xavier wasn't even sure yet of what he felt for Maya but he couldn't tell Adrian anything yet, so he doesn't have to choose "whatever man" Adrian said as he tapped him lightly on the shoulder then casually stride back to his spot "alright kids we are having class in few minutes settle down" Reed shouted imitating the teacher, then they all left for class.
While the English teacher was busy teaching, Maya seemed lost "hey what are you thinking of" Kelly tapped Maya noticing she had zoned out "um... I was just wondering, where do other of our class mates stays during class" Maya asked eagerly curious as to how Xavier had never appeared in class "Special elite class, very rich students like Adrian and Ariana and a few other take those classes, while there's another class for students having issues coping with their studies, we call it the babies class" Kelly explained, maybe Xavier might be having trouble with his studies after all not handsome boys are smart, Maya thought.
As soon as the class came to an end, Maya immediately headed to the principal's office, and within a while she found her self standing in front of those same doors, ready to make a move she wasn't sure if it was right but all she wanted to do was to get back at Adrian Cole. "come in" she had principal's Harrington's voice from the inside, with deep breaths she walked inside, "glad to have you in my office again Maya, how may I help" he asked calmly then Maya proceded to tell him everything and her near death experience. Principal Harrington was utterly shocked, he did knew people was bullied in this school, he knew Adrian was also a feared student and bullies others but he never saw it as life threatening and he knew Maya wasn't the knid to tolerate injustice he didn't want any chaos that would stain the schools name and he also couldn't afford to offend Adrian Cole with a harsh punishment he had to be careful, with a sigh he said "miss Summer I have heard what you had said and I am not sure Adrian is behind all this, after all there is no solid evidence" he said trying to sound logis "what this is no court of law it's a school, where a students sanity and health is in danger and you are looking for proof" Maya just couldn't believe her ears "alright I'll send words to his guidance and this will be properly investigated" principal Harrington said dismissing her. Maya left his office not fully satisfied, she had to do something on her own.
"Hello, good morning sir, how is everything going" principal Harrington said as he phoned Mr Victor immediately after Maya's report "fine thank you, I am so glad you called I've been meaning to talk about Adrian but am always to busy" Victor said with a sigh "I have also called to talk about him" the principal said then went on to narrate the complaint Maya had laid. Victors face had already turned darker, rage and disappointment cursing through his veins "although there is no proof of what she is saying so If you want I can have the case closed, although we all know he gets off on bullying" principal Hartington concluded "have the complaints sealed I'll deal with my own son my self" Victor ordered then hanged up. He was currently on a working trip to the UK but now he had to wrap things up as soon as possible 'I'll just have to shape that useless kid into a meaningful person myself' he muttered to himself.
