Both Kelly and Ariana was shocked to find Maya in class few minutes after the principal had declared her innocent.

"Hey, am so glad they didn't expell you, I knew you were innocent" Xavier said with a smile, Maya could only return it back
"Poor people will actually do anything only when they have no dignity, I don't have money but I've got my dignity at least" Maya said
"Does Ariana have any reason to be doing this to you..... I know she's behind it all" Xavier asked he was concerned
"For all I know, she is a lunatic and I don't want to talk about her" Maya sighed. Just when Maya was leaving Kelly suddenly approached her, bumping into her, Maya's bag drooped
"Oh I'm so sorry, let me get it for you!" Kelly exclaimed as she bent down to pick up Maya's bag
"Wow Maya where did you get such a beautiful bracelet, its really pretty" Kelly said as she picked up Xavier's bracelet, shocking both of them
"What.... How?" Maya stuttered, she knew Xavier was looking for this but she had no idea how it got into her bag
"If you really wanted it you could have just asked rather than steal it" Xavier chimed in, he just snatched the bracelet and stormed of clearly upset, Kelly tried hard to hide the smile on her face, she knew Xavier was upset with Maya this was the perfect time to get into his head with negative ideas about Maya.
"I have no idea how it got in my bag" Maya tried to explain
"Doesn't matter Maya, I know you haven't seen such expensive jewellery but.... I don't know Maya just give him a break, he'll come around don't worry" Kelly said giving her a smile then she walked away.
Leaving Maya standing and wondering what was happening, she knew Ariana was trying to get at her, but why was she dragging Xavier into it, Maya was still thinking when her phone beeped, it was a message from Ariana, she wanted to meet.

Ariana and Maya was sitting at a local coffee shop, having a cup of coffee together.
"Why did you call me here" Maya asked
"Don't play dumb, you know why you are here, Maya you have refused to keep to the end of our bargain....." Ariana said
"I won't let you get the benefit of breaking me Ariana" Maya said, her eyes burning with bold, unwavering confidence
"Oh really? Well the only luck you have is that one week isn't over yet" Ariana said
"Why are you even doing this?" Maya asked, and honestly Maya had absolutely no idea why Ariana was doing this to her afterall Ariana was already Adrian's fiance so why the insecure feeling.
"Let us just say.... I hate you Maya, for a lot of reasons, one because you refuse to submit, you always want to prove how bold and fearless you are, talking back at anyone you like" Ariana said
"Only when I'm faced with injustice" Maya defended
"The rich and wealthy people will always bully poor people like you, why can't you just accept your fate, ugh its exhausting" Ariana sighed dramatically
"Oh and besides I think my stupid fiance has a thing for you, he seem to be attracted and I don't like it" she added
"You are crazy, how is it my concern if he has a thing for me and not you" Maya retorted, she knew Ariana was jealous, but she was having double feelings, a part of her was frustrated Ariana was taking it out on her, and another part of her was delighted to know that maybe Adrian really has a thing for her.
"So why did you frame me with Xavier's bracelet?" Maya asked
"Oh about that, I didn't do anything..... Not literally but we don't want you around either Xavier and Adrian please stay away or I'll be forced to make you stay away" Ariana said
"What do you mean by 'we'?" Maya asked, raising her eyebrows
"The entire School.... Duhh" she said, then a little pause, Maya just sighed, she thought Ariana was really mentally sick and needed a check up
"OK so let me summarise all this, you are blackmailing me with my nude picture which you illegally got, only because you feel superior to me and want me to submit and also because your boyfriend likes me and I'm friends with his best friend" Maya said thoughtfully
"Yes and I swear on my mother, Maya I only give you a week to leave CrestWood, or else that picture will be everywhere on the Internet and don't forget I'm invincible" she said with a grin.
"Miss Lancaster, you really are above the law... But I'm smarter" Maya said with a smirk, leaving Ariana utterly confused
"You little bitch I'll make your life miserable, I might just post it now" Ariana threatened
"You won't, because you are yet to accomplish something, you want to make both Adrian and Xavier hate me first" Maya said with a smile on her face, Ariana knew Maya was right she was just amazed how smart and quick Maya was able to read her plan easily.
"You are right, not now but very soon" Ariana said
"OK.... Until then just..... Fuck off Ariana, too many power has made you less smart" Maya said, grabbed her purse and left immediately. Ariana just sat there gritting her teeth in rage.
As soon as Maya got out of the coffee shop she booked a cab and headed straight to Adrian's house, Maya wasn't the kind to back down or let others tramble against her because of money. But Maya was clearly not in cheek of her emotions or feelings towards Adrian, she still hadn't forgotten seeing him drunk and the urge she felt to show him what love felt like. But she was in a battle with herself.
Maya knew very well that Ariana wasn't working alone she had an ally and she wanted to figure it out.

"Why do you think Maya would have done it?" Xavier asked, he was with Kelly because he felt guilty for how he reacted seeing Maya with his bracelet
"Maybe because its who she is, she is a low class, I know you like her but when liking someone there's things we have to consider like the kind of family she came from and what she is fond of" Kelly said, this time around she was hell bent on changing Xavier's perspective on Maya.
