Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 : My Private Time with Lady Funina

"Pfft~" Alex couldn't help but laugh out loud.

In Teyvat, that phrase should still be used in a broader sense. But in Alex's hometown, being a wife and being a dog are not contradictory at all.

"What are you laughing at?" Furina, who had been watching Alex, noticed his movement immediately and asked through gritted teeth, full of anger: "How do you explain this, Mr. Alex?!"

"Alright, then let me add another line?" Alex simply pinned his Vision to his chest; there was no time to confirm its abilities now.

"I, Alex, am willing to be your dog! And I will stand by your side, accompanying you, for all eternity! Until death do us part!"

"Oh, what are you doing?!"

Hearing Alex's words again, Furina began to develop some resistance, but she still couldn't quite handle it, and she was still a bit annoyed, feeling as if her punch had landed on cotton.

"I, I know!" Furina quickly interrupted, afraid Alex would never stop talking.

Although Furina wanted to run home and hide under her covers at this moment, she saw the crowd below whispering to each other.

As the nominal god, it was time for her to step forward and say something.

So Furina cleared her throat and quickly composed herself.

"My people, yes, yes! Just as you see! The protective feelings in this Traveler's heart are worthy of my approval!" Furina spread her right hand towards Alex.

"Although he has obtained a Vision because of this, that does not mean that the god has agreed to his words! Furthermore, how could a god possibly fall in love with a mortal?!"

"Impossible, no matter how you think about it, it's impossible!" Furina crossed her arms over her chest, shaking her head repeatedly.

"Exactly, exactly, how could a god respond?!" One or two people who also had feelings for Furina but dared not confess, instantly felt their painful jealousy improve.

Alex heard them too, and his gaze swept over. Ugh, these people just looked like ordinary passersby, there was even a chubby one, but I'll remember them!

Can't be with a mortal... Indeed, at least all gods are long-lived beings, and he didn't even know if he could achieve that with this phone.

"So! I'm not human anymore, Furina!" Alex let out his final, somewhat unwilling roar!

"You, you shut up!!!" Furina finally leaned forward, clenching her fists, and angrily shouted at Alex... "The Steambird: Lady Furina actually did this in the Opera House!"

"Fontaine's new popular saying: I want to be your dog!"

"A mysterious young man did this, and a Vision descended!"

"New play 'I Want to Be the God's Dog!' is recruiting! Don't miss this rare opportunity, sign up quickly!"

Early in the morning, the entire streets of Fontaine were bustling and noisy. Almost everyone was discussing yesterday's events.

In a slightly secluded and uninhabited area, a white-haired, heterochromatic Damselette wearing a top hat and sporting a large, silly tuft of hair cautiously looked left and right.

Then she raised her head and looked down at the black-haired young man who was crouching in stealth: "Little Black, follow."

"Yes, Master Furina!" Alex immediately replied.

You ask what's going on now? Alex recalled yesterday.

The trial then concluded with a "Seal, shut up."

The heroine Furina slipped away with Clorinde in a flash.

As Neuvillette announced the adjournment, everyone quickly exited, eager to share what they had seen and heard with friends and family who couldn't squeeze into the Opera House.

The square outside the Opera House was also packed with people, waiting for the results from inside.

Alex saw Furina leave, and Neuvillette, after speaking from above, also vanished in a blink.

It seemed no one cared about him, the male lead.

"Haha! I'm free again!" Alex turned his head, feeling joyful, and saw a pink-haired girl wearing a hat.

When the pink-haired girl saw Alex turn to look at her, she instantly smiled, narrowing her eyes: "Hello, I'm Charlotte, a reporter for The Steambird. Do you have time for a special interview?"

"Wow! Hello, Charlotte! I know you~" Counting it, Charlotte was the first Fontainian to interact closely with our Traveler. Although it was during an event.

"Hehehe, is that so? I didn't expect..." Charlotte was about to be polite.

A swift figure, flashing with lightning, appeared beside Alex, then tripped him, making Alex lose his balance. With a bend of her arm, she effortlessly picked up the bewildered Alex.

Then the figure quickly left, glancing at Charlotte as she passed.

Watching her target slowly walk away, Charlotte could do nothing; after all, it was Clorinde: "Oh dear, this is troublesome. I'll just have to find another time."

Opera Epiclese, a relatively secluded dressing room. Furina sat on a tall, red, throne prop, with yellow light shining on her from the side.

Furina rested her right hand on her head, her left leg crossed over her right. She looked at Alex, whom Clorinde had brought back.

"Well, now it's just the two of us."

After Clorinde brought him here, at Furina's silent command, she placed her right hand on her chest and retreated behind the door, closing it.

Furina's words pulled Alex back from his slight recollection of the feeling of being touched by a big, big body. Although his posture looked embarrassing to outsiders, Alex was still a bit reluctant to let go.

Looking at Furina, who had adopted a majestic posture, ready to interrogate him, Alex felt a little embarrassed again afterwards, and he responded with an "Eh, hehe."

"Tell me, your true identity!"

"Huh? Didn't I just tell you everything?" Alex's heart skipped a beat. Even if he were asked to repeat the identity he'd just given, he probably wouldn't remember it; he'd forgotten it as soon as he said it.

"But I don't see any residual power on you, except for the Vision you just obtained." Furina confirmed, after all, Clorinde had captured him so easily and brought him in by simply carrying him.

"Alright, I admit it." Alex sighed and said helplessly, "In our world, I'm just an ordinary person, nothing special. There are no Immortal Emperors, no Demon Kings; those are all settings in our novels and animations."

"Oh?" Furina's expression paused, and she looked at him with a scrutinizing gaze.

Hmph, I was right after all. He actually thought he could deceive my eyes!

"Or rather, in that world, all of us are ordinary people, without any power to use elements. So I don't know why I came here?"

"And why did I obtain a Vision in this world?" This is a lie! The secret of the phone must be kept.

"Is that so?" Furina saw Alex starting to look sad and changed the subject: "Then, why did you want to say those two sentences – you know what I'm referring to! And why did you dare to make your voice so loud!"

Now that they were alone, without the interference of other spectators, Furina's mood had relaxed and adjusted. She still wanted to truly ask Alex why he did it; she always felt he was hiding something.

"Hmm..." Alex frowned, awkwardly pulling out the culprit, the megaphone, from his phone's backpack.

"It's all its fault, but now it's just a normal megaphone."

Saying that, Alex picked up the megaphone: "Hello, hello, can you hear me?"

"Alright, don't speak so loudly!" Furina was startled by Alex's actions, her sitting posture even shifting to a normal, relaxed state.

Realizing her slip, Furina quickly adjusted herself again: "Ahem, this is our private conversation time, quickly put that megaphone away!"

"Then you say you're from outside this world, yet how do you know my name? And even call me 'wife' and 'dog'?"

It came back to this again. Hmm, the most difficult question since his transmigration was now before Alex.

Indeed, it was already very difficult to muddle through the trial just now, in front of so many people.

Now, face to face, alone with his favorite character asking questions, Alex really wanted to tell her everything. But... "In our world, although there's no power, our technology is more advanced than yours in Fontaine. So it's normal for us to be connected to a world called the Mi-Universe, isn't it?"

"Mm." Furina's eyes signaled him to continue.

"The starry sky of Teyvat is fake."

"Huh?" Furina actually showed a moment of surprise.

"It is widely known that beyond the starry sky, there are many, many world bubbles, some large and some small. Each world bubble contains a world. And Teyvat is one of the largest."

Furina's mouth began to slightly open; she wasn't sure if what Alex said was true. But he was speaking so seriously and earnestly.

Furina nodded in agreement: "Indeed, indeed, as a god, I naturally know this."

"Huh?" Furina's words made Alex exclaim in surprise again.
