"Ding-dong~!"
Alex pulled it out of his backpack and held it in his hand.
"?" Lumine looked confused, then asked Alex, "Why did you suddenly take that out?"
"Hehe~ What else could it be for? Of course, it's… to call someone!" Alex said, putting the horn of past events to his mouth.
This horn now had an additional function: no matter where the other person was, even thousands of miles away, he could direct his shouts.
No longer did he have to worry about others hearing, and it wouldn't disturb the residents!
You tell me, if they had given me this at the very beginning, would my start have been like that?
Would it have been like that!!! Otherwise, I might have had even more wives, seriously… Alex took a deep breath and then shouted: "Venti, Venti, Venti!!! Come to Stormterror's Lair, Stormterror's Lair."
Somewhere in Mondstadt, Venti, who was sprawled drunkenly on a table, suddenly jumped.
What's happening, what's happening!
Venti looked around and saw that those around him, also sprawled like drunkards, seemed oblivious, as if they hadn't heard the shouting in his ear.
"Hurry up, hurry up!" Alex's urging sounded in Venti's ear again.
Venti still looked left and right, finding that no one around him was disturbed by the noisy sound, so it must be that only he could hear it.
What is he shouting about so late at night!!! Seriously, good thing he wasn't confessing to him, and good thing he wasn't shouting at him with a loudspeaker across the entire city.
"Tomorrow, I'll treat you to a drink!" It wasn't until this sentence echoed in his ear that Venti looked around, saw no one paying attention, and then simply vanished.
"Ven…" Alex was about to continue shouting.
But Venti directly pulled down the arm holding the horn. Then he said, "Alright, alright. Haven't I arrived now~"
Alex immediately grinned and gave a thumbs-up to Lumine, who was holding her forehead beside him.
See! I told you. The loudspeaker works! One call, and it's a hit!
In the future, if he couldn't find anyone, he would just make a one-way call and have him or her come directly to him.
After interrupting Alex, Venti realized that Alex wasn't the only one there.
Lumine was beside him, but Paimon, who usually floated beside her, wasn't here.
"Alright, so, what do you two want with me, not sleeping so late at night, coming all the way here?" Venti said, crossing his arms and looking at the two.
"Ask him." Lumine spoke first, pointing at Alex.
And Venti also focused his main gaze on Alex.
Alex, however, tilted the thumb he had been gesturing to Lumine directly, pointing it at the wind wall in front of Stormterror's Lair.
"Uh… you want me to come and deal with this wind wall?" Venti looked at the wind wall, then at Alex.
"Yes!" Alex nodded vigorously.
Venti put his hands on his hips, a little speechless: "This is a wind wall, did you forget something!"
"Huh?" Alex was confused by Venti's reaction. He thought carefully, and no, it was Venti who came to remove the wind wall for everyone.
Thinking this, Alex tilted his head, looking at Venti with a puzzled expression.
"The Anemo! The Gnosis!" Venti's eyelids drooped a little, showing his current speechless mood.
"Ah? You need the power of the Gnosis… I can give it back to you, but you have to give me at least… I'll give you a friendly price, take it back for 30,000 Primogems." Alex said at the end, taking the gnosis of anemo out of his backpack and holding up three fingers.
"Oh, Venti doesn't mean that." Even the intelligent Lumine beside him understood after Venti's hint.
Under Alex's gaze, she took his gnosis of anemo, then held it up close to the wind wall.
The next moment, the constantly flowing wind wall stopped flowing instantly, then dissipated, revealing a wide, open road inside.
"Aha! So that's how it's solved! This is really… too outrageous!!!" Alex clenched his right fist and tapped it on his left palm.
Without even needing Venti to complain, Lumine walked back with the gnosis of anemo, put it back in his hand, and said, "Outrageous what? You're a big dummy!"
"Hehehe." What could Alex say? He really did feel a bit stupid himself.
Finally, Alex weakly said, "But, wasn't I just testing the effect of the horn of past events?"
"So, now that the wind wall problem is solved, there's nothing more for me to do, right?" Venti said, crossing his arms again.
"Mm." Alex nodded. Although there was still a seal in the tower inside, it would be completely solved by just manipulating a few mechanisms.
And this step only required Lumine; there was no need for Venti at all.
"Although I didn't solve the problem for you, I did provide you with the idea. And it was very hard for me to come all the way here so late at night. So, that… ahem." Venti said, looking straight at Alex.
"Five large cups of my fruit wine, directly." Alex generously held out his palm.
"Six cups, you still owe me one from last time!" Venti pursed his lips.
On this point, Alex didn't hold back; instead, he also increased the price: "Ten cups! Drink to your heart's content! If you can still drink, I'll give you free refills!"
"You said it!" Venti said, flicking his hand: "Then I'll go back to sleep first. I look forward to you treating me to a drink tomorrow! If you forget, as long as you're in Mondstadt, you won't escape!"
After Venti finished speaking, Anemo element flowed around him, and the next moment, his figure disappeared.
"How about some pineapple now?… Huh?" Alex took out a peeled pineapple, and then realized that Venti had disappeared in an instant. He ran really fast! Afraid that he would go back on his word, right?
"pineapple! Give it to me!" Lumine, beside him, didn't even care that she was wearing black gloves that only covered her thumbs, and directly snatched it.
Then she looked at it. This was a whole pineapple, not cut, and not easy to eat directly. She couldn't just start gnawing on a pineapple in front of others, could she?
So, the moment she snatched it, the pineapple disappeared from her hand and went into her backpack.
Alex looked at his hands, then at Lumine's empty hands: "You're really fast… Another one to take to Paimon?"
"Okay, you actually still think of Paimon, you're so nice!" Lumine said, reaching out her single hand to Alex again, asking for something.
Alex made a pineapple appear and placed it in Lumine's hand. And as soon as it was in Lumine's hand, the pineapple, which had appeared for less than two and a half seconds, disappeared again.
Lumine took out a white handkerchief and wiped off the juice that had gotten on her hand.
After cleaning up, Lumine clapped her hands, then looked at the opened path ahead.
"So, shall we go in now?" Lumine turned to Alex again and asked.
"Of course!" Alex nodded.
"Good! Get in!" Lumine sat on Baron Bunny again and called out to Alex.
