Eleanor opened her mouth but closed it when she heard the line that made her want to throw up blood.
Adrian's left eye twitched. He actually said that line with a straight face.

"Haa" Levi continued, pressing the back of his hand to his forehead. He turned to the alpha he was leaning on.
The side of the alpha's mouth twitched. The alpha finally seemed to grasp Levi's intention.
"What the doctor said." Levi imitated pouting as he grip the alpha's arm for support.
Surprisingly, the alpha's hand came up to steady Levi, his expression shifting from concern into something exaggerated. That it mocked the audience.
"Noah…" Eleanor started, her voice strangled.
"My mate is unwell." Noah's tone was formal. "Surely you are understanding."
