Five minutes later, Hugh's call came back.
"Mr. Wei, we've looked into it. It has nothing to do with our medical school. The mistake came from an associate professor named Eli Perez in the department. We've already found your goddaughter Nevaeh's information and updated it on the bulletin board. It's been corrected immediately."
William's anger was still simmering. Just correcting it makes everything okay?
His tone was sharp, laced with authority. "Was this mistake accidental or intentional? You owe me a real explanation."
"Yes, yes, of course," Hugh stammered quickly. "I'll investigate this thoroughly and give both you and your goddaughter a proper explanation. Please rest assured, Mr. Graydon."
After hanging up, William turned to Nevaeh, his voice softer. "Don't worry. Everything has been settled. Your information has been restored, and the school won't let Eli Perez off easily."
Nevaeh's eyes shimmered with gratitude. "Thank you, Mr. William."
