Chapter 9 - chapter eight: thanks

‎I cuddled closer to the warm body I laid on top of, wrapping my hand around it's body. The warmth seeped into me making me smile. Vibrations passed from it shaking my chest lightly, I snuggled closer the more frequent it became.

‎It took me a whole minutes to realize I was sleeping on master and another to realize the vibrations were his laughter. I couldn't get away from him any faster. I found myself at the other end of the room before you could even blink an eye, my cheeks stung with embarrassment but master didn't seem to notice .

‎My mind flashed everything that happened last night and more red filled my cheeks the more I thought about it. Master had left the comfort of his room and slept on the uncomfortable foam that I slept on, he must have found my tears irritating for him to come all the way to shut me up.

‎My head dropped down and tears stung my eyes as I thought of the many bad things that could happen if anyone had seen us that way. I bent my head further so he can't see my eyes before responding to him, " master thank you for looking after me , I'm sorry for inconveniencing you with my presence last night." His laughter softened, and he waved a hand dismissively, signaling that it was no trouble at all. "There's no need to apologize, you needed comfort, and I was glad to be there for you," he said gently, his voice reassuring. This was a part of master I rarely saw, the him that was relaxed and free.

‎I took a deep breath, trying to calm the whirlwind of emotions swirling inside me. It was a rare moment of vulnerability, and I appreciated his understanding. "I promise it won't happen again," I added, hoping to reassure him that I wouldn't be a burden.

‎He shook his head, a warm smile on his face. "It's not about inconvenience. It's about being there for each other when we need it most," he replied. His words resonated deeply, reminding me of the bond we shared, one that was built on mutual trust and support. The room was quiet, the only sound being the soft rustle of the curtains as a breeze drifted through the open window. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing thoughts and steady my emotions.

‎Feeling slightly more at ease, I managed a small smile in return. The awkwardness of the situation began to fade, replaced by a sense of gratitude. I knew that, despite the embarrassment, I could count on him, and that was a comforting thought.

‎I sat down beside him, allowing silence to fill the room, I wait expecting master to ask what happened. I don't think it's normal for you to find your slave crying her eyes out in the middle of the night. I wait playing with my fingers, running my hands over my nails . I remember the feel of master's hand around my waist and I'm sure my face reddens a bit but I let my hair fall over my face blocking my red cheeks.

‎Master reaches out grabbing my hand , he joins our hands, using his other hand to move my face, so I'm looking at him .I stare directly into his fierce red eyes, filled with a mix of intensity and curiosity. His gaze seems to search for something deep within me, as if trying to understand my thoughts and emotions. The moment feels charged with an energy that is both unsettling and captivating. I can sense the weight of his presence, and it compels me to hold his gaze, despite the instinct to look away. I feel a mix of curiosity and apprehension, yet there's an undeniable pull that keeps me rooted in place. His presence is commanding, and as he holds my gaze, I sense a depth of understanding and purpose.

‎" you can tell me whenever you're ready". I barely register what he's saying because of the pull of his eyes. I feel the sudden urge to kiss him and I know he feels it too. His hands drop from mine and he moves back. He gives me a small smile before turning around to leave.

‎I feel the sudden urge to stop him and I don't know when it leaves my lips. He freezes in his spot waiting for me to say something. He turns around slowly facing me.

‎"Thank you," I whispered, my voice barely audible. "I appreciate it more than you know."

‎Master smiled, his eyes kind and reassuring. "Anytime," he replied. "Remember, you're never alone. If you ever need anything, I'm here."
