Sakura and Ino stopped focusing on Sasuke and instead started vying for the formerly-last-place Naruto. This scene was truly astonishing.
For the girls who liked Sasuke, the fact that they lost two strong competitors was, of course, a cause for celebration.
Some of them started paying more attention to Naruto as a result, and then they realized, hey, Naruto isn't so bad!
Of course, the first choice was still Uchiha Sasuke.
Unfortunately, his popularity was too high, and the difficulty of "conquering" him was too great. It was better to settle for second best.
So when everyone came to their senses, Naruto suddenly became the second most popular guy in the Ninja Academy.
Besides Sakura and Ino, a new group of admirers had joined his fan club.
After all, humans liked to follow the trend. Sakura and Ino had just started it, playing the role of trendsetters.
And now, Naruto was the center of attention, which was truly shocking.
Inuzuka Kiba, who always liked to compete with Naruto, was so envious he almost lost his composure, and his tone was sour when he spoke to Naruto.
"It's all your fault, Pig Ino, now so many people are setting their sights on Naruto-kun, I don't even have many chances to be alone with him."
Sakura, holding one of Naruto's arms, angrily blamed Ino.
Ino, holding the other arm of Naruto, stuck her tongue out at Sakura, and said with a smile, "Forehead, you are too selfish, only thinking of yourself. Naruto used to be alone all the time, now this is so good, I am thinking of him."
Sakura was immediately furious.
It had only been a few days, and she already regretted it immensely, she shouldn't have made that bet with Ino.
Now it was good, not only had she attracted many admirers who were also eyeing Naruto, but Ino also seemed to find Naruto interesting, and was determined to compete with her.
No matter what, when they used to compete over Sasuke, he always had a cold expression, pushing them away and showing a look of disdain.
But Naruto was different. He would play and fool around with them, and would even say nice things to make them laugh.
Compared like this, the difference was clear!
Fortunately for Sakura, she was the only one who was Naruto's woman, at least until now.
Occasionally, during their free time, they would find a secluded spot to fool around, which was her absolute advantage.
It seemed like she had opened Pandora's Box. Since that time, she was now increasingly enjoying the process of being conquered, and her skill level was getting higher and higher.
As for Ino, no matter how thick-skinned she was, she was still the daughter of a prominent family. Holding Naruto's arm was the most daring thing for her, and she wouldn't dare to do anything more extreme.
"Alright, why are you two arguing as soon as you meet? Aren't you best friends?"
Naruto laughed, trying to smooth things over. "I think it's more fun with more people! As long as we're all happy, why sweat the small stuff?"
"Naruto is the most understanding person, as always!" Ino beamed, giving a victory sign.
In her mind, Naruto agreed with her, which meant she had won.
As for Sakura, she would listen to anything Naruto said.
So, faced with Ino's provocation, she simply huffed twice and pretended not to notice.
"Naruto, what are we doing next?" Ino leaned closer to Naruto, her voice sweet. "Maybe we could go eat some dango?"
Her greatest pleasure these days was finding a place to flirt with Naruto after school.
She didn't know why, but Naruto now spoke beautifully and knew how to make her laugh. She loved the feeling.
"Naruto, come to my place!" Sakura insisted, her tone matching his. "My parents aren't home today. Come over, and I'll make you noodles myself."
The two girls were at odds, glaring at each other, as if sparks were about to fly from their eyes.
"No, I have something to do today. I'll hang out with you guys next time."
At this crucial moment, Naruto pulled his hands free and placed them on their heads, one on each side.
"Why!" Sakura and Ino simultaneously wore disappointed expressions.
Naruto chuckled. "How about Sakura, you go with Ino to eat some dango? Or maybe Ino, you can go play at Sakura's place for a while?"
"No way!" The two girls turned their faces away at the same time.
But since Naruto had something to do, they had no choice but to give up. After saying goodbye to Naruto, they both left.
After the two girls left, a figure appeared in front of Naruto using the Body Flicker Technique.
"Yugao-nee-san!"
Naruto's eyes immediately lit up, and he threw himself into her arms, unceremoniously nuzzling his face against her.
That's right, Naruto's "something to do" was a date with Yugao.
He'd waited so long, and finally, it was Yugao's day off.
If Yugao hadn't objected, he wouldn't have even come to the Ninja Academy today.
Yugao had already removed her Anbu mask and changed into a white casual outfit, looking like a beautiful and intellectual older sister.
"How did you know it was me?" Yugao smiled, also embracing Naruto and rubbing her face against his head to show her affection.
In truth, this was the first time Yugao had shown her face to Naruto. Previously, their interactions had always been while she was wearing her Anbu mask and gear.
"Hehe, Sister Yugao is my future wife, so of course I'm familiar with your scent." Naruto chuckled, taking a deep sniff of Yugao and complimenting, "It smells great!"
Yugao was immediately a little embarrassed. She let go of Naruto and lightly tapped his head, saying playfully, "You really dare to say that. I heard you've been quite popular with the girls lately. You were just flirting with two young ladies, and then you turn around and tease your sister."
As she spoke, she pinched Naruto's cheeks with both hands, giving him a 'I see right through you' expression.
"I'm telling the truth!" Naruto's voice was muffled.
Seeing his aggrieved expression, Yugao couldn't help but burst out laughing, and finally let him go.
Then, she took his hand and said, "Alright, I'll take you to eat something first, and then we'll go to the training ground. As we agreed before, I'll help you train your basic ninja abilities. By the way, what do you want to eat?"
Naruto habitually intertwined his fingers with Yugao's, thought for a moment, and said, "Let's go to Ichiraku Ramen. Come to think of it, I haven't been there in a long time."
It hadn't been that long since he'd been, but he hadn't been to Ichiraku Ramen at all since he'd transmigrated.
Before, he was either not in Konoha or was with other people.
The Shadow Clones he used to attend classes had gone, though.
He knew the taste, but it wasn't the real experience since his main body hadn't eaten it.
"Ichiraku Ramen?" Yugao was stunned for a moment, and a trace of pity arose in her heart for Naruto. She said softly, "Alright, let's go there."
As an Anbu, she naturally knew about Naruto's childhood.
After developing this relationship with Naruto, she'd also delved into his information, so she naturally knew why Naruto was so fond of Ichiraku Ramen.
