Music Recommendation: Set fire to the rain,Adele
Vernon walked majestically like a king through the chaos of reporters and flashing cameras like he was on a runway or a stage performance. He wasn't donning a shade or a sunglass like he always does in public. He wanted them to see his arrogant eyes that says,do I give a fuck? No.
Reporters nearly trampled on themselves to get a shot of him.Dressed in a black jean and leather jacket of the same color. He wore a dirty smirk as he threw a glance at the sea of reporters before entering his record company. He was pissed but he put on a look that says he is enjoying the frenzy and chaotic attention.
The storm would soon blow back to the one who started it.
"You shouldn't be prancing about like this Vernon,I said I'd take care of the new album."
"The way you did my last? No thanks.I wouldn't be able to rest assured."
Vernon replied with a snort and at the same time slicing the bottom of a Cuban cigar and lit it.
William was intrigued by Vernon's relaxed and laid back expression. If relaxed and calm was a person,it'd be Vernon
And that.....is what makes him dangerous. He did not at all seem like someone who is presently being trolled by nearly the entire world and had every drug agents eyes on him.
He had known Vernon for eight years but was still surprised very time the man did something.Vernon wasn't like others,he wouldn't be surprised if he was an alien.
He didn't deny nor confirm the criminal drug claims like a normal celebrity would,he just allowed the fire to keep burning.Hell he seemed to be reveling in it.
William stood up and went to the large glass wall.He was surprised at the large crowd of reporters.Even the president wouldn't have this much reporters and paparazzi for a conference. How the hell did he manage to pass through? Vernon came with four of his bodyguards, but still be a hassle for anyone to walk through.
"How are you going to fix this Vernon?.This is not a normal celebrity drug scandal, it's bigger." William said with a sigh.
Vernon glanced up through the haze of smoke.A smile curling from the corner of his mouth giving him a more dangerous aura.
"I already did."
"My son is cleared of all charges? What the hell is going on?" Old master Qult shouted at the general director of the drug investigating team.Sweat of nervousness beaded on the man's forehead. Both father and son were in a gun duel with him in the middle of it.
"H-he said he was going to make you appear on the news instead of him if I don't clear him free of the charges." The man still shuddered at the memory of the young master Qult casually naming his and his family schedules. It was a cryptic threat that he was going to hurt him and or someone dear to him if does not do as he had ordered.
"What....?" Adam Qult drawled hesitantly like he was still trying to register what the man said. "It's not just me Mr Qult.Your son threatened every figurehead in the case and no one wants to continue it." The man reported with his voice cracking with fear.Vernon Qult was a lot more scarier than the old master Qult.
Adam Qult quickly hung up,not wanting to listen to anything else the man wanted to say.
The boy was indeed making his move like he promised.Old master Qult heaved a long sigh.He threw his phone carelessly on the lampstand. That was when he noticed the newspaper kept neatly with intent. He picked up the newspaper on the lampstand and wondered who had kept it there as he was no longer reading newspapers because of his declining eyesight. There was a second newspaper underneath the one he had taken.
The words printed in bold capital letters quickly caught his eyes.He immediately wore his recommended medical glasses to know if he was seeing wrong. It would have been better if he was seeing wrong rather than what he was seeing on the newspaper frontpage glaring back at him.
'River Technology is being massively boycotted after.....'
He did not bother to read the rest.He quickly flipped through the paper and discovered that, that wasn't even the most shocking news.On the next page read.
'Qult Corporations faces devastating stock declination.'
Adam Qult could feel his blood pressure rising.Surely, this could not be true!
Right at that moment, his right-hand man burst into the room. "Sir! We have a huge problem. The stocks! They are all going down!" He yelled.Hearing the report from his right hand man was a confirmation of what he had just read on the news paper.A bad one.
Old master Qult began having dyspnea followed by a strong seizure. His right hand man rushed out to get the inhouse doctor who was residing within the mansion and on the same wing as the old master.
