Chapter 32 - Behind Closed Doors

Private Heat

The moment the door clicked shut behind them, the air between Fah and Tawan shifted. The apartment was quiet, cozy, with only the dim light from the desk lamp spilling across scattered textbooks and half-finished notebooks.

Tawan leaned against the door, arms crossed, smirking. "Finally. Alone."

Fah's chest tightened. He wanted to protest, to say something clever—but Tawan's gaze pinned him, mischievous and heated all at once. "You're…dangerous," Fah muttered, though his voice shook.

"Dangerous?" Tawan echoed, stepping closer. His hand brushed Fah's arm lightly, almost accidental. "Me? Or you?"

Before Fah could answer, Tawan's fingers slid to cup his jaw, tilting his face up. Their eyes met, the unspoken understanding of desire passing between them. And then, like a spark igniting dry tinder, Tawan kissed him.

It started slow—soft, exploratory—but quickly grew urgent. Fah's hands found Tawan's waist, tugging him closer, pressing into the warmth of his body. Tawan responded instantly, one hand moving from Fah's face to his neck, the other sliding along his back, pulling him flush against his chest.

Fah's knees nearly buckled, heat flooding through him. Every brush of lips, every tease of Tawan's tongue against his own, every whisper of breath made him dizzy. Tawan's thumb stroked over his cheekbone, teasing, gentle, then demanding all at once.

"Fah…" Tawan murmured against his lips, voice husky. "Don't fight me."

"I'm not…" Fah gasped, tilting his head, letting the kiss deepen, hands tangling in Tawan's hair, pulling him closer. "I'm not…"

The room seemed to shrink around them—the world outside their walls vanished. Every kiss, every press of bodies, every subtle movement was electric. Tawan's lips traced a slow path down Fah's jaw to the neck, just close enough to send shivers through him without overstepping.

Fah arched instinctively, responding to every touch, every teasing brush of Tawan's hands, until he was trembling, breathless, and entirely consumed.

Finally, they pulled apart slightly, foreheads pressed together, breaths mingling. Fah's heart pounded, chest heaving, yet he couldn't stop smiling.

"You… you're insane," he whispered.

Tawan grinned, brushing a strand of hair from Fah's face. "And you love it."

Fah could only nod, overwhelmed, as Tawan leaned in again for a softer, lingering kiss—this one slower, more intimate, promising that tonight, in the privacy of this room, there were no rules. No hiding. Just them.
