The next day happened to be the weekend. As Cecilia was heading downstairs, she ran into Blaze, who was watching financial news. She greeted him casually and was about to leave, when he suddenly called out.
"Wait. I'll go with you."
"What?" Cecilia thought. Blaze was supposed to meet Marylin himself—if the two of them ran into each other…
"You think it's appropriate for you to meet two women alone?"
"I'll just give you a ride, and I have some errands to run downtown anyway."
Blaze dropped Cecilia off at the café, and before he could even get out of the car, Joey·'s call came through.
"My goddess seems to have arranged a meeting at Island of Infatuation Café with some guy today. Got time to help me crash the scene and teach him a lesson?"
Blaze froze at the strange message, then glanced at Cecilia. "Marylin arranged a meeting for you at the café? Are you sure it's a man?"
