Wanda noticed Chen Xi standing by the window for a long time.
Lately, she'd often see him gazing at the sky and the crowds outside for long stretches.
Everything was under control. There shouldn't be any need for concern, right?
"I've been feeling like someone's been following me."
Chen Xi's sense of caution had always been extreme—he could even sense the gaze of gods. A mere stalker was trivial in comparison.

Chen Xi—a man who should never have existed in this timeline.
Eliminating him and restoring the timeline to its rightful course—that was Franklin Richards' mission.
Thinking of this, he rushed to Susan Storm's residence. Perhaps he should explain things to her.
One more ally would increase his chances of success.
"Who are you?"
Susan frowned slightly at the boy claiming to be her son.
"Mom, I'm your son from the future. My name is Franklin Richards. Your husband should be Reed Richards, not this Chen Xi. You must separate from him."
Franklin stated this with unwavering certainty, his tone even carrying a hint of force.
Susan wasn't affected. In fact, she found the situation mildly amusing.
"I'm telling the truth. I know it's hard to believe."
Seeing Susan smile, Franklin realized she probably didn't believe a word he said. That explained her attitude.
"No, I believe you."
Since joining Chen Xi, she had learned many secrets of the various worlds.
She was aware that timelines and spatial lines had become chaotic.
Although she was reluctant to admit it, she could sense that this person was indeed her bloodline.
But that fact didn't change anything.
"Since you exist here, it means the connection between us is wrong."
Susan said slowly.
Franklin looked confused.
"What do you mean?"
He asked directly, needing clarity.
"I don't know what the people behind you told you, but every parallel world is different, and every space exists differently. Since you exist here, it only makes sense for you in your own timeline. Or more accurately, you and I are not truly mother and son in any meaningful sense."
Susan's words made it clear: if Franklin continued to persist, she wouldn't hesitate to eliminate him.
"I'll inform Chen Xi about this."
Susan stood, signaling Franklin to leave.
His expression darkened.
He felt betrayed—by his own mother.
He didn't understand a word of what she had just said.
"I won't give up."
With that, he vanished from space.
Watching him leave, Susan made a call. Chen Xi, receiving the call, was somewhat surprised.
Franklin Richards—the being equivalent to an all-powerful god, capable of creating universes?
He seemed somewhat related to a planet-devouring entity.
Chen Xi's eyes flickered as he quickly realized the connection.
"So this man… is your future son?"
Chen Xi said vaguely.
Susan immediately frowned.
"What are you talking about? I have nothing to do with him. You're the only one I'm with—don't you know that?"
Susan refused to acknowledge anything that hadn't actually occurred.
She had never considered being with anyone other than Chen Xi.
"Even so, in another sense, he could be considered your son. If I were to kill him, would you hesitate?"
Chen Xi's tone grew sharp with murderous intent.
He wouldn't tolerate another man having any connection with his woman, even if it was in a different sense.
Susan felt his domineering aura in his words.
She hesitated for none of it.
"We have no connection. In fact, in my world, he cannot exist. If needed, I can personally deal with him."
Chen Xi was extremely satisfied with her answer.
Had she hesitated even for a second, he might have discarded her. In this world full of beautiful women, he didn't need to limit his attention to one Susan.
