Tessa smiled warmly, bumbling over her words, "Haven't I seen you before?" Kairo asked as she looked up at him, "Have I? Oh yeah that kid from the mission earlier today that almost got crushed by maggot guts." She giggled as Kairo got defensive, the sound light and oddly melodic. "You looked so serious— like this." She puffed out her cheeks, trying to mimic his focused expression, nearly doubling over from her own laughter.
Lucan chuckled a bit before sighing, "I found her flat out drunk, head-on table with 4 beers all empty. You're like five feet too short to be drinking like a man." She scoffed before hugging Lucan's arm, "I'm five foot one and a half." She said with a pout, as she tried to grab another drink but Lucan picked her up and stopped her, "Lucannnn… Let me gooooo." She said with a wail, "Not trying to have you die of alcohol poisoning."
"Lucan just let her die." A voice cut through the room as a girl with jaguar ears and golden hairs walked up to them, Lucan put Tessa down as she muttered, "This bitch…" Tessa wasn't happy about Hinari's sudden arrival. "Is this Elias' great training, drinking yourself silly?"
"Jealous that I'm taller, cuter and pull off my uniform better than you." Hinari glared at Tessa, her amber eyes flashing for a moment, "If I were jealous, you'd be on the floor before you could finish that—" Lucan caught her wrist before she could step forward, "Not here, Hina." Tessa laughed before taking a step back, it was like electricity was crackling through the air, the tension mounting, "Cat girl always ruins the fun…"
"Are they always like this?" Nova asked as Hinari looked ready to maul the smirk off Tessa's face, "Always. Every time." Hinari purred slickly, "Maybe if you kept your drunk friend in line, maybe next time I won't maim her." Hinari's tail flicked as she walked off to a booth, "Stupid Cat…" Tessa left soon after.
