Chapter 195 - 《DXD: Transfer Student》Chapter 194: The Hug Therapy

"DXD: Transfer Student"Chapter 194: The Hug Therapy

The sudden eruption sent Rias and the others scrambling back outside, abandoning whatever they'd been doing inside. But Draconis Yi moved faster than anyone—he vanished, reappearing beside Koneko in an instant.

With a single, forceful slap, he sent the artificial mountain she'd been lugging as a training weight flying across the courtyard, where it landed with a heavy thud.

Koneko's body went limp, her strength drained in a heartbeat. She collapsed backward, and Draconis Yi caught her, easing her gently to the ground. His brow furrowed—the torn wounds streaking her skin looked all too familiar.

He'd seen this before. It was just like the times he'd pushed his own body past its limits using Sacred Gear resonance: wild, uncontrolled magic surging until the body simply couldn't take any more.

"Asia! Now!" he shouted.

Asia was already running over, her Sacred Gear—Twilight Healing—flaring in her hands. Soft green light poured out, blanketing Koneko's battered body in gentle waves of life energy.

"Koneko, stay with me…" Asia murmured, focusing all her power on the healing.

Asia had become an expert at this—years of patching up Draconis Yi after his reckless training had honed her skills. Back then, she'd often worked herself to exhaustion, healing him until she collapsed herself.

Now, her experience paid off. She was steady, precise, and tireless.

Xenovia knelt beside them, eyes wide. "What's going on? She's got two different powers inside her…"

Rias's face tightened. She looked like she had a theory, but kept silent for now.

Draconis Yi didn't waste time speculating. Koneko was still in danger—her magic was raging, threatening to tear her apart. He had to act.

"Let's get her inside," he said, scooping Koneko's petite form into his arms.

Her bare skin was hot to the touch, flushed and feverish. New wounds kept appearing, forcing Asia to focus every ounce of healing energy she had.

Koneko grimaced, her brow knotted in pain. Draconis Yi knew exactly what she was feeling—he'd lived through magical overload himself, and the agony was brutal.

He carried her swiftly to her bedroom, Rias and the rest trailing behind.

Rias's voice was gentle, but urgent. "What are you going to do?"

"I think I can calm her magic. I'll try," Draconis Yi replied, all business.

"Alright. We're counting on you," Rias said, her concern clear.

Draconis Yi turned to Asia. "Keep the healing going while I stabilize her magic."

Asia nodded, determined. She knew it would be exhausting, but she wasn't about to quit.

Draconis Yi summoned his power. His clothes shredded instantly, exposing his lean, muscular frame—Rias and Akeno both stared, momentarily distracted.

To transfer magic, skin-to-skin contact was essential. He remembered when he was the weak one, and Rias had used this same method to heal him. He'd called it the "hug therapy." Now, it was his turn to protect the people he cared about.

Without noticing the girls' wistful looks, Draconis Yi stepped forward and embraced Koneko.

Her body was burning, magic rampaging inside her, her pain written across her face. Draconis Yi didn't hesitate—he guided his own pure magic through their skin, letting it seep slowly into her.

He avoided using his fused holy-demonic power—it was too dangerous for Koneko. Fortunately, his mastery of Absolute Dominion gave him perfect control. Without it, he'd be helpless here.

He pressed his forehead to hers, speaking softly:

"Koneko, try to guide your magic, let it flow. I'll support you."

Koneko instinctively clung tighter to him, drawing strength and relief from his magic.

Their bodies pressed close, Koneko fighting to stabilize herself, while Draconis Yi felt something powerful stirring inside her—a force that felt oddly familiar.

He racked his memory. Where had he sensed this before?

Bikou. The guy from the Khaos Brigade—the one who claimed descent from the Victorious Fighting Buddha and wielded senjutsu.

Koneko had senjutsu inside her, too?

But as he focused, Draconis Yi realized there was something else mixed in—another, stranger power. What a wild combination.

He almost laughed. He himself fused holy and demonic power, Akeno was half-fallen angel, half-devil, and now Koneko was a walking cocktail of supernatural forces. This group really was a collection of misfits.

Still, Draconis Yi's power was more than enough. No matter how wild Koneko's internal forces surged, his magic formed an unbreakable shield, keeping her safe.

Asia kept at it, Twilight Healing shining bright and steady, repairing every new wound.

Together, they gradually brought Koneko back from the brink. The situation improved, slowly but surely.

Five hours passed. Asia was spent, barely able to keep going, but Koneko was finally stable—just the occasional small wound left.

Rias, who'd been standing watch, spoke softly. "Asia, take a break. I'll handle it now."

With Koneko out of danger, Rias's high-class devil magic was more than enough for the minor injuries.

Asia didn't argue—she was at her limit, and the worst was over. Relieved, she let Rias take her place.

Rias slipped off her clothes and joined Draconis Yi, both of them holding Koneko close, channeling their magic to heal her.
