Ye Lan thought for a long time but couldn't find a good reason to skip it.
He didn't know how to avoid going to the Ninja Academy. Going there would inevitably put him at odds with the System's tasks.
If he didn't go to the Ninja Academy, he wouldn't be able to explain it to Kakashi either. So, he was a little conflicted.
Then he thought again, the System wanted him to become Kakashi's disciple and successfully join Team 7.
In his understanding, Team 7 consisted of Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto Uzumaki. If he joined Team 7, wouldn't that make four students?
A ninja squad always had three students and a teacher. If he really joined, how would the plot continue? Wouldn't he disrupt the order of this Naruto world?
What if he didn't get along with Sasuke? Naruto Uzumaki was fine, but what if Sakura took a liking to him?
Thinking of this, he shook his head, "Seriously, what am I thinking?"
Since he had transmigrated into this world, it meant this world had its own rules.
Furthermore, since this was a task arranged by the System, he probably wouldn't be able to avoid it for the time being.
Actually, going to the Ninja Academy wasn't entirely impossible, but what he feared most was that there were many children there.
Generally, they're all around four or five years old. How could he, a teenager, possibly relate to them?
Basically, there'd be nothing to talk about.
And he'd also thought it through.
He was destined to be in this world, even if he didn't know if it was right or wrong. He'd probably be here for a long time.
Since he was here, he might as well stay. He didn't really have any family or friends in his original world, nothing to really hold him back. He was in the Naruto world, which he liked, so he might as well enjoy it.
After all, him coming to this world was a mistake in the first place. Might as well keep making that mistake.
Maybe, just maybe, this world, the Naruto world, would change because of him.
Thinking about it, Ye Lan felt a sudden surge of excitement.
Seemingly understanding Ye Lan's thoughts, Kakashi glanced at him and said, "I know what you're thinking, but you don't need to worry. Once you get to the Ninja Academy, if you can handle the exams quickly, I'll have Iruka-sensei arrange them for you as soon as possible."
Ye Lan was taken aback, thinking that Kakashi was indeed a Jonin. He hadn't expected him to see through his thoughts so easily and even verbalize them, knowing that he didn't want to go to the Ninja Academy.
However, since Kakashi had said that, he relaxed a lot.
Because if he went to the Ninja Academy to study and take the exams, it would probably just be things like Shadow Clone and throwing kunai, nothing too difficult.
This was basically no challenge for him. Moreover, he could now even learn the highest-level Fire Dragon Flame Bullet. Coupled with his copying ability, there was really no ninjutsu he couldn't learn. This made handling the exams incredibly easy for him.
Ye Lan chuckled and then said to Kakashi, "Teacher Kakashi, let's not delay. Let's go to the Ninja Academy right now. I want to see Iruka-sensei, learn Shadow Clone, and then take the exams quickly, so I can join Team 7."
