"Ah," I thought, with the calm clarity of someone who has accepted their fate. "So this is how my second life ends. Even more pathetically than the first."

'where the hell are you yellow simp'

The world seemed to slow down. The terrifying sphere of chakra descended, a miniature sun bent on erasing us all from existence. My mother squeezed her eyes shut, turning her body to shield me as if a few inches of flesh and bone could stop a force of nature. Shisui was frozen, his perpetual grin finally wiped from his face, replaced by pure, unadulterated terror. My own mind, the only part of me that wasn't completely useless, was furiously recording every detail of my impending vaporization for a post-mortem I would never get to write.

Then, a flash of brilliant gold.

It wasn't a flash of light; it was a flash that was light, a man-shaped blur that appeared between us and oblivion. He was there for less than a microsecond, his back to us, a white coat with red flames licking at the bottom flapping in a wind that hadn't happened yet. One hand was outstretched towards the Bijuu Dama. On the back of his hand, I saw it—a complex, beautiful, and utterly impossible arrangement of ink. A seal. The Flying Thunder God formula.

And then, he and the Bijuu Dama were just… gone.

The space where they had been warped, twisted, and a moment later, a cataclysmic explosion bloomed on the horizon, miles away, lighting up the night sky behind the Hokage Monument.

Minato Namikaze. The Yellow Flash. He'd lived up to the hype. My perfect memory had not just recorded the event; it had practically taken a high-resolution snapshot of the seal on his hand. A completely useless, yet incredibly fascinating, piece of data.

The shockwave hit us a second later, a wave of displaced air that sent everyone tumbling. The immediate threat was gone, but the chaos was far from over. My mother, Natsuki, scrambled to her feet, pulling a still-dazed Shisui along as she ran for the nearest designated shelter. The next few hours were a blur of panicked whispers, crying children, and the distant, earth-shaking sounds of a god-level battle. I, of course, was the perfect baby—silent, observant, and mentally cataloging the various levels of fear and resentment simmering among the Uchiha civilians packed into the bunker with us.

The prevailing sentiment was not fear, but a cold, burning anger.

"They kept the Police Force on the outskirts," one man muttered, his fist clenched. "Our duty is to protect the village, and they ordered us to manage civilians!"

"Fugaku-sama must be furious," another whispered. "To be sidelined like this… it's a blatant insult."

I filed it all away. The seeds of the Uchiha's isolation weren't planted after the attack; they were being watered right here, in the dark, while the Fourth Hokage fought to save their lives.

When we were finally allowed to return home, the Uchiha compound was mostly untouched, a pristine island in a sea of devastation. But the mood was heavier than any collapsed building. My father, Haru, returned hours later, his uniform singed and his face a grim mask of exhaustion and fury. He didn't say a word, simply hugged my mother and brother before looking down at me in his wife's arms. He saw my wide, calm eyes watching him, and a flicker of surprise crossed his face before he masked it.

That night, tucked into my crib, I listened through the thin walls as my parents spoke in hushed, angry tones.

"...the elders, Danzo and the others," my father's voice was low and dangerous. "They looked at us with suspicion, Natsuki. As if we were responsible. The Sharingan is the only known way to control the Kyuubi, so they look to us first."

"But that's insane!" my mother hissed. "The clan was protecting the people!"

"It doesn't matter," Haru sighed, a sound of utter defeat. "The Third has resumed command. Minato and Kushina… are gone. And the council's first unofficial order? The Uchiha Police Force is to be relocated. Our headquarters, our homes… everything is to be moved to the furthest corner of the village. A polite, well-reasoned, political quarantine."

This was it. The first, irreversible step towards the massacre. The canon was a freight train, and it was chugging right along schedule. As I contemplated the grim future, the familiar blue screen flickered to life.

[Major Canon Event 'Nine-Tails' Attack' successfully concluded.]

[Host performance: Pathetic. You literally just sat there and drooled a little. 0 Canon Points awarded.]

[However, as you did not die, the System has deemed you worthy of a 'Welcome to the Apocalypse' starter package. Don't get used to it.]

[Reward Issued: Sage Body Affinity (Dormant)] [Description: You now possess a body with a natural, latent affinity for Sage Jutsu. Your physical potential is greatly increased, your body will develop faster and stronger than your peers, and your connection to natural energy is unlocked. Current State: A seed. It will only grow if you water it with decades of back-breaking, mind-numbing hard work. Do try not to turn into a stone frog prematurely.]

A small, genuine smile touched my infant lips. It wasn't a flashy power. It was potential. The perfect tool for a strategist who preferred to work from the ground up. This changed things. This accelerated my plans.

The System wasn't finished. A new line of text blinked onto the screen, glowing a faint, ominous red.

[New Long-Term Objective Issued: Survive the Coming Storm.]

[The seeds of the Uchiha Clan's destruction have been sown. You have approximately seven years until the canon timeline culminates in a very pointy, Itachi-shaped solution.]

[Your Mission: Don't be there when it happens. Or, if you're feeling particularly ambitious, stop it. Good luck.]
