"I've decided. I'm going to use this ability to fight crime, protect more innocent civilians, and protect Central City."

Barry's face glowed with a righteous aura. He felt it was wonderful to have such an ability, to be able to help innocent people and take down evildoers. It made his heart feel refreshed and comfortable.

"Lin Li, you and I are both capable people. We can fight crime together, protect innocent people, and make this world a better place."

Barry excitedly extended an olive branch to Lin Li.

The birth of The Flash happened right before Lin Li's eyes.

He pondered, thinking this should be able to twist the future back onto the correct path, putting everything back on track. To be extra sure, he decided he would add more fuel to the fire later.

Lin Li didn't answer immediately. After a moment of silence, he said with a pained tone, "Barry, what I need more is to return to my world."

Upon hearing this, Barry's excitement gradually settled. He felt ashamed of himself, only focused on his own joyful fight against evil, without considering how much pain and despair Lin Li, far from home, felt. At the same time, he also recalled the pain of his mother's murder and having nowhere to appeal, and the despair of being powerless. Barry believed no one would willingly endure that, which further strengthened his resolve to fight crime. He wanted to fight crime while also uncovering the truth about his mother's murder.

"Barry, I'm sorry I can't fight crime with you, but I'll help you whenever you need me."

Lin Li forced a smile and patted Barry's shoulder.

"Lin Li, I'm sorry, thank you. Don't give up. Let's work hard together."

Barry hugged Lin Li, tears welling up, and spoke with emotion.

Lin Li noticed that foreigners really liked to hug. Happy? Hug! Sad? Hug! Meeting? Hug! Touched? Hug!

In the few days since Lin Li had transmigrated, he realized he had hugged Barry several times.

What a child starved for affection!

Lin Li sighed, opening his arms to hug Barry.

After speaking, the two chatted for a few more sentences and both put on their tight testing suits.

Barry's hadn't changed; it was still the same red, thigh-length full-body suit.

Lin Li's was a black, thigh-length full-body suit. The fabric was much thicker than Barry's. According to Cisco, it was made of a high-temperature resistant fiberglass, effectively resisting the high heat of electrical currents.

Outside the vehicle.

Cisco stepped forward and said to the two, "Guys, how do you feel?"

"It's tight. This outfit makes me feel a little shy."

"I feel my muscles are being constricted."

Cisco laughed, "Relax, my friends. Soon, you'll just have to run as fast as you can, and you'll be able to take off these suits. Who wants to go first?"

Lin Li raised his hand, indicating he wanted to go first. He wanted to take off this tight suit as soon as possible because it was a bit embarrassing; his lower body was protruding, it was too form-fitting, which made him very uncomfortable.

"OK, Lin Li, you'll start running from the booster. Run with all your might. Wells will monitor your electrical output, Caitlin will monitor your vital organs, and I'm awesome, The Flash, I specially made something good for you."

Cisco took out a small, round object with a yellow lightning bolt symbol.

"This is a two-way headset I made to enhance communication. As long as you don't intentionally shock this little thing with electricity, our communication will be unobstructed. Later, I plan to add a camera, bio-monitoring, and other devices, but that's for later."

Lin Li took the small object. This was the symbol Cisco originally gave The Flash for testing in the original story. Now that it was in his hands, it made him feel a bit tricky.

Lin Li had a feeling that everything related to The Flash seemed to be tilting towards him: relationships, the title, the future.

Barry, let me give you a push, so you can become The Flash.

Lin Li crouched on the booster, his butt sticking up.

"3… 2… 1, GO!"

Cisco shouted, punching the air.

Silver electrical arcs burst forth, scorching a circle on the ground. The current was perfectly controlled by Lin Li, with no leakage.

Lin Li transformed into a silver electric arc humanoid object and instantly sprinted out.

He ran at the speed of a train, thundering across the ground with dazzling lightning and immense power. The air seemed to be scorched and burned, leaving a charred path where he ran.

The air within his body was compressed to its limit by Lin Li, and positive and negative electron nuclei rotated intensely, accelerating to generate electricity.

Faster!

Damn it! Faster!

Lin Li roared inwardly. His physical speed, combined with lightning acceleration, pushed every cell to its extreme operating speed.

He didn't feel a sense of flying like the wind, nor did he run with complete exhilaration.

The headwind rushed at him like a sheet of cling film blocking his way, impossible to break through.

His body emitted countless sizzling sounds, operating at its peak. An electromagnetic field enveloped a three-meter radius around him, and he was completely surrounded by a ball of lightning.

"Ah…"

Lin Li let out a roar from deep within his throat. He couldn't push through anymore.

He ran for fifteen minutes, exerting all his strength, operating his body's abilities to their extreme and in a frenzy.

The electric light dissipated, and Lin Li slowly breathed in deeply, jogging as he turned around.

Back at the research vehicle, Lin Li had already recovered his strength, and the sweat on his body had completely vanished.

"The Flash, you're amazing, like a runaway locomotive."

Cisco exclaimed.

Compared to Barry and Reverse-Flash's speeds, this speed was too slow, not even breaking the sound barrier. However, Lin Li understood himself; his advantage wasn't in speed. Lightning, electromagnetic fields, and even the high temperature generated by electron friction were his strengths. He neither underestimated nor overestimated himself, measuring himself with a ruler in his heart.

Lin Li smiled and said, "This is too slow. Barry could leave me nine blocks behind in an instant."

Caitlin, however, said with a touch of surprise, "Mr. Lin Li, your body is indeed excessively strong. You can recover to a normal state from an extreme physical state in just a few dozen seconds. This is truly incredible. Your average speed was 58.4 meters per second. From the twelfth minute, your speed increased to a maximum of 96.8 meters per second. Although it could only be maintained for three minutes, it's still very impressive. Just now, the maximum current emitted from your body was even enough to power Star Labs for several months."

Wells's suspended heart settled down. Just now, he saw Lin Li output his maximum power, that immense power, like thunder striking, grand and imposing. The entire world seemed to be about to be crashed through and broken by him. That terrifying aura was unsettling from the depths of one's will. One must know that Wells was Reverse-Flash, Lin Li's enemy. His heart was severely shaken. If he were to face Lin Li, he would definitely be shattered to pieces in front of him.

As the data came out, his heart also settled. Lin Li, who looked and felt mighty and powerful, only had a maximum speed of 96.8 meters per second. At this speed, he couldn't even touch his clothes, so why worry?

Lin Li, you can't even touch my clothes!

He sneered contemptuously in his heart, but a sincere smile appeared on his face.

Wells gave Lin Li a thumbs up and said, "Great! We'll be relying on you for our power supply from now on."
