Chapter 4 - Evolution

Aeris was falling down; his speed was accelerating continuously. A physical form might have even burst apart by now, but Aeris was in a spiritual form—Soul.

Suddenly, in an instant, like a portal devoured him, a breach in the void itself appeared below Aeris, taking him inside.

Inside...

More colors than a rainbow, like all colors in existence were mixed up; Might Space was glowing iridescently. Instead of being filled with planets and stars like normal dimensional space, galaxy-shaped silence.

Heaven, Hell, Realis, and other cosmic bodies of mythologies resided here. No one could enter here until you cleaved the space itself, opening the space as a breach or crack in reality itself.

"What are you doing nowadays, Ager??"

Rahi gazed around him, rotating his head in all directions

"Oh, you are still stuck in this void."

Ager sighed and cleared the blood that came out of his nose. You monster!, Ager thought.

"I am not a monster; don't say such ridiculous things to me. After all, I am your best friend," Rahi said in a playful and laughing tone.

"Don't interfere in my personal thoughts, or I will kill you, understood, you bastard! And I am not your friend," Ager said with irritation.

I think the word 'irritation' was created with the sole purpose to serve Ager.

"I don't have time to hear your foolishness; a boy named Aeris just fell down in Might Space. He lost his consciousness, making the void disappear for him. I want you to execute him immediately!"

Rahi... who had no clothes on his upper body, with loose trousers below. His chest was full of scars, too deep inside his large, bulky, but still muscular body. He was a monster, even Ager was afraid of. His height was more than Ager, who himself was like a long, lanky tree. His red crimson eyes and red hair were representing his experience in bloodshed wars, which matched his status: Neutrality of Destruction. He was made to destroy the galaxies and the planet itself rather than individuals.

As his weapon, he had a large sword, which wasn't here a moment ago, but now it was in Rahi's hands, like he summoned the sword from somewhere.

Particularly, this sword was longer than a katana and unusually wide in size. His blade was working as a mirror, which reflected the death of his enemies. The handle of this sword was uniquely designed, with a blockage system in which you can fit your hand comfortably.

Rahi raised his sword, making it rest on his shoulder. Then he smiled evilly, making the environment of void darker, decreasing the visibility of white in void.

"A new prey. Tell me how powerful he is. I can't wait to begin the hunt. I don't remember the last time I sheathed my sword with the blood of a lumen being. I am bored of destroying galaxies."

"Fool!" Ager shouted.

"Don't you dare to destroy any planet. He is just a human soul."

"A human?? Ager, how can you be this careless? Can't you handle a mortal? Don't tell me you lost your powers!"

"I have all my powers, and it's not my fault that he fell down. It's a basic principle of the void: to stand here in this nothingness, you must be conscious. And that's why you should leave now, because he must have reached the might space as of now. Don't let him evolve there. There is a huge amount of released neutral energy there."

Rahi removed his sword from his shoulder, and the sword vanished slowly. His excitement faded from his face.

"Why did you even summon me? Don't you know that no mortal can survive Might Space? I was really excited after a long time, and you ruined it."

Ager sighed deeply, his face grimaced with exasperation, and in a quick and annoyed voice, he said,

"You are really dumb. Like this, it's also true that no mortal can bear the presence of us, but he did. And that's why he became unconscious. He has zero karma, so he will not have any effect of might space. Instead, his soul will evolve into a neutrality. I am fearful of the powers he will get, because if this happened, the law that every Neutrality serves under a specific Supreme will break."

"The neutral energy that is present inside a neutrality comes from a specific Supreme; that's what depends on our powers, but in the might space, there is a released neutral energy of multiple Neutralities from the homeland of Neutralities: Realis."

"So if he gets that mixed neutral energy of multiple neutralities, this will collide with the second law: A specific neutrality serves under a specific Supreme. It's possible that a supreme orders multiple neutralities, but it's impossible that a neutrality serves two different Supremes. I can't imagine what will happen if he evolves. So please don't waste the time here; any moment, he can fall into normal space."

"Oh! I didn't know these laws. But zero karma..."

Ager interrupts the Rahi instantly; in panic, he said frantically,

"Just go already!"

"Okay, okay, I am going; don't worry."

His sword appeared instantly in his right hand. The sharpened edge of the sword's blade was glimmering red.

"What was that mantra? I forgot."

"But no worries, I already have a pact with Neutrality of Space, so I can travel anywhere in this universe."

Raising his sword to like attack, Rahi chanted few words—not chanted, actually; he said informally.

"SPACE PACT: DESIRED DESTINATION TELEPORTATION"

In a blink, he disappeared.

Ager's body was now disintegrating into particles.

"I hope he will reach him before it's too late. Now I should return to my..."

The voice vanished as Ager disintegrated completely, leaving a mystery behind. Return?

Not disintegrating actually, but disappearing slowly, turning into particles that faded after a short distance.

"Why am I on a planet... It's sea here. Looks like it's already late now; he must have evolved until now.""

"I was right to use the most powerful Presence-concealing ability of my clan. Or this planet would be in... I am sure nothing would remain to describe."

Rahi was teleported in front of a sea; the sun was shining bright, and it was like noon. A scene of a beach or an island, maybe.

"Where is that boy? That boy should disappear here, as he is a soul in this physical realm," Rahi said, gazing stupidly around him.

"But maybe no. He will not disappear; there is an unusual amount of nexus present here.

Oh, he's there! Is he sleeping or still unconscious? I should look into him through my Eyes of Destruction."

For a moment, Rahi's red eyes glowed crimson or dark red. His eyes widened like he saw...

I can't find a word to describe it, because even I don't know of what such a powerful neutrality or walking catastrophe would be afraid!

But it's sure; he saw an unusual thing inside Aeris, making even Neutrality of Destruction pale.

"It's okay, at least for me, if you evolved in neutrality, but the ability you gained is..."
