Valkun: He stood before Alces' cage, slow, molten spheres of flame circling his hand. "Hmmph…"
Zilari: He strained against the chains binding his limbs, metal biting into his skin. "Is this really necessary? I told you, I only had one element to build that device. I can't just make another."
Valkun: His eyes slid toward him, narrowing to slits. "You earned this fate the moment you chose their side." The flames flared brighter. "Be grateful I don't kill you where you hang." A ripple tore through the air.
Galacor: He appeared beside the Phantom Emperor, his form dissolving back into the stone upon his head. "Ran into your skeleton friend." He spat to the side. "Bastard's going to be a problem. No luck on the timeline either. Completely invisible."
Valkun: "That won't matter." He closed his fist, the flames vanishing into his palm as his gaze locked onto Alces' cage. "We already have our solution."
Alces: His head snapped up, his horns scraping against the bars. "What?"
Galacor: He scoffed. "You're joking. The nature thing already said he doesn't know where they are."
Valkun: Fire burned behind his teeth as he spoke. "He doesn't need to." His smile widened, a cruel and deliberate expression. "All we need… is for them to know where he is."
Galacor: His gears clicked as he turned his head to the side, "Are you saying we use him as bait?"
Valkun: He knelt, "I'm saying, we make the being of nature scream, call for his dear friend Wiliaquo's help...They will soon realize they cannot continue life without him alive; they will be forced to come to us if they won't make themselves known."
Zilari: "Valkun, you idiot! If you accidentally kill him, then that could end the connection between nature and life! That could kill all of us!!!"
Valkun: He snapped his fingers, and a pit of bright fire burst upwards from underneath Zilari, causing him to shout as bits of his metal melted away. As he closed his fist, the flames stopped, and Zilari fell to his knees, weakened. "I don't care."
Alces: He finally found the strength to form his bow from the vines on his body, pulling the string back. The bowstring glowed a bright blue and fired a spiritual arrow straight toward Valkun.
Phantom Emperor: He morphed into existence, grabbing the arrow right before it could hit Valkun in the head. "Crisis averted."
Valkun: He growled, ripping the cage open, grabbing Alces by his horns, and throwing him to the floor. He stomped on his horns, breaking one of them off completely, and blood spewed out from his head. "YOU DARE TRY TO KILL ME?! I WILL SHOW YOU WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DARE TO CROSS ME!!!" He grabbed Alces, transporting the two of them to his nature planet. He threw Alces to the ground in front of the large tree.
Alces: "What are you...d-doing?!" He tried to stand, but his body was too weak.
Valkun: "You know what is funny?" He looked down at him, smiling widely, "I found out that the Everlasting Tree actually only preserves the life of mortal beings. It doesn't affect beings like me or my army because they are all fueled by me."
Alces: His eyes widened, "Valkun, no, NO DONT, PLEASE!"
Valkun: He laughed, "That means your threat from before was empty, as long as I keep you alive, I can do ANYTHING I WANT!" He blasted fire into the massive tree; the screams of every single child Alces had erupted all at once as the tree burned.
Millions of planets in the vast distance burst in the expanse of space, the sky lit up like fireworks, but not of beauty, of destruction. "MORTALITY IS THE DISGUSTING PLAGUE OF THIS WORLD. YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DO NOT LISTEN TO ME! YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TRY AND BREAK MY WORLD!!!" He grabbed Alces by his neck, holding him up, "I WILL ENSURE THAT EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU BETRAYERS, BURN IN HELL!!!!!"
"MY HELL!!!!!"
