Chapter 32 - Clara

Noa was already driving off when he noticed someone approaching Hana. Though he couldn't make out her face, he had a sudden urge to jump out of the car and protect his sister.

No one should make Hana uncomfortable.

And he, as her older brother, was the only one who could make sure she wouldn't get bullied.

But before he stopped the car, Noa thought of something.

Not only would he embarrass Hana if he made a scene like an unreasonable adult, but he might also make the situation even worse.

What's more, he wasn't sure what was going on in the first place.

Panic was the root of evil, but thankfully, he was slowly getting used to controlling his emotions.

He also wanted to allow Hana to grow.

Yes, having an older brother with shining armor protecting you was good, but it would also make her vulnerable when he wasn't around.

Being dependent on him was cool and everything, but she should be able to handle herself as well.

With that in mind, Noa held himself back.
