Third person point of view
Junkyu didn't come across Haruto again after the day they had dinner together. His week went by like usual. During the weekend, he went to the mall to buy a few things he wanted. He got some clothes and walked out of the store. He was looking in the bag and bumped into someone on the side. " Sorry ". He gave a bow and the other person also apologized.
They both looked up and were surprised. " Sir ? " Junkyu didn't expect to cross paths with Haruto here. Haruto was also just as taken back. " Junkyu-ssi ". The both of them chuckled. " I didn't expect to see you here ". Haruto said and Junkyu couldn't agree more. " Right. But we might be obstructing other people's way ".
Junkyu said and they both walked from there. They stood near the railing. " You seem to be shopping ". Haruto said, looking at the bags in Junkyu's hand. Junkyu nodded. " Yes. How about you sir ? " " I did come to buy some clothes but I didn't really like anything ". Junkyu nodded. Haruto glanced at the bags.
" Do you have any recommendations ? " " I am not really sure about what style you want ". " Anything will do ". Junkyu rubbed his chin. " Then... the one I just walked out from. There is also another one on the floor above which I heard is good ". Haruto nodded. " I should check those out then ". " Yes ". " Are you alone ? " Junkyu gave a nod.
" Then... mind helping me ? I was bored going around alone ". Junkyu gave a chuckle and nodded. " Sure ". Haruto also smiled. " Let's go ". They walked back into the store which Junkyu just walked out from. Haruto looked around and found two shirts which he liked. He then went to look for hoodies. Junkyu observed Haruto as he shopped.
He was dressed up semi formally even now. He was wearing a t-shirt, dress pants and long coat. Haruto picked out two of the hoodies. " Which is nice ? " He asked, showing them to Junkyu. One was a light grey color while the other was black. Junkyu gave it a thought and pointed at the grey one. Haruto nodded and put the black one back.
He also picked some jeans and went to try them on. Junkyu waited outside while Haruto changed. He was looking at the t-shirts nearby. " Junkyu-ssi ". Junkyu turned around and saw Haruto standing there in jeans and the hoodie he just picked. Junkyu was surprised. Without formal wear, Haruto gave off quite a young aura, like a college student.
" Is it fine ? " Haruto asked, looking down. Junkyu came out of his thoughts. " Yes ". Haruto nodded and walked back in. He also tried the other ones and showed them. Junkyu thought Haruto looked good in all of them. " I guess a face can save anything ". He mumbled to himself and waited. Haruto was done trying.
He decided to got all of them and did so. They walked out of the store with the bags. Haruto checked the time. " Shall we have some food ? " Junkyu also felt a bit hungry. He nodded and they went to the food court. They both went to the counter and looked for what they would like. Haruto ordered what he liked.
" Actually there is an event for couples and you can get coupons. You can use them in any of our shops. Would you like to apply for the lucky draw ? " The cashier lady asked and both of them felt a little awkward. " Thank you but we are not a couple ". Haruto said it. She nodded and gave a smile. " Sorry sir ". Haruto smiled.
" Can you bill mine first ? " " Yes, sure ". She billed Haruto's and then took Junkyu's order. They took the food with them and sat down at a table. " Sorry ". Haruto said and Junkyu was shook. " No. It is really fine. It is not your mistake sir ". Haruto smiled. They had the food and then went to the other store which Junkyu spoke about.
They walked in and Junkyu went to the section where there were t-shirts. Haruto went to look for shirts. Junkyu picked two and turned around. He almost bumped into Haruto again. Haruto quickly took a step back. " Sorry ". " It is fine sir ". He also didn't expect Junkyu to turn around right when he went closer.
" Are there any nice ones ? " Junkyu nodded and showed a few. Haruto also picked one. Junkyu also got some sweats and pajamas. He was done with it. " You don't want to try it on ? " Junkyu shook his head. Haruto nodded. He went to try them on. But he didn't show them to Junkyu this time. Junkyu just waited and Haruto walked out in his own dress.
He was a little sad but didn't say anything. Haruto picked a few out of those. " Do you want to see anything else ? " Haruto asked and Junkyu looked around. " Yes. I want to look for some formal shirts ". And so they went to that section. Junkyu looked for some dark colored shirts. He picked out a dark blue one and a black one to compare.
" Junkyu-ssi ". Haruto called for him. Junkyu turned to him and saw Haruto holding a shirt. It was a blue denim shirt. " How is this ? " Junkyu nodded. " It's nice ". " Is the size right ? " Haruto asked, handing it to Junkyu. " Size ? " " Yes. Check it once ". Junkyu checked and it was his size. " It is right... ? " He checked again.
" This is for me ? " Haruto nodded. " It caught my eye and I thought it would suit you ". Junkyu was astonished. He looked at it again and it was indeed nice. He smiled. " Thank you sir ". " There is no compulsion. Take only if you want to ". Junkyu smiled wider. " How can I not take it when sir picked it for me ? " Junkyu joked, making Haruto laugh.
" But it really is nice. Thank you ". " No mention ". Junkyu picked up the shirts and was done. Haruto was also done and they got their own things billed. They paid and walked out of the store. " I am done for today. What about sir ? " " Me too ". They went to the escalator to go down. Haruto turned to Junkyu.
" Do you want me to drop you ? " " No. It is alright. I will take a taxi ". Haruto nodded. They reached the ground floor. " My car is in the parking lot. So... " Junkyu nodded and gave a bow. " Bye then. Drive safe ". Haruto also bowed. " Thanks for helping me today ". " No, no. It is nothing ". " Go home safe ". " Yes ".
Junkyu grinned and walked to go out while Haruto went to the parking lot. Junkyu found a taxi and went home. He put the bags on the side and plopped on the couch. " Ugh... " He had no more energy. " Living is so tiring ". He said and let out a groan. He just lazed around for the rest of the weekend.
