The hum of the ship's engines filled the cockpit, steady and constant. Bulma kept her eyes on the control panel, her hands trembling as she adjusted the trajectory. The stars outside stretched like silver streaks, endless and cold.
"How long until we arrive?" Buu's voice cut through the silence, smooth but tinged with impatience.
Bulma's throat tightened. "…At this speed? About six days. Maybe more."
Buu leaned back in his seat, frowned "Too long..."
Then his lips curled into a mischievous grin.
Maybe I can speed this up.
Before she could react, his body began to ripple, pink flesh shifting like liquid. Streams of energy seeped from him, wrapping around the ship's hull like glowing tendrils. The vessel shuddered violently, warning lights flaring red across the console.
"W-what are you doing?!" Bulma cried, gripping the controls.
"Helping," Buu answered with a chuckle. His aura expanded outward, enveloping the ship in a blazing cocoon. "I can push us through space. Faster. You'll see."
The engines roared, but it wasn't the ship driving them forward anymore—it was Buu. The stars outside blurred into streaks of white as the vessel surged ahead at impossible speed.
Bulma's heart pounded. She glanced sideways at him, but his eyes were closed, his grin calm, almost serene. To him, this was child's play.
"Relax, Bulma," he murmured. "We'll reach Namek in no time."
Back on Earth, the battlefield was chaos.
The three Buu clones pressed the attack, laughter echoing across the ruins. Each one moved with terrifying speed, regenerating from every blow, every blast, like death itself mocking the fighters.
Piccolo slammed his elbow into one's jaw, ki bursting around him. "Damn it! They won't fall!"
"Then I'll just make them fall harder!" Gotenks roared, aura flaring. He darted past Piccolo, slamming a fist into another clone's gut. The impact cracked the ground, shockwaves tearing through the rubble.
But the clone only smirked, its rubbery body bending and snapping back. "Heeheehee…"
"ENOUGH!" Gotenks shot upward, hovering above the battlefield. His eyes burned with fierce determination. "I'm done playing around!"
Piccolo looked up sharply. "Wait—what are you—"
"Watch closely" Gotenks' voice thundered, his aura flaring wildly. The ground beneath him split, the sky itself trembling. Golden light erupted around his body, crackling, spiraling, twisting like a storm.
The clones paused, their grins faltering for the first time as the pressure skyrocketed.
His hair lengthened, cascading down his back in glowing locks. His brows vanished, eyes sharpening into a predator's glare. The entire battlefield shook under the weight of his transformation.
"HRRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!"
In a final burst of light, the Super Saiyan 3 stood revealed.
Piccolo's breath caught. "Incredible…"
Gotenks smirked, his voice deeper, dripping with arrogance. "Now… let's see you laugh this off."
The clones snarled in unison, their bodies rippling as they prepared to strike.
But Gotenks was already gone—vanishing in a flash of speed, his fist colliding with the first clone so hard it shattered into pieces.
-Author here: I've read a lot of suggestions for Buu's "human form." I'll think about it a bit more so I can get more responses. I'll probably do a survey on my p@treon. Don't worry, it'll be free (not that there's anything to pay for this novel, lol).
