Chapter 12 - Chapter 12 - Porunga’s Awakening

"STOP, BUU!" Gohan roared, ki surging as he pushed himself to the limit. Every nerve in his body burned, but he refused to slow. Ahead of him, Buu's silhouette streaked through the sky, Bulma clutched tight in his grip.

The pink monster threw a glance over his shoulder, grin stretching wide. "Persistent little brat…" With a sharp laugh, his body rippled and burst into dozens of fragments—each one shooting in a different direction, pink comets scattering across the horizon.

Gohan's eyes widened. "What—?!" He tried to track them all, but his senses screamed with confusion. Each fragment pulsed with Buu's ki signature, identical, impossible to tell apart.

"Tch!" He clenched his fists, aura flaring as he darted after the one with Bulma—but when he blasted through the cloud of dust...

Far in the distance, the real Buu slithered back together, cackling as his form stabilized. "Heheheh… too easy. One more errand to run, then the Dragon Balls will be mine."

With a final burst of speed, he vanished into the clouds, leaving Gohan searching desperately among false trails.

--- Time skip ---

Deep within a secluded corner of Namek, far from the shattered battlefields, stood the oldest of the Namekian sages. His skin was wrinkled like ancient stone, his eyes half-closed in meditation as he cradled something in his hands. The seventh Dragon Ball, glowing with a quiet, sacred light.

The ground quaked as a shadow fell over him. Slowly, the elder lifted his gaze.

Buu descended, landing with a heavy thud. His newly mutated form loomed taller, crimson eyes gleaming with hunger as his gaze locked on the orb.

"At last…" His voice dripped with satisfaction. "The final piece."

The elder's grip tightened around the Dragon Ball. His gaze was calm but resolute. "You… are a blight upon this world. These sacred treasures were never meant for the likes of you."

Buu chuckled darkly, his body rippling as tendrils stretched outward. "Save your words, old man. That ball is mine… and nothing will stop me from summoning Porunga."

The elder rose slowly to his feet, eyes glowing faintly with hidden power. "Then before I die… I will make sure you regret coming here, creature."

Buu's grin widened, teeth flashing as his aura erupted. "Good. I was hoping you'd resist."

The elder's aura flared, a shimmering green light that wrapped his frail body like a second skin. With surprising speed, he thrust his palms forward, unleashing a wave of pure Namekian energy.

Buu tilted his head, almost bored, and raised a hand. The blast struck him full on, but he only skidded back a few meters, chuckling. "Ohoho… not bad, old man. You've got some fire in you."

The sage didn't flinch. He charged again, fists glowing, striking at Buu's chest with all the strength his ancient body could muster. For a moment, the monster staggered, the ground beneath them splitting from the impact.

But Buu only laughed harder, his body rippling around the blows like water. "Fun, fun! You're tougher than you look. But—" His arm shot out, twisting unnaturally, wrapping around the elder like a constricting serpent. "—Even if you plan to die taking the Dragon Ball with you… you won't."

The sage grunted, straining, his energy flaring one last time. "You… will not… win…"

Buu pulled him close, grinning inches from his face. "Wrong. Now go to sleep." With a pulse of ki, he sent a jolt through the Namekian's body, and the elder collapsed, unconscious, the Dragon Ball rolling from his limp hands.

Now, all seven Dragon Balls pulsed within him, their light glowing faintly through his flesh like seven imprisoned suns.

Buu threw his arms wide, his voice booming talking in Namekians. "Porunga! Arise, and grant me my wishes!"

The ground trembled. The sky darkened. A deafening rumble rolled across Namek as the seven orbs aligned, merging their energy. Bolts of golden lightning split the sky.

The horizon blazed as a colossal pillar of light shot skyward, tearing through the heavens. From within the storm of energy, an immense shadow stretched across the land—wings unfurling, muscles coiling, eyes blazing like twin suns.

Porunga, the eternal dragon of Namek, roared into existence, his voice shaking the planet.

"STATE YOUR WISHES! I SHALL GRANT ANY THREE!"

Buu's grin stretched wider than ever before, crimson eyes glinting with triumph. "Heheheh… finally…"

Author here: Tell me what you think. Personally I skipped search because I thought it was boring lol. By the way, I will upload the survey about the Human form before going to sleep on my p@treon, the name is the same I use here.
