"Ahem, pardon my intrusion but it's my very honor to introduce to you Theodulf, Theodora, and Theodolpa, the famous Ilcynder triplets, they will be continuing the semester with us due to some unresolved identified issues at the northern province. Make yourselves at home cause here at FIMCI, there's a room for every creature. Students, help them settle in, blow on them the nice friendly FIMCI air. My beautiful daughter will give you a tour of the school after classes." She said in a gleeful tone scanning the classroom for valzella, she had to interrupt an ungoing class to introduce the new students.
Valzella frowned and hid her face behind a book.
"Val honey, wave please" she peered through the crowd of students.
Valzella sighed then waved reluctantly.
"There! So, if you need further informations about anything, feel free to ask her. That will be all for now. Thank you!" She left the class smiling. New students is the goal of every head of administration and Mra Adolpha didn't defer. Being the principal of a mystical school made the goal more demanding but, she was always up to whatever task assigned to her. She's received countless awards for her outstanding achievements in the educational sector.
The Ilcynders are a unique breed of werewolves, they are hybrids. They are a combination of werewolf and vampire thanks to their parents. But, they possessed little of the vampire gene, they are seventy percent werewolf and thirty percent vampire. Their vampire features includes incredible speed, blood lust, cold skin, mind control and reading ability, and memory erasing ability. They are also a unique set of triplets due to the obvious fact that they are s combo of two girls and a boy, but not to the mystical creature assembly.
After class, the trio walked up to valzella's seat.
"You owe us a tour!" They chorused.
She hurriedly packed up her stuff and led them out. She took them round the school, showing them all the spots, hideouts, hostels, literally everywhere in the school, answering every question they threw at her. She gave them a copy of the school's rules and regulations handouts.
"Any more questions?" She asked tiredly. They looked at each other then chorused "No!"
"Good! This is...goodbye then, feel free to sign up for the inter house sports rally coming up after the tests weeks, get your time table slip from your class master and don't forget to always be careful with your access cards, you'll be locked out if you lose them. Bye!" She turned and walked away briskly.
They watched her walk off, looked at each other and shrugged.
*** lupita and valzella's dorm ***
"So, how did it go?" Lupita asked valzella as she entered the room.
"Well. I didn't puke or speed talk this time, i spoke with confidence and guess what? I even asked them to sign up for the inter house sports rally coming up next month. Awesome right?!" She said cheerfully.
"Yay!... Go val!" Lupita cheered lowly.
"I know, i'm growing" she made a roar and they burst into laughter.
*** Few days later ***
Lupus walked into chemistry class with the excitement that he would sit next to valzella but his stomach sank when he saw valzella smiling and chatting with Theodulf.
Theodulf has been inseparable from valzella since his first day, his closeness to her made lupus' stomach churn with rage, he has always had to bear the sight of theodulf whispering into valzella's ear and telling jokes that made her laugh.
He gritted his teeth and took a sit opposite them. The teacher walked in and class begun. Few minutes into the class the teacher asked a question, valzella and Theodulf hands went up, the class ooed to see a different hand other than valzella's raised.
"Forgive me miss Balwinder but i really would love to hear a fresh voice." The teacher said.
"He's all yours Mr Marcus." Valzella said with a friendly note of surrender.
"So. Mr Ilcynder, let's hear you."
Theodulf answered the question correctly and earned a roar of applause.
"Impressive! Miss Balwinder, i think you have a match now." Mr marcus said and Valzella giggled.
Classes became more interesting and something valzella looked forward to, since the arrival of the Ilcynders, lupita and valzella experienced school anew.
They hung out with them, ate together, visited each other's hostels, did school work together and a lot of other stuff. It so happened that valzella was assigned Theodulf's private tutor to bring him up to speed.
Theodulf took same classes with valzella while his sisters took same classes with lupita although they preferred the company of guys, they always tagged lupita along.
Luna wasn't getting much attention like she used to after the arrival of the Ilcynders, they were the new hot werewolves in school and being a hybrid made them even cooler to hang out with.
The Ilcynder is a royal, well respected name in the northern province, being the descendants of a werewolf-vampire bloodline made them one of the top most revered and feared creatures in the mystical creature community.
Their powers and authority didn't make them arrogant instead, they were very humble and loving, they protected the northern province from threats and external forces. They were loved by all. Being a werewolf vampire gave them a hedge over the binding laws of each order, for example, their mates cannot be decided by the lycan gods or the vampire cult so they are free to choose whoever they liked as a mate, they make their own rules themselves, but the good thing about them is the fact that they are not trouble makers.
"What are your plans for later?" Theodulf asked when the study with valzella ended.
"Um...nothing." She replied stacking her books.
"What?! Why nothing?" He asked in surprise.
"Cause founders days are not my thing. I sit the day out, reading or doing boring stuffs i can think of." She shrugged.
"But why?"
"I lost interest in social activities since... Never mind" She swallowed the remaining words, took her bag and made to leave.
He stopped her by holding her wrist. She looked at his hand on her wrist.
"Would you go if i ask you to?" He said in a pleading tone.
She sighed.
"Please. It would make me the happiest male on campus" he insisted, not giving her room to change her mind.
She blushed then said "can lupita come?"
"It's a date!" He announced happily.
"I'll see you later hot shot" she chuckled and walked off.
