Emiya couldn't help but comment,
"Why would a Familia that started as adventurers want to recruit a chef? Sounds like you just want to make trouble for Hestia."
Loki's eyes widened.
"Am I that kind of person?"
Emiya nodded.
"Aren't you?"
Loki chuckled.
"You're right. I am that kind of person."
Emiya looked exasperated.
"Shamelessly admitting it, huh?"
Loki defended herself,
"That little shrimp has been provoking me. What's wrong with taking a few of her members? I'm already merciful by not starting a War Game against her Familia."
Emiya groaned.
"Tell me, are you causing trouble with Hestia, or is she causing trouble with you?"
Loki ate a dumpling.
"Huh? A heart? Gods don't have hearts!"
Riveria had had enough.
"Loki, please stop talking."
She turned to Madam Pai,
"I'm sorry, Master. Loki doesn't mean harm."
Madam Pai gave a nervous smile, while Erina Nakiri and Hisako Arato looked helpless. Without Hestia present, the low-level Familia members dared not offend Loki.
Finally, Loki quieted down-but only for a moment.
After finishing her meal, she looked at Emiya sideways.
"Emiya boy, which world are you in now?"
Emiya replied,
"A world full of detectives and phantoms."
"Are there any talented people?"
"No," Emiya shook his head. In reality, there were a few perfect candidates for the Loki Familia.
"You're lying."
"I'm not."
Loki smirked,
"Heh, who do you think I am? Goddess of Mischief, Goddess of Lies. I can tell when someone's lying."
Emiya sighed,
"Alright, fine. There are indeed a few suitable people."
Loki's smile widened.
"Who?"
"A man named Makoto Kyogoku. He's a karate practitioner with 400 consecutive wins-definitely top-tier among humans. But..."
"But what?"
Emiya hesitated.
Loki prompted him.
Emiya explained,
"A martial artist like him probably believes in his fists more than in gods. I once tried recruiting Hayato Furinji, a martial arts master with no divine blessing, capable of matching first-class adventurers. But he only believes in his fists, not gods."
Loki immediately understood.
"So Makoto Kyogoku will likely be the same. He'll follow only his own strength, not divine authority."
Emiya nodded.
"Exactly. With 400 straight wins, he trusts his fists above all else."
Loki, however, was excited rather than discouraged.
"Then let me meet him!"
Seeing her determination, Emiya didn't argue.
He turned to Ais and Riveria.
"Are you two going with Loki?"
Riveria nodded.
"We'd appreciate it."
"No need for formalities," Emiya waved.
"It's no trouble."
After finishing their meal, Emiya led the three women to Professor Agasa's house.
"Change into regular clothes, and Riveria, conceal your elf identity. This is an ordinary world."
Loki smiled,
"Leave it to me."
A small spell transformed Riveria's long ears into normal human ears.
Dressed casually, she looked like a painting come to life.
Ais, with her golden hair, eyes, and loose dress, looked every bit the fantasy princess.
The three beauties walking together drew countless stares.
Emiya didn't mind at all.
Meanwhile, Makoto Kyogoku, known as "The Kick Prince," was a minor celebrity. His whereabouts were publicly known online.
A quick search showed him participating in a tournament. Coincidentally-or perhaps by Loki's luck-he had just won the championship.
Reporters swarmed him for interviews. Makoto declared his desire to study abroad, seeking top martial artists worldwide.
After the interview, Makoto went backstage, showered, changed, and was about to leave when a blonde girl stopped him.
"So beautiful!"
Makoto froze. Her natural blonde hair and delicate features were stunning.
"Can I help you?" he asked.
"I'm Ais. Loki wants to see you," she said seriously.
"Who?" Makoto frowned.
"Loki?" he assumed it was a nickname, not the Norse god.
"Please follow me," Ais said.
Makoto was taken aback. Just follow her? Casual.
Ais walked a few steps, stopping when he hesitated.
"Why aren't you coming?"
Makoto realized this was a challenge.
He wasn't afraid of a girl, especially when confident in his fists. He followed.
They arrived at a park with a fountain. On a nearby bench sat three people: Emiya, Loki, and Riveria.
Makoto was amazed at Loki and Riveria. He thought Ais was exceptional-but now he saw two more breathtaking women.
However, Makoto Kyogoku was not a pervert. He glanced at Emiya.
"Are you Loki? What do you want with me?"
For a moment, Emiya and Loki shared a look-Makoto had assumed Emiya was Loki.
Emiya pointed at the red-haired goddess lounging arrogantly on the bench.
"You're mistaken. This is Loki."
Makoto Kyogoku: ???
Loki sized him up.
"So you're Makoto Kyogoku, 'The Kick Prince.' I watched your interview. You like strong opponents. Want to fight one of my people?"
Makoto's gaze shifted back to Emiya. He had misjudged him as Loki because of Emiya's strong, muscular build-typical of a martial artist.
Emiya helplessly pointed at Ais.
"Your opponent isn't me-it's her."
Makoto Kyogoku stared, bewildered.
Fight a girl? Are you serious?
Ais took a step, and in an instant, she was before him-her speed shocking.
Makoto immediately realized... he had misjudged her.
