Time Structure

Day Length: 24 hours.

Week: 10-day week called a Cycle.

Year: 36 Cycles → 360 days.

Twilight Days: 5 extra days between years, outside the normal cycle count.

Week Rhythm

2 Rest Days per Cycle → usually the 5th & 6th days. Work + rest are structured, but traditions vary by culture.

Seasons

The year is divided into four natural seasons + the Void season:

Renewal Season (Cycles 1–9)

Symbolism: hope, energy, beginnings.Nature: fresh growth, planting time.Cultural note: seen as the most "blessed" season to be born.

Blooming Season (Cycles 10–18)

Symbolism: passion, creativity, peak strength.

Nature: full vitality, flowering, expansion.

Cultural note: Many leaders and warriors claim a Blooming heritage.

Falling Season (Cycles 19–27)

Symbolism: wisdom, reflection, harvest.

Nature: cooler days, golden tones.

Cultural note: Falling-born are seen as strategic, thoughtful.

Frost Season (Cycles 28–36)

Symbolism: endurance, survival, resilience.

Nature: harsh winds, scarcity.

Cultural note: Frost-born are considered tough, enduring, and stubborn.

Void Season (5 Twilight Days)

Exists outside normal time.Considered a liminal, unsettling period.

The Twilight Days (Void Season)

Phenomenon: 5 days of perpetual twilight.

Neither full daylight nor true night — endless dusk.

No sunrise, no sunset.Creates disorientation: time feels suspended.

Historical Explanation (Cover Story)

"Remnants of the Great Upheaval" (Cycles 1–200).

Scientists claim lingering atmospheric or magnetic disturbances.

Popular saying: "The sky still remembers the breaking."

Reality (Hidden Truth)

The Pendulum of the Cosmos pauses.

Time itself resets — a universal "breath between years."Few know this truth; ancient texts hint at it.

Cultural Interpretations

Western Continent

Factories slow; artificial lights feel "wrong."

"Twilight Madness": crime, unrest, and confusion rise.

Machinery/tech malfunctions oddly.

Eastern Empire

"Days of Mourning.

"Meditation, fasting, remembrance of lost magic.

Old phrase: "When the sun forgot its purpose."

Northern Clans

"Ghost Days."Belief: spirits walk freely.

Warriors refuse combat.

Twilight-born are considered "shadow-touched."

Southern Beastkin

Called the "Neither-Time.

"Animals restless, natural order falters.

Twilight-born are seen as "between shapes" — unsettled identity.

Void-Born Children (Twilight Births)

Born in dim, unchanging light.

First breath taken in "dead air."

Universally viewed with suspicion or awe.

Cultural Beliefs:

Western Continent: "Glitched" → tech fails around them.

Eastern Empire: "Ancestor-cursed" → spiritually severed.

Northern Clans: "Weak-blooded" → unfit for warrior paths.

Southern Beastkin: "Scent-lost" → can't fully embrace beast nature.
