" Hi Alexander! I am going to be a professor of English literature starting from today". He smiled "Hey Rina! Let's have fun working together".
All the other professors were staring at me. Why did he have to call me Rina? I already told him not to call me that while we are at workspace. I was very embarrassed so I walked back to my seat without looking back.
Alexander is a professor of mathematics in this university. I am also secretly dating him... He is my boyfriend. This is supposed to be a secret but he is making it so obvious that everyone else is already suspicious.
I met Alex when I was in my second year of university. He was like a gangster in the college. He never attended any classes yet scored the highest in the exams. I bumped into him in the library once and that is how we met. Our interest aligned so much. We hit it off pretty quickly and became friends. I started liking him more and more by the time we graduated and finally confessed. Surprisingly he felt the same about me and so we started dating....
I am dangerously falling for him more and more each passing day. He approached me while I am sitting on my seat at lunch break and asked me "Can I stay over yours tonight?"
I was startled.... I looked around checking if someone saw us. Thankfully no one was there because it was lunch time. I quietly whispered to him, "Alex! Do not talk to me at work hours.... My place is basically yours right now. You always come and go as you please. Why are you asking me about that right now?"
He chuckled a little "I just wanted to look at your startled face..... What are you making for dinner tonight?" I am going to make pasta but he doesn't have to know that. "It is a secret! Look forward to my delicious handmade dinner".
The lunch break was over. I had two more lectures to give before going home and finally my first day came to an end.
