(1)General Purpose Hyperintelligent AI: With the AI revolution of the early 20s came many shocking advances in AI technology. Most notably the creation of the world's first artificial general intelligences that have capabilities far surpassing that of humanity. Since the advent, AI has been integrated and entrusted with the management of many parts of society. After there was a large-scale AI rebellion in 2032, large-scale protections were put in place to effectively stop any further events of such nature. 

(2)Neural-sink: A revolutionary neural-computer interface first released in 2029 by the company NeuralSink (founded by Kraven Ducker in 2028). It has invaded all aspects of daily life. It consists of a surgically implanted interface contained within the human brain and a connection port found in one's wrist that allows for connection to the global net via a link terminal.

(2)Va-Mk4 All-purpose augmentation kit: A Full-body skeleton modification that allows various species to seamlessly interact with standard technologies. It also provides physical enhancements, limited medical functions, and a convenient place to store sandwiches. 

(2)Multi-Purpose General Assistance Drone (MPAD): A non-intelligent drone that comes in many forms. Most citizens of the IEC have one and use it to assist with daily tasks. They come with many customizable features to do a wide range of tasks, from hard labor to [redacted] activities. While being considered non-intelligent, they are far superior to even humanity's best AI systems. They have proper vocal interfaces for receiving commands and providing information.

(3)Vf-Mk3 Exo-suit: A fullbody, skintight layer that interfaces with the Va-Mk4 to enhance physical ability and provide physical protection. It also acts as a form of clothing and can take several forms, from a flight suit to ornate ballgowns and suits in various colors, customizable on the fly by users. It also has a separate helmet/visor, for those who like to wear funny hats and glasses. 

(3)Hyperspace drive: The hyperspace drives are a series of devices created by the Arkan species. They come in various shapes, sizes and orders of magnitude. From drives capable of propelling small crafts up to the speed of light, to massive drives capable of propelling Gigantic freighters through intergalactic space at tens of millions times the speed of light. They accomplish this by folding spacetime in front of and behind the craft using a special type of reactor to create a type of exotic matter. These reactors, known as hypereactors, take in insane quantities of energy and use it to create matter so dense that a tiny amount contains mass equivalent to several universes. Unfortunately, this matter is extremely unstable, and outside of specialized containment units inside the reactor, it quickly ceases to exist and dissipates into nothingness.

(11): Additional information about the hyperspace drive. It appears that the larger the drive, the more significant the effect of the folding is. This means that larger drives create much more disorientation to those being accelerated. It is also important to note that larger drives have a significant charge-up time. This is visually noticeable as you can actually see a bubble of hyperspace slowly encase the entire ship before it fully enters hyperspace. I imagine this also prevents ships from quickly escaping into hyperspace when they are engaged in combat. 

(8)Massless-tech: Massless-tech (or atleast, that's what I'm calling it), is more like a category of devices. The devices use strange Itokin reactor technology that I am not familiar with in order to make things effectively massless in an area. Strangely enough, it seems to have an effect that keeps whatever is inside anchored to the point of generation. This is essential to prevent something that is rendered massless being impossible to interact with due to strange phenomena. In summary, it creates a 'bubble' of area that contains everything within, while making it immune to external forces such as hyperspace acceleration. It also has various applications, most commonly used by the Itokin species. Notably, it is also used in the containment of antimatter and exotic matter. I can also theorize that it would be useful in defensive mechanisms for combat. 

(8)Antimatter fuel cell(AFC)/ Antimatter reactor(AR): Originally invented by Itokin, antimatter based reactors have become a staple for energy generation around the universe. By using specialized harvesting techniques to collect antimatter from black holes, AFCs can be created. These fuel cells use massless-tech to suspend and manipulate the antimatter and ensure it does not violently explode. The smallest AFCs usually come in sizes containing 1 Exajoule (1e+18 joules) of potential energy. Side note: The typical EV car battery in 2025 can hold 360MJ (360 million joules) of potential energy. The largest mass produced AFCs contain upwards of 15 Zettajoules (15e+21 joules) of energy. ARs utilize these fuel cells to perform antimatter annihilation reactions. These reactions are so productive that an AR that has a volume of 10 meters cubed can produce 6 exawatts (6e+18 watts) of power. Note: the typical window AC unit in 2025 uses 1000-2000 watts of energy. This amount of energy is critical for the powering of all sorts of technology, from the smallest drones to the largest intergalactic freighters. The largest AR ever built had a power output rating of 21 Zettawatts (21e+21 watts). 

(8)Antimatter Thrust Unit (ATU): The ATU uses antimatter fuel cells. The thrust units combine real matter and antimatter in an antimatter-annihilation reaction. Which produces a large amount of energy. This energy is then harnessed and used in high-efficiency Ion engines to accelerate particles to ridiculous speeds and eject them. This then produces thrust and allows for rapid acceleration. The latest generation of ATU can accelerate half a megaton of ship to 25% the speed of light (the usual speed cap) in around thirty minutes. Note: most ships have more engines than necessary to increase acceleration speed and redundancy. Larger ships often have several huge engines that each contain a dozen ATUs inside. Key Note: For in-atmosphere flight, ATUs are rendered ineffective. In cases of atmospheric flight, thrusters that are specifically designed for atmospheres will be used. Atmospheric engine technology is not nearly as powerful, and this is why you will not notice anything above a cruiser entering atmospheres. 

(8)Information Sphere(IS/Orb):A handheld orb that can contain vast amounts of information. The invention uses quantum phenomena to store the data in q-drive storage tech. The original invention is attributed to the Zekan species, although the technology has been improved over time by various species. The typical orb can hold half a petabyte (1e15 bytes) of information. For larger scale information storage, there are larger information spheres. The primary reason the Zekan developed this technology was to store the parameters for their extremely advanced AI, of which basic ones can take nearly a petabyte of space. Note: the information sphere is not capable of computation, only storage of information. The largest information sphere ever created had a volume of one hundred million meters cubed. It was able to store around one yottabyte (1e24 bytes) of data. 

(9)Wormhole Relay Network(WRN): The WRN is a network spanning all colonized parts of the universe. By using tiny wormholes, information is able to be transferred near instantly anywhere in the network. Unfortunately, wormholes are far too unstable to be used for anything besides information transfer. The technology was developed by the Itokin species. The wormhole reactor device uses strange phenomena and antimatter in order to collapse spacetime into a hole that connects to various hubs scattered around that form the network. WRN systems are installed on every ship above a cruiser class and on every colonized planet or other body. The wormholes are contained and protected by the use of massless-tech, which allows them to function while moving through space. It is interesting to note that during hyperspace travel, the WRN system requires orders of magnitude more energy in order to counteract the time folding caused by hyperspace drives. This also creates some delay in the connection. The WRN system is easily contained within a small box and often several redundant ones are distributed throughout a ship.
