Chapter 22 - A quarl between.

"What? You went to help that lady when you told me you were going to pee?" Sillia asked, surprise evident in her voice, having just witnessed the woman's profuse thanks and praise for Sky.

"Yeah. I mean, what's the point? I went to help her, but you got in trouble, so it's a total waste," Sky said with a sigh.

"Shut up, I wasn't in trouble! But why did you do that? I mean, I really don't understand the reason to leave me to help her. I'm not saying you did anything bad or that I was in trouble, but why did you help her?" Sillia pressed, her curiosity piqued.

"I've already bragged to you, that's why," Sky replied calmly, looking up at the sky.

"You mean you did that because you wanted to show off, right?" Sillia asked. Sky, not fully grasping her conclusion, still agreed.

"Yeah, something like that."

"Then why didn't you tell me about it earlier or help her in front of me? Wouldn't that be more of a show-off?" Sillia asked, leaving Sky momentarily confused. Does she really think I did that to show off?

"Well, that's because my work speaks for itself, see? Isn't it showing off itself? Although it was pure coincidence that lady had to return today and we happened to meet here, but who cares," Sky replied with a smile. Sillia looked at him, seemingly processing something, then nodded.

"Yeah, it sure is a good show-off, but you don't need to do such things without my knowledge. What if, while helping that lady, you got yourself in trouble or injured yourself? Then would I just keep standing there, not even able to help you, or should I just keep standing there the entire day?" Sillia said with a thoughtful expression.

"You're thinking too much. I do things I'm confident about," Sky said calmly.

"I understand, but if you ever feel like doing such a thing, to show off or for any reason, at least tell me before leaving. Otherwise, I would have thought you were still in the bathroom even if you didn't return due to getting yourself in trouble," Sillia said with a serious tone.

"Hmm, I understand."

"I'm not done. Should I scold you just like you were scolding me a moment ago?" Sillia asked with a smile.

"You don't need to. I understand it doesn't worth it at all to help anyone. When you are in trouble…?" Sky said with a hint of disappointment.

"What the hell! I told you I wasn't in trouble! But you sure were! What if that thief might have injured you, huh?" Sillia asked, her tone a little angry.

"Hmm, I unde—wait a sec. I'm the older one; you don't need to teach me what to do or not. I'll do whatever I want. You don't need to be my older sister and lecture me. You're only mature by looks, not by brain," Sky suddenly stated, remembering his position as the older brother and that Sillia was trying to lecture him.

"I'm not teaching you anything, neither am I being an older sister. I'm concerned," Sillia said calmly, looking at him.

"Hmmm," Sky hummed. As time passed, they met their uncle and aunt, who had come to their house to spend two hours before leaving.

"What, leaving already?" Sky asked, confused.

"Yeah, we have to go, dear," Sky's aunt said with a smile. She looked at Sillia for a brief moment before saying, "You've really become a mature girl. Otherwise, do you know, Sky, she used to be so bad-mouthed and rude before, but when you came, it looks like a miracle that she is so well-behaved and calm, just like you." His aunt's revelation surprised Sky; he hadn't known this about Sillia.

"Yes, of course. Sky does have some calming effect on others," Sky's mother said with a giggle. Sillia glared at her aunt like a tigress, wishing she could devour her for that comment before they left.

After their relatives departed, Sky, Sillia, and their mother talked in the hall.

"So, what do you think about Uncle, Sky?" Mother asked with a slight smile.

"He seems good. Nothing wrong," Sky replied briefly. His mother nodded in agreement.

"Nah, I don't like him," Sillia interjected.

"Huh? Why? I don't see any problem? By the way, Mother, was Sillia really that bad-mouthed when she was here?" Sky suddenly asked, drawing a sharp "No need to say that, Mom" from Sillia. Their mother looked at her daughter before lightly nodding at them both.

"Yes, she was, but not now. Now she is a very good girl," Mother said with a smile, caressing Sillia's head a little before leaving to do her work. Meanwhile, Sillia puffed her cheeks.

"Why are you so interested in knowing that, huh?" Sillia asked.

"Well, of course, because I want to know what chaos you made when you were here on your own for five years. You know, I want to know about your mental state here. They didn't torture you, right?" Sky asked, his expression calm but his tone serious, implying a threat if they had they he would do something. Sillia looked at his seriousness before smiling to herself.

"You don't need to be that serious; it was nothing much when I was here alone. Since I was young, they taught me to be mannered and disciplined, which, of course, as a child, I didn't like; it felt like taking my freedom. You know how strict they are?" Sillia explained.

"Hmm."

"Like, you know, you never stop me from doing whatever I want, but they always say, 'Sillia, do this, do that, don't do that.' It irritated me too much. You see, you also told me to be well-mannered, but I eventually ignored it, as by my personality, I don't take your words seriously. Like, I don't washed my clothes there; I don't need to wear such clothes when we live together, I don't even need to help you to cook or something I only help you if i feel like it. So yeah, I feel like it's more freedom. To be specific, you really are good to me. That's made me good to others. So yeah, you do have some effect on me," Sillia explained with deep thoughts. Sky wondered, This much was going through your mind, while I just left you like a brat to do whatever you want.

"No, of course not! You don't leave me alone; you work for me because I am your young lady, and you are my butler," Sillia said with a giggle as she pulled him closer to her with his neck bringing him closer to her face looking directly in his eyes before going to her room. Sky remained calm as he looked at her back, then called out loudly, "I spoiled you! "

"Of course, you did, brother! Haha," Sillia replied with a laugh before disappearing. A message came in Sky's phone, and he also turned to leave the house.
