Chapter 23 - Kuin returned.

After Sillia's laughter faded down the hallway, Sky watched her disappear into her room. A notification pinged on his phone. It was from Isha, a number she'd wheedled out of him over the past week.

The message was stark: "If you want to save this bitch, come to the same place within this evening, otherwise… you won't find your girlfriend…" Sky's lips curled into a faint, knowing smirk. It was around 2 PM. "The fun has finally begun," he thought, before launching himself into the sky with incredible speed, heading for the mountains. He soon reached the desolate heart of the forest, going directly to the familiar spot where he'd first confronted Kuin.

Meanwhile, deep within the forest, Kuin's brow furrowed in confusion. "So you claim to be that guy's girlfriend, huh?" He couldn't fathom why anyone would choose "this bitch" as a partner. But what can I say? I've heard love is blind, Kuin mused, a wide, predatory grin spreading across his face as he observed Isha. She sat calmly on the ground, making no effort to flee or even stir. She understood the futility of resistance; this monster could extinguish her life at any given moment.

"Why do you keep capturing me?" Isha asked, her voice surprisingly steady. She wasn't bound, merely seated casually, as if her predicament held little sway over her. "I understand why you captured me today, but what about that day…?" Her question sparked a flicker of suspicion in Kuin's eyes. This bitch doesn't seem scared at all. It's completely unlike last time. There's no desperation in her eyes, her face, or her voice. She's not afraid of me at all; it seems some 'need' has made her recall something. Kuin thought, before speaking with a wide, disturbing grin.

"The reason for your capture last time was simply to gaze upon that expansive, succulent ass of yours, with those plump, thick thighs, so much soft flesh. I desire to consume that butt of yours. I want to savor its taste; it appears delectable as hell. Especially that wide, thick, round, and tender butt." Kuin articulated, his voice thick with greedy anticipation, licking his lips as saliva filled his mouth.

"Ewww… Gross…" Isha recoiled. She initially thought he was referencing her allure, but the chilling reality dawned on her: he genuinely intended to devour her flesh and bones.

"Gross? No, tasty…" Kuin countered with a psychopathic smile, moving closer to Isha. She instantly became defensive, pulling back.

"What the hell are you doing?! Do you wish to be brutalized by him?!" she demanded, instinctively shielding her chest.

"He hasn't arrived yet, and we are uncertain if he even will. Furthermore, you offer no entertainment, and boredom is setting in. So, how about this: run for your life. If you can escape far enough, I will release you. Even if he fails to appear today," Kuin proposed, his eyes fixated on her exposed, white, succulent thighs beneath her skirt.

"Hah! Do you take me for an imbecile? I will not succumb to the same stratagem twice. I clearly perceive those sharpened knives at your waist," Isha retorted, her voice attempting a tough facade. Yet, her heart hammered against her ribs, betraying the terror she fought to conceal. Only she knew the fervent prayers she was uttering for Sky's swift arrival. Each passing second was an unfolding nightmare.

"See… no fun. Then what recourse do I have? I cannot merely sit here, bored, engaging in idle chatter with you. I intend to indulge in your flesh until that man arrives. I will consume you slowly and calmly, fret not, I won't extinguish your life. When he does appear, I will ensure he witnesses you begging and weeping, as I ruthlessly excise each piece of flesh from your body, chew your bones, and drink your blood. I yearn to observe his reaction to such a spectacle. But until then, I shall merely slice through your skin, tasting that softness and savoring your essence until his arrival," Kuin declared, advancing towards her. He produced a knife from his waist, gripping it firmly. This time, Isha could discern the pure, psychopathic intent in his gaze, reminding her of the agonizing suffering she'd endured last time.

Driven by sheer instinct, she desperately tried to flee as he advanced. But before she could take even a single step, Kuin moved with flawless precision, seizing her ankle and effortlessly yanking her towards him. Extreme panic seized her, and she shrieked loudly.

"AGHHHH… LEAVE ME, YOU MONSTER… Agghghhh no, don't do that, don't bring that knife! Help, someone help… Sky… MY LORD, HELP!" Isha screamed, frantically struggling to break free, but against Kuin's brutish strength, escape was an impossibility. She watched in horror as he brought the knife towards her thighs, intent on carving a slice from her thick flesh.

The moment the sharp tip pierced her skin, her eyes instantly welled with tears. The pain, searing through her brain, forced a desperate cry from her lips. Despite her frantic attempts, moving even an inch was an agonizing impossibility. Tears streamed freely down her cheeks as she clenched her teeth, battling the intense agony, and a single drop of blood emerged from her smooth, porcelain skin.

"My lord… Sob… sob… please… so help…" Isha whimpered, clinging to a final thread of hope as the penetrating pain coursed through her body. She could no longer contain her emotions; she collapsed into desperate, ragged sobs, calling out to her lord repeatedly until her throat burned with undeniable agony.

"Wow, quite a scene," a voice suddenly cut through the air. A ray of hope ignited within her as she recognized the familiar timbre. Her tear-blurred eyes lifted towards the approaching figure. She hastily wiped away some tears to gain a clearer view, still breathless from her desperate crying.

"Igg… My… lord… sob… Help me…" Isha finally mustered the strength to call for aid, though her throat screamed in pain. Then, once more, she broke into agonizing sobs, the words themselves inflicting fresh agony.

"Oh, so you have come…" Kuin remarked, his awareness sharpening. He released Isha's ankle and withdrew his knife from her skin, giving his full, undivided attention to the newcomer. He knew this was not an adversary to be taken lightly, remembering all too well the crushing consequences of his arrogance last time.
