Chapter 41 - Yang Release Nintaijutsu?

Late at night.

The window of Shinji's room was still lit.

He flipped through the scroll in his hand, noting down the points he found in his notebook.

Recently, he had been continuously using Yang Attribute Chakra to nourish his body. He noticed that his body's recovery ability, enhanced by the Yang Attribute Chakra, seemed to have strengthened even further.

The reason for this discovery was that he had been frequently using Shadow Clones to teach Naruto and others, and after dismissing the Shadow Clones, he no longer felt the difficulty of processing a massive amount of information at once, unlike before.

Afterward, he embarked on another trip to the library. However, this time he was searching for all information related to the First Hokage. After all, when it came to the most masterful use of Yang Attribute Chakra, none surpassed Hashirama.

"As expected, there's almost no useful information." Shinji put down the scroll, pinching the bridge of his nose as he muttered.

Recently, he had almost scoured the entire Konoha library but still hadn't found anything he was looking for.

The information about Hashirama only detailed how he contended with numerous Sengoku era clans and established Konoha. As for information about battles and such, there was almost none.

If the Aratani clan hadn't lent their documents to Tobirama back then, perhaps he could have found something.

However, he wasn't entirely without harvest. After all, the library's catalog was constantly updated but never reduced. He searched through the catalog and found that many books had disappeared. Or, while the books existed, some pages within them had been torn out.

Regarding subjects related to cell activation or human cloning, Hashirama was definitely the most prevalent example in the entire Naruto series.

Danzo's arm, Tenzo's sole surviving human embryo, and Hashirama's face on Madara's chest.

Regeneration, Wood Release, Yang Attribute, Sage Art.

Shinji leaned against the wall behind him, and terms related to Hashirama flashed through his mind. Vaguely, it felt like he was about to grasp something.

That's right!

Tsunade's Ninja Art: Creation Rebirth.

It is well known that Tsunade's ultimate technique is Hashirama's passive ability.

Tsunade's strongest Ninjutsu was merely created by drawing inspiration from a passive ability of her grandfather, Hashirama.

Regeneration, Yang Attribute.

These two terms gradually converged.

Shinji took out a kunai and cut his palm. Within a few moments, the wound healed. The healing time was similar to the last time he had made a light cut, which confirmed his inner thoughts.

Let's assume Hashirama was born with a flawless Yang Attribute Chakra physique, a monster.

And after he gradually mastered the Water and Earth attributes in his later years, he instinctively created Wood Release Kekkei Genkai.

Even the formation of a Tailed Beast Ball has a specific ratio, let alone Wood Release.

Then, with the enhancement of Wood Release and his own Yang Attribute Chakra physique, he developed his unique and perfect Sage Mode.

Instinct, unique.

Is it because of Asura's Chakra?

Shinji fell silent at this thought.

The difficulty of gathering these elements was less than him currently forming a Rasengan and killing Kaguya. The latter, at least, had a chance.

He can't manage Sage Art: Wood Release, but there's no reason he can't achieve Yang Release Nintaijutsu.

After discarding unrealistic ideas, his thoughts instantly became clear.

— — —

Three months passed in the blink of an eye, and it was now the scorching hot July.

Inside the training ground where Shinji practiced daily.

The training ground occasionally echoed with the roar of Wind Release and heavy thuds.

Inside the arena, Naruto and Choji faced each other, their clothes covered in dust.

Shinji stood nearby, arms crossed, ready to intervene at any moment.

Outside the arena, Shikamaru, sitting to the side, yawned a bit bored, yet his eyes were constantly fixed on Naruto and Choji in the arena.

Ino was busy cheering on the two of them from the side.

Seeing Naruto still standing, Choji, feeling his Chakra almost depleted, gritted his teeth and raised his hand to form another hand seal.

Empty Crash!

As the jutsu was completed, Choji's right hand gradually expanded to several times larger than his body. Then, the giant arm easily picked up large chunks of scattered rubble and, in a baseball pitcher's stance, rapidly threw the rubble continuously towards Naruto.

Naruto, seeing the giant rocks flying at him from all directions, seemed to have no choice but to jump around, dodging them.

"Haha! Naruto, I win!" Choji exclaimed with a look of surprise.

Shikamaru, outside the arena, covered his forehead in exasperation. "Idiot, celebrating early, if you don't lose, who will?"

Ino, who was worried that Naruto would be hit by the rubble, loudly told Naruto to get out of the way, "Naruto! Get out of the way!"

"Huh?"

But then she heard what Shikamaru said, and just as she was about to ask—

Bang!

The sound of a Shadow Clone dispersing rang out.

Inside the arena, Naruto was hit by a rock while dodging and instantly exploded into a puff of smoke.

Seeing this, Choji immediately dispelled his Partial Expansion Jutsu and warily looked around.

Bang!

A sound of breaking ground echoed.

Naruto suddenly burst out from the rubble beneath Choji's feet, delivering a straight punch towards Choji's chin. Choji instinctively tried to raise his hands to block, but it was too late. Naruto's fist struck his chin, sending him flying. He crashed heavily onto the ground, his eyes starting to resemble swirl patterns.

Shinji instantly appeared beside Choji, his hands glowing with Chakra as he nourished Choji's injured area. He helped Choji sit up.

After a while, Choji, who had recovered, looked at Shinji and said with a somewhat aggrieved expression, "Sensei, I lost again."

"It's just one bento, do you two really need to be so serious?" Shinji asked, looking at Naruto and Choji who were walking over, a bit helpless.

Seeing the way Naruto and Choji had just confronted each other, it seemed as if they were fighting for their lives.

Who would have thought it was all for a bento?

Naruto and Choji spoke in unison, "Of course, it's necessary!"

"Only the ones Shinji-sensei makes himself are delicious. The ones your Shadow Clone makes taste completely different."

Shinji's first Shadow Clone, who was about to put down the bento box nearby, froze in place upon hearing this.

Maybe I should just leave.
