Larissa Jenica's fingers found mine across the table, giving them a reassuring squeeze.
"Look, Rissa, we're not pushing you to jump into bed with anyone," she said softly. "But what are you going to do when the chemistry gets too intense to ignore? When you're both practically combusting from wanting each other?"
The question hit me harder than I expected. I'd been trying not to think about those exact scenarios.
"I'll figure it out when it happens," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
"Honey, that moment might arrive sooner than you're prepared for," Rosemary said, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Sexual tension like yours doesn't just disappear."
