The snow fell quietly onto the mountain like a white blanket.
The first scouts reached out to him with their minds. Their very presence in his mind disgusting him to no end. But he needed this, he refused to be made a fool of again.
He thought back to a few months ago when he felt the connection to Upper Moon Two get shattered. Douma had been one of his strongest.
Despite his hatred for the lack of fear Douma showed. He couldn't refute the fact that the loss of Douma was a crippling blow.
What more, it wasn't one of those pathetic Demon Slayers that killed Douma. It had been a complete unknown. A demon that he didn't create himself according to the last images he had seen from Douma's point of view before the demon died.
"Ryoiki Tenkai… Fukuma Mizushi."
That voice had been like a thorn to his side. How dare that unknown demon exist without his consent. He swore that he would find that demon and make it bow to his will.
The scouting party he had sent out to the mountain had been waiting patiently as he reflected. He frowned at how pathetic they were.
'Speak…' He thought out.
'N-nothing unusual Muzan-sama. The family seems to be sleeping in their home. Just a woman and her six children.'
Muzan remained silent for a moment, then stood up from his chair. He sent a mental order to the scouts telling them to keep watching the family.
Turning to the woman kneeling beside him he gave an order.
"Nakime… deliver me to the foot of that mountain. I'll put an end to that accursed line once and for all."
She didn't reply with words. With a sharp twang of her biwa, a doorway opened before him and he stepped through.
Muzan glanced around the snowy landscape with his coat draped over his shoulder. His steps unhurried as he made his way up the mountain. His thoughts already savouring the slaughter he had pictured in his head.
Each step he took, he imagined the screams and the cries for mercy this family would beg for once he started tearing them apart.
He would have been salivating had he been one of his lesser creations. The thought of torment and destruction making him shiver in excitement rather than the cold.
'Then I'll find that unknown demon… break him slowly. RIP everything away from him.'
As he drew closer to the mountain top his steps slowed significantly. A frown marred his face as he caught the scent of an unknown. His scouts had also fallen silent at the sight of a man casually stretching at the front of the house as if nothing was wrong.
Muzan felt some familiarity at the sight of the man. The snow white hair, air of superiority, the irritating smirk.
The man raised his hand, "Yo."
[Scene Break] (POV Shift)
The Kamado family was currently hiding away in the cellar of their home. I had convinced Kie that the 'criminal' I was chasing was someone who liked to go after kids.
'Heh… take that Muzan you fucking Kiddie Diddler.'
I had left my nichirin blade with Kie to give to Kamado if anything happened. But I doubted that anyone would get past me.
Demons might not have cursed energy making them untraceable with my extra senses, but I wasn't blind, nor was I deaf.
I heard the fuckers surrounding the house from the cover of the trees before the Six Eyes saw them. I was currently lounging in the kitchen sipping tea while waiting for Muzan.
The sliding door was open a crack so I could see outside. So far only the mook cannon fodder demons had shown up. I heard the faint sound of a biwa getting strummed earlier but clearly Muzan was taking his sweet ass time.
'Another reason to dunk on this fucker.'
One reason I hadn't gone out of my way to kill him was the fact that all demons would die once he was killed and I'm pretty sure that friendly medicine lady demon would die too.
'Tomato? No… Tamayo… that's it. She had a pretty tragic story too, I could save her as well.'
I heard the sound of snow shifting and grinned. After checking behind me to where the trap door to the cellar was secured, I stood up and took off my haori.
I slid open the door all the way and stepped out. I heard the demons freeze in place when they saw me. I grinned to no one in particular and started doing stretching exercises.
Footsteps in the snow drew closer and I finally looked up at Muzan who stood across from me in the snow.
"Yo." I waved casually.
Muzan frowned, looking at me like I was some sort of insect. My grin widened.
"You sure kept me waiting Muzan." I drawled as I slowly took off my shades.
Muzan stared at me unimpressed, the underbrush stirred as a group of demons emerged from the tree line. My grin sharpened into something evil.
Tattoos swirled onto my face as a second set of eyes appeared. I tucked my hands into my pockets and savoured the uncertainty I felt from Muzan.
"You…" Muzan hissed.
"Me…" I drawled in reply.
In this form, I couldn't access Limitless. Strange I know, but I figured Sukuna accessing Megumi's Ten Shadows technique in the show had been the result of his soul possessing Megumi's body.
In my case, I was both Satoru Gojo and Ryomen Sukuna. Without Sukuna's soul, I couldn't access both ability sets unless I went full Lobotomy Kaisen and used the final form. But even without Limitless/Infinite, I was still more than confident in my skills.
An inhuman sound left Muzan's mouth as he stepped back and ordered his goons to 'handle' me.
Demon henchman # 1, drops low and tries to take out my legs. I jump over him easily and flip to catch his face in my hand. I slam him to the ground and turn him into hamburger meat with Cleave.
Demon henchman # 2, follows immediately trying to catch me by surprise. Lunges at me with a feral grin. I slash my hand through the air and cut the woman in half. Splattering the snow with her blood.
Demon henchman # 3, now nervous, circles me as he watches the female demon I cut in half begin to try and pull herself together.
I glance over to Muzan who's angrily staring at me. Still rooted in the same spot. The third henchman helps his comrade put herself together with a nasty squelch.
The two demons rush at me together.
"Good you're learning… still not enough though." I grin coldly.
My hands come up and I form the Enma hand sign. I see Muzan's face morph into one of worry. My grin widens.
"Domain Expansion… Malevolent Shrine."
