Chapter 34 - Visiting Da Xiong's House

Especially after Lin Feng nodded in agreement, Pang Hu and Xiao Fu were overjoyed.

If their relationship was a bit closer, Pang Hu might have given Lin Feng a bear hug to show his gratitude.

Unfortunately, they were only just getting acquainted.

Moreover, Pang Hu and Xiao Fu still felt somewhat indebted and guilty towards Lin Feng.

Because when Lin Feng first arrived, Pang Hu and Xiao Fu, disliking his arrogant attitude, had planned to give him a hard time.

But it hadn't worked out in the end.

That matter was in the past, and Pang Hu and Xiao Fu certainly wouldn't bring it up now.

As for Lin Feng, with an adult's mindset, there was no need to hold a grudge against these elementary school students. Since they now wanted to get along with him, Lin Feng simply went along with it.

Seeing Lin Feng agree, Pang Hu's mood was also greatly improved. He greeted Lin Feng directly, then returned to his seat with Xiao Fu.

Da Xiong, seeing Pang Hu leave, visibly breathed a sigh of relief.

After giving Lin Feng a somewhat embarrassed smile, he scurried back to his own seat.

The afternoon classes ended quickly. Just as Lin Feng and Jing Xiang stood up to pack their bags, Da Xiong ran over again with his backpack.

It was clear that, having temporarily forgotten the morning's quiz, he was still very happy.

Because today was the day he was inviting Lin Feng to his home as a guest. Yesterday, Da Xiong had told his family, including Doraemon, that he would invite a new classmate from the class to visit.

Both Da Xiong's parents and Doraemon were quite welcoming of the new classmate.

"Da Xiong, you seem very happy," Lin Feng asked, unable to help but be curious, seeing how excited Da Xiong was.

"Yeah, yeah. After I told Doraemon yesterday, he was also very interested in you, Lin Feng, and wanted to get to know you quickly."

Da Xiong nodded with a smile, speaking very affirmatively.

Lin Feng wondered if Doraemon, whom Da Xiong mentioned, was interested in him as a person, or if it was his manga that caught the robot's attention.

But for Lin Feng, it didn't really matter. If Doraemon was interested in his manga, it was essentially the same as being interested in him.

If the negotiations went smoothly, then after Lin Feng borrowed some gadgets from Doraemon, his drawing speed would significantly increase.

If he could reach the standard for submitting to a publishing house, then all the subsequent problems could be solved.

"Since that's settled, let's head out."

Lin Feng didn't have anything to pack, so he just tossed his stuff into his bag and they were ready to go.

Jing Xiang was in a similar situation, and after she was ready, the three of them walked out of the classroom together.

Da Xiong had originally wanted to invite Jing Xiang to come over to his place too, but Jing Xiang had something to take care of at home today and needed to go back early.

So, she wouldn't be able to join Lin Feng at Da Xiong's place today.

Da Xiong was a little disappointed, but there was nothing he could do.

Anyway, Jing Xiang often visited Da Xiong's house. Missing one time wasn't a big deal.

After they parted ways at a certain intersection, Jing Xiang said goodbye to Da Xiong and Lin Feng before heading home.

Da Xiong then led Lin Feng towards his house.

While passing a certain snack shop, Lin Feng paused slightly.

If he remembered correctly, Doraemon's favorite food should be Dorayaki.

"Da Xiong, wait for me here for a moment."

No matter what, Doraemon was a beautiful fantasy from everyone's childhood. On their first meeting, Lin Feng felt he should bring a small gift.

After all, who could refuse a blue robot cat who constantly pulled out magical gadgets from his stomach pocket?

"Lin Feng, you seem to know Doraemon very well..."

Looking at the Dorayaki that Lin Feng had bought, Da Xiong said with some curiosity.

"Well, I heard some things from Jing Xiang before, so I know a little," Lin Feng said with a slight smile, speaking casually. After all, some things didn't need to be explained in too much detail.

Anyway, with Da Xiong's intelligence, sometimes if you told him too much, he wouldn't understand it.

"So that's how it is. Lin Feng, you're really a thoughtful person. My house is just ahead; it's right around the corner."

After hearing Lin Feng say that, Da Xiong nodded and didn't ask any more questions. Instead, he was even more excited as he led Lin Feng towards his house.

Lin Feng looked at Da Xiong, whose smile was carefree, and shook his head with a slight, helpless smile.

I hope this naive guy will still be so happy in a couple of days, after the results of the pop quiz come out…

After the two of them walked for a short while, after turning a corner past a courtyard wall, the familiar two-story building appeared in front of Lin Feng.

"We're here, Lin Feng! This is my house!"

"Right."

Lin Feng smiled and nodded, following Da Xiong.

Anyone who's watched Doraemon should be very familiar with Da Xiong's house, and Lin Feng was no exception.

Perhaps the feeling hadn't been so strong when he was outside Jing Xiang's house.

Although Da Xiong often went to Jing Xiang's to play in the original story, Jing Xiang's house didn't really have any outstanding features. The only thing worth remembering was probably the blue roof.

But Da Xiong's house, from the courtyard walls to the entrance, from the first floor to the second, and then to Da Xiong's room where his dreams began, always left a deep impression.

"Lin Feng, what are you looking at? Come on in!"

Seeing Lin Feng standing at the gate of the courtyard, gazing at his house with a somewhat complex expression on his face, Da Xiong, standing at the gate, couldn't help but turn around and ask.

"Are you coming?"

Hearing Da Xiong's slightly urging words, Lin Feng smiled faintly, gathering his thoughts.

Just now, at the gate, he was indeed a little emotional. When dreams come true, everything seems to change.

Thinking of the fact that he was about to get close to Doraemon, a character from his childhood, Lin Feng's emotions also contained a hint of anticipation.
