So yea, let me just give you the gist.

I am a nerdy, quiet…well, one could say…boring… Omega everyone loves to pick  on because I look too naive, but really, I think they are all just jealous because I am pretty.

That single red dot on the TV screen froze my lungs, froze my pulse, froze the very air in my throat. Goosebumps prickled down my arms as the laser slid off the glass, then my instinct snapped me down.


The gunshot tore through the room, the bullet missing my head by a whisper, close enough that I felt the air burn past my ear. The television exploded in a spray of glass and static, sparks hissing in the darkened room.


"Oh my God..was that…was that a gunshot?.". Fear crackled down my spine, I couldn't think for a second and then suddenly my mind screamed one thing "Run!!".


I pushed off the sofa, aiming straight for the door, but a shadow moved, making me stop dead in my tracks.
