"W...wai...wait.What do you mean. I never said I liked him!" Sophia's voice cracked slightly, showing she was nervous.
Some students in the hallway were attracted when Sophia's voice rang out loud in the hallway. They seemed to have heard something interesting. Some began to giggle and whisper to each other. But soon, the students in the hallway began to disperse one after the other, after receiving an angry glare from Sophia. She was one of the most feared and respected presences in the school; hence, no one dared to get on her bad side.
Lisa raised an eyebrow as a playful smile appeared on her lips. "Oh, come on Sophia who even asked you if you liked him or not?. Lisa finally came to Angela's rescue. "Don't be like that! You can't honestly say you are not at least, a little curious about him. I mean, he is definitely cute, right?" Plus, you have been trying to get close to him since last term don't you?.
Sophia felt her cheeks heating up even more. She sighed nervously and spoke. "It's not like that. I don't have a crush on him. I was just trying to be friends with him so he could help me with my studies." Her words spilled out in a rush as she desperately tried to suppress the embarrassment that was threatening to explode from her face.
"Is it too obvious?." She thought to herself and shook her head, telling her self it wasn't. But she suspected her friends might have already caught on to something.
Angela, now looking a bit guilty, sighed. "I'm sorry Sophia. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. I was just joking"...
"Hahahaha"
Lisa laughed, clearly enjoying the playful banter. "Looks like our queen has a skeleton in her cupboard" she teased as she raised an eyebrow, giving Sophia a knowing look.
Sophia crossed her arms defensively, shaking her head with a smile on her face. She shifted her attention toward the entrance of the classroom, and before she realized it, her eyes were already fixed on Jovan as he stood there chatting with Jason.
Sophia was suddenly lost in her own world as she stared at Jovan. The way his eyes lit up when he talked to Jason, the way he walked, and the way he smiled really made her heart flutter.
"It's okay. Sophia"
Lisa teasing voice pulled her back to reality.
"You don't have to tell us everything. But if you ever want to spill the tea..." Lisa said and winked at her.
Sophia let out an amused sigh. Honestly she knew her friends were impossible to deal with.
... CLASSROOM...
The classroom was a bit rowdy and noisy. Some students were sitting on top of their desks, some were busy chatting and laughing, while others were reading their books and getting ready for the next lesson.
"Why is your face like that?...did something happen?" Jason asked as he noticed that Jovan seemed unhappy...
"Pheww!... I just remembered that I have lost my necklace" Jovan answered
"Y,...you lost what!. Where, how." Jason asked sharply.
"I don't know the exact location, I just couldn't find it this morning." Jovan explained.
"You better go and find it, I'm not letting you off this time" Jason said while acting as if he was angry.
"Yoooh... what's happening here Sweety?, why beating him up over a spilled milk" An unexpected guy appeared from no where.
This is Jerry Hawkins, the dumbest and craziest guy in the class. He is a hair lover, Someone who loved his hair a bit too much, that he will be more than willing to kill anyone who dared to touched his hair. He always walks around with a comb and a mirror, to ensure that his hair is in order. he makes crazy jokes in the class without a care in the world who's in the classroom, even Mr Benjamin who was known for being strict and hard on the students gets a headache whenever he hears the name "Jerry".
"Who told you it's ordinary!!!."....The two shouted at him.
Jerry was startled for a second "I...i thought you two were fighting just now... seriously?."
This necklace was custom-made, they personally requested it from a jewelry store. It's a gold-colored necklace with the letter "J" hanging on it, which is a symbol of their friendship.
"Hahaha.. hahahaha" a sudden laughter rang out by the side, and soon a guy approached them, His name was Kelvin Alston, also known as "the fatty." He was indeed overweight, a stout boy with dark hair and a round face.
Kelvin had a reputation for his unbelievable appetite. he could devour a meal meant for three people in one go without batting an eye, and he always had a stash of snacks in his bag for emergency reasons.

"You don't even know these two, Even when they fight don't even try to settle them, or else they will use you to settle their differences." Fatty said as he sat down on Jason's desk while putting a handful of snacks in his mouth.

The desk suddenly give a cracking sound.
Jason's eyes went wide "you lump of mass" Get up!!... it's going to break." Jason panicked.
Fatty quickly stood up with a weird smile on his face while scratching his head, an feeling embarrassed.
"Haaii...you would have told God to create you just as perfect as I'm" Jerry said and raised his hands like a choir master, and used his pinky to comb his hair slightly while posing like a model.
"Crazy b*stard" Jason said as he payed no attention to the weirdo in front of him.
Jovan shook his head and smiled, as he continued to solve the maths question's on his desk without getting involve in their pointless banter.
"But wait" Jerry said with a serious tone, drawing everybody's attention.
"Fatty aren't going to get married in the future?" Jerry suddenly asked.
"Of course I will, and I will marry a pretty one too" Kelvin said with a smile blossoming on his chubby face.
"Are you serious?, my God, she's dead" Jerry said with a crazy look on his face.
"Can you imagine a 450 pound on top of you?...they is no hope. No girl would want to commit such suicide. Just accept your fate of being a bachelor for life"..
Immediately the last sentence left jerry's mouth, Half of the class busted into laughter.
Seeing him standing there without any reaction, Jerry waved his hand in front of his face, but it seemed like Fatty had gone into a daze from the mental attack.
