Knock! Knock!
At that moment while student were introducing themself one by one, there was a knock on the classroom door.
"Gojo-sensei, may I come in?"
A middle-aged man's voice can be heard from outside the classroom.
"Please, come in."
Hearing the voice, Gojo already knew who it was.
The principal of Sobu High.
The classroom door opened, and a middle-aged man in a suit stepped in, his faced filled with uneasy that is hard to hide.
While, the principal was coming inside the classroom, several school shareholders can be seen trailed behind him but they stayed outside in the corridor, as if not daring to enter.
The bald principal—no, more properly, Kento Yamamoto.
The moment Yamamoto walked in, his bald head—shining under the sunlight—instantly drew the attention of the entire class.
No one was able to look away from that shiny head.
At just the right angle, the sunlight bounced off his Mediterranean dome and reflected white light across the room.
Blinding…!
Students blinked in shock.
"Yo, what brings the principal here?" Gojo asked with his usual chuckle, while already guessing the reason for which the principal decided to visit.
"Nothing urgent. I just came to remind Gojo-sensei—after this lesson ends, please lead Class F to the gymnasium. Their will be a speech that will be given for the Students and the Teachers. And sorry to trouble you."
Kento Yamamoto's tone was unusually respectful.
Certainly not the way a Principal would speak to an ordinary teacher.
"Alright, I'll take them after class." Gojo nodded.
"Then I leave it to you."
Yamamoto bowed his head slightly, then turned and left without another word.
Bang!
The classroom door clicked shut behind him.
....
When Gojo turned back, he finally noticed the stunned looks on his students' faces.
"What's wrong?" he asked, feigning confusion.
"Go-Gojo-sensei… the principal's attitude toward you just now…" A boy stood nervously, his words stammering.
"Oh, that? I'm friends with Principal Yamamoto. He's just used to speaking formally. Don't think too much about it."
Gojo cut him off smoothly, a faint smile still on his lips.
The boy hesitated, wanting to press further for answer.
But for some reason—even though Gojo was smiling—an invisible weight pressed down on him. His chest tightened, while the words were stuck in his throat.
Ten seconds of silence later, he finally frowned and sat back down.
The rest of the class exchanged uneasy glances but swallowed their curiosity.
Still, friends?
Chitanda Eru's violet eyes flickered with doubt.
She had grown up in a wealthy household, used to seeing subordinates address her father.
The principal's tone toward Gojo hadn't sounded like "friends" at all.
It was the tone of a subordinate… reporting to a superior.
.....
Outside the corridor.
Kento Yamamoto and the shareholders made their way toward the gymnasium.
"Yamamoto… was that really the legendary Gojo-sama?" one shareholder whispered at last, unable to hold his curiosity.
The others pricked their ears, waiting eagerly for the answer. They were also curious if he was really 'Him'.
Yamamoto paused, glancing at the man, then swept his gaze over the group before speaking slowly.
"That's right. The one who saved me three months ago—that was Gojo-sama."
"It's really him…!" a shareholder gasped.
Though the shareholders were mere civilians, they still knew whispers of the mysterious world.
They had even heard of Kyoto's Twelve Heavenly Guardian.
And among those whispers was a name that had shaken the Yin-Yang Realm only a year ago—
(Note: Yin-Yang Realm refers to the to the fundamental cosmic balance of Spiritual Power, which has two opposing forces: Yin, an evil energy linked to the monstrous Kegare, and Yang, the righteous spiritual power of humanity.
Anime: Twin Star Exorcist)
A mysterious sorcerer who had appeared out of nowhere.
His records were sealed, untouchable.
Ordinary people had no right to know.
But one thing was clear: since his appearance, the world spoke of only one man as the strongest.
Gojo Satoru.
The "Ceiling of Jujutsu."
The "Strongest in the Yin-Yang Realm."
And now that very man… was teaching at their Sobu High as a homeroom teacher.
What kind of thing is this!!
The absurdity of it made their heads spin.
"This isn't a joke, is it…?" someone muttered.
Yamamoto's eyes sharpened, as if he can already guess what this people were thinking about.
"Do not trouble that man. If anything happens because of your carelessness, don't blame me for what follows."
The shareholders paled instantly, and nodded their head hurriedly.
....
Brrrrriiiiing!
The class bell rang.
"Alright, let's go, students!" Gojo called brightly, standing at the classroom door.
"Time to head to the gymnasium for some good ol'—brainwashing. Ah, no, I mean a speech."
He grinned as if he didn't just said something absurd, and pulling out a small red flag out of nowhere and started waving it like a tour guide.
His tall figure and playful wave made him look more approcable.
But—
Brainwashing?! You definitely said brainwashing, sensei!!
Half the class screamed internally, trying not to laugh.
