The ship arrived at Falcon Scott yesterday; currently, all the masters are forming their own squads. And Arthur? Arthur sat in an office. His orders were simple; he would remain in Falcon Scott unless his abilities were required. Which Arthur translated to "you cannot die, so we're locking you up in an office", and while that assessment was not fully accurate, it was not wrong either.

While Arthur was powerful, extremely so, he was still only an ascended. And soon, terrors and titans would walk these lands. But Arthur didn't mind; this was a well-needed break for him. After weeks of daily exhaustion, his body felt as if it were breaking under the constant stress.

And so Arthur handled paperwork, learned to maintain vehicles to some extent, and guided the awakened. Arthur also realized the people here would feel much safer, with Arthur's presence always around. Arthur only hoped that if such a threat ever came, he would be able to live up to the hopes of thousands.

Arthur picked up a paper, which surprisingly was Sunny's. It was his squad's member selection. Arthur looked over the paper with great detail, his mind envisioning how the team would work. Surprisingly, he couldn't find a flaw; it seemed Sunny knew how to pick out teammates if nothing else. Not that he would require that much help, just like Arthur himself. And so the first few days of being in Antarctica passed.

Arthur found himself in a meeting room, it being nearly a week since his arrival in Antarctica.

In the meeting room, there were only masters as well as Saint Tyris gathered. Everyone is discussing their teams and where they would be stationed. Arthur himself sat in a corner, his input or presence necessary, but required nonetheless. Soon enough the meeting ended, Sunny making his way straight towards me.

He sat in front of me, his face in obvious confusion.

"Where is your squad?" He asked, not wasting time on small talk.

Arthur let out a small chuckle.

"Didn't get one" was his simple reply.

Sunny let out a chuckle of his own.

"Oh my, does the famed Paragon of Purity not even need teammates?" Sunny asked, his tone full of humor.

Arthur buest out laughed, attracting the attention of a few others.

"I wish, I'm just stationed behind a desk" Arthur responded,

Sunny just stared at Arthur like he had grown a second head.

"You? Behind a desk?" Sunny questioned, his tone actually confused.

"Yeah.. apparently I'm too great an asset or something"

Sunny just stared, confused.

"But your abilities are wasted behind a desk"

Arthur looked back at Sunny, snorting he replied

"Don't you think I know that?" Arthur pouted, gulping down some water. "And besides, if I'm actually needed, I will help, even against orders". Arthur grinned at Sunny, a smile forming on Sunny's face as well.

"You would, wouldn't you?"

Arthur and Sunny shared a few more laughs and topics, before duty called.

And so, a full week after arrival at the frozen continent, Arthur sat behind a desk once more. Approving or disapproving requests, sometimes sending papers to higher-ranked officials. Arthur saw it was boring, but necessary work. Regis had other thoughts on that.

Either way, Arthur hasn't slayed a Seminole creature in a week, and he was honestly happy. He was happy beri g able to rest from his flaw. He was happy being able to wait for his body to heal. Regis had told him what was happening. Using Godstep was tearing his muscles apart, and while Djinn armor prevented most of the damage, he couldn't heal at such a level. The only option was not to use it, wait for his body to heal it naturally, and then use it. But Godstep wore out his body much faster than even Regis anticipated. Arthur's legs were hurting every day, his body struggling to heal the wounds on such a small level.

Regis and Arthur surmised a simple plan. Don't use Godstep at all, unless it's an emergency, and try to get a high-level healing memory. Which was basically the same odds as winning 20 jackpots in a row. Basically not a possibility. Regis also surmised that one of Arthur's legacy relics should have the Ashura body. Or it was locked behind transcendence. Neither option looked plausible, especially with the nature of his legacy relics. Almost all of the relics require life-or-death situations. And each one had to be specific in matter. Such as space, time, imperfection.

Regis summarized that the next one should be death. Although Arthur was sure that they were not locked behind one another. Arthur pushed away the thoughts; he was trying to rest after all, and it wouldn't do him any good to ponder such information for now.

And so Arthur went to sleep, his body feeling at peace for what felt like the first time in years.

[A/N: on some further thought, I will be increased the poeerstones required to twenty. Why ? Because at this rate I'll be just doing daily chapters].
