Wei An finally reached his dormitory; he settled down on his bed while Alfred and the other attendants that followed arranged the room. After everything was fixed, the servants excused themselves. Wei An was also informed that they were leaving tomorrow since only one attendant was allowed.
"Alfred, is the fox allowed?" Wei An spoke as he relaxed in bed; it seemed like he did not care about what he looked like at the moment as he just lay in bed doing nothing.
"Yes, young master. I have informed them that you will be having the fox as a pet."
"Alright, if everything is settled, then you may take your leave. I'll be in the dormitory most of the time anyway. Go rest."
"Very well, young master. Before I forget, your father had said that there is an estate near the capital of Stalia; he had told me to inform you that the estate is for you to use when needed, sir."
"Okay, thanks."
After that Alfred excused himself and left. Moments of silence passed, and Wei An then spoke to the fox, "Hey, why haven't you talked?"
"I don't feel the need to, stupid human."
"It isn't fun if you aren't talking; it's boring after all."
"Well, I guess I can entertain you for a while..."
An hour had passed by since Wei An and the fox talked; it seemed like they bonded quite a bit.
I sometimes forget that this fox is still young... I guess I should take care of it properly.
"So, Human, why don't you want anyone to see your magical power? I can tell you're powerful enough, but why hide it?"
"Being strong isn't always good; getting attention is sometimes bad, so it's best to just enjoy life and live peacefully."
"Oh, well, now that you say it, I guess it's true."
"Mn, so you should grow up big to enjoy life, got it?"
"Alright, human!"

The next day arrived in a blink of an eye; Wei An sat down on the edge of the bed, not fully awake yet. He wondered how time flew fast in this world; they had only 20 hours compared to what Wei An was used to. It was 8 hours less from Wei An's world; nevertheless, it was fascinating to compare both worlds, as this world was more akin to what kids in fairytales would describe, while his world was closer to ancient times.
After some time, Wei An began doing his daily routine; he washed up and ate the breakfast served by Alfred. Later on, Wei An decides to explore the academy campus. Alfred followed Wei An, and the fox decided to stay in the dormitory. While Wei An explored the academy, students stared but didn't dare to speak to him. Wei An thought it was weird but just continued to explore.
Why are people staring again? Did the original owner of this body do something that I don't know of? No, I already have his memories; that can't be it.
Meanwhile, Alfred, who was walking behind Wei An, looked cold and unapproachable. Wei An looked behind him to see if Alfred was still there, only to see the old man with a stern expression. When Alfred saw his young master look at him, he gave a benign smile. Wei An quickly looked ahead and continued walking when he saw Alfred's smile.
So that's the reason why no one is approaching me! That old man looks like he'll pounce the moment someone tries to talk to me. Aiyaa, my poor life.
Wei An had stopped at a nearby bench to rest; Alfred stood beside him, looking as if he didn't just intimidate everyone who stared at Wei An. A few moments later a boy who looked like he was around the same age as Wei An sat down in the empty space on the bench. The boy had light minty blue hair, and his eyes were a deep shade of teal; he wore a simple yet sophisticated outfit. He had a polite smile on his face as he sat down next to Wei An; he then offered a hand and greeted Wei An.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, young master Wei An. My name is Shin von Stalia; I am pleased to make your acquaintance."
Stalia? So he's the son of King Stalia. I guess it's not bad to know someone in the academy, especially since he's a prince.
"It's a pleasure to meet you too, your highness," Wei An responded, shaking Shin's hand and then letting go after what seemed like the right timing.
"Please talk to me comfortably, young master Wei An."
"I heard you rarely go out; it's quite surprising to see you here, young master Wei An."
"Is that so? I guess I don't really like going out that much."
So there are rumors about me? I guess it's natural for nobles to know who I am... I wonder if even the common folk are talking about me... Just how well known is the original owner of this body?
"I assume you're here for the academy?"
"Yes, I am. I will be attending here once the semester starts."
"Ah, really? Then I hope we could be good friends and look out for each other. Anyway, if you need anything, you can always ask me."
"Yes, thank you."
Ah, did that go well? Hopefully I wasn't too cold...was I?
"Young Master Wei An, I hope this doesn't offend you, but you seem quite different from what the rumors say. Well, of course they are just rumors, so I didn't believe it right away."
So there really are rumors... Ah, whatever.
"Really?"
"Ah well, you seem quite reserved, and well, the rumors say you are well, the opposite of that."
Ah. Wait, cold? I swore I spoke in a friendly manner...
Before Wei An could open his mouth to respond, Alfred cleared his throat and then responded to Shin.
"Your highness prince Shin must be thinking of someone else; our young master, Wei An, has always been reserved, sir."
"Ah, is that so? Alright then."
"I hope this didn't ruin anything between us, young master Wei An. I was just quite surprised that you weren't well...childlike, as the rumors say."
"It's not a problem. Those were just baseless rumors; most people don't get the privilege to see me in person."
"Ah... Haha… right."
Did I sound too arrogant? Well, whatever, even if he didn't mean what he said, it was quite offensive anyway.
"Well then, I guess I should get going now. It was nice to meet you, young master Wei An."
Wei An nodded as he watched Shin stand up from the bench and then walk away.
